Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. I was appreciating the beautiful lake when a scene that didn’t go with its harmony came into my eyes. To witness immoral behavior in public, one need only visit the Beijing subway. I still remember the first time I took the Beijing subway. It was an early morning. I was in a hurry to go to school. Beijing is a metropolis in northern China and the capital of the Peoples

equivalent to provinces in Chinas administrative structure. Beijing is one of

the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China.

The municipality of Beijing borders Hebei Province to the north, west,

south, and for a small section in the east, and Tianjin Municipality to the

southeast.

Beijing is Chinas second largest city, after Shanghai.

Beijing is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and

motorways passing through the city. It is also the focal point of many

international flights to China. Beijing is recognised as the political,

educational, and cultural center of the Peoples Republic of China, while

Shanghai and Hong Kong predominate in economic fields. The city hosted the 2008

Olympic Games.

Last summer holiday, I went to HaiNan with my family. The weather was pleasant! The sky was blue more than I could describe, the sea was blue and bright more than I could believe. 第三天，我们一行人终于到了最期盼的地方了，那就是——长城。以前总是在课本上看到长城是多么的雄伟壮观，如果真的到了这里，发现长城果然名不虚传。接下来我们要爬长城了，天很好晴空万里，长城上人山人海，经过一段时间，我们这个团的人终于登上了八达岭的最高处，看到远处的长城蜿蜒盘旋，像一条长龙。妈妈说，为了筑这雄伟的长城古时候的劳动人民花了很多很多的心血和智慧。

第四天，我们是去的颐和园，颐和园真是美，我们坐船上了小岛，还游览了七百二十八米的长廊，长廊上画了一万多幅画，画的图案有《红楼梦》、《西游记》、《三国演义》、《水浒传》。下午我们还去了圆明园，最后我们去了鸟巢和水立方结束了我们的北京之旅。

这次北京旅游虽然时间不长，但是我们走马观花般的去了很多地方，也见到了北京的繁华，这一趟不虚此行。
