可是，在我们的教室里，由于有一些同学把食物都带进教室，教室抽屉里散落着同学们留下的瓜子壳，糖果纸，塑料瓶等。以至使垃圾产生的臭味充斥在教室的空气中，募然回首，苍蝇在那抽屉垃圾外，请大家把垃圾带出教室外，你带走的是垃圾，留下的是干净。你扔下的肮脏，捡起的却是品德。请大家还给教室那一份久违的干净……

还有一些同学私自动用电脑，有时会把电脑弄坏。同学们，你可曾想到如果电脑坏了，害得可不止你一人呀！所以，我们要向同学们发出如下倡议：

一、 不再把食物带进教室内，同时应主动清理抽屉里的垃圾

二、 以爱护教室环境为己任，自觉维护教室的清洁卫生，做好值日生工作

三、 不乱扔垃圾，并提醒乱扔垃圾的同学

四、 看到地面上有纸屑等，主动捡起来，放在垃圾桶里

五、 不乱动教学设备

六、 上课将通讯工具调至振动或无声状态，共同营造绿色文明课堂

让我们立即行动起来，自觉增强保护教室环境的意识，做校园环境卫生的小卫士，做文明的大学生。

香烟是危害人体健康的一位温柔的“杀手”，据媒体报道，吸烟的人容易得多种疾病，如肺炎、支气管炎、心血管疾病等等，吸一包香烟相当于减少1小时的生命。

我看过爸爸20多岁时的照片，那时的她白白胖胖，脸色红润。可不知什么时候起，爸爸每天都要吸一包烟。慢慢的，他的牙齿变黑了，手指变黄了，身上散发出一股难闻的烟味。我见了他，躲都来不及。我和妈妈几次劝爸爸戒烟，可他却说：“现在生活安定了，也该学着享受，再说，吸烟的男人有风度嘛！”虽说我们心里不高兴，但妈妈心软，最后还是由着她。

过了不久，我发现爸爸开始咳嗽，那声音越来越响了。先是轻轻的几声，然后是连续不断的咳嗽。有时咳得脸发红，连眼泪都流出来了。每天晚上，还没看见他回家，就可以听见他那刺耳的咳嗽声了，那声音听起来像七八十岁的老人一样苍老。爸爸实在熬不过，就只好求助医生。经过医生诊断，发现爸爸得了气管炎，这下，爸爸不得不下决心戒烟了。有时见爸爸实在忍不住了，我就把零食往他的嘴里塞，这个办法还真管用。

现在，爸爸长胖了，胃口开了，精神也饱满起来了。爸爸也主动把原来用来吸烟的钱补贴家用，有时也给我买学习用品、玩具，给妈妈购买衣服、营养品。现在，我的家里又充满了欢声笑语。

Now my father is fat, his appetite is open and his spirit is full. My father also offered to subsidize the money used for smoking. Sometimes he also bought me school supplies, toys, clothes and nutrition for my mother. Now my home is full of laughter.

Man and His Environment

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollution of water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is being changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence. Indifference to these problems will mean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve environment.
