联欢会快开始了，讲台上摆放着一台古筝，黑板上用彩粉笔重重的写着“元旦快乐”四个大字，字的周围还画上了点缀：小动物。烟花。气球，挂上了闪闪发亮的彩带，就连吊灯和钟表也穿上了五颜六色的衣服。同学们有说有笑，一进教室门，就会被一种欢乐的气氛传染。
一会儿，两位主持人上台宣布：“元旦联欢会正式开始！”我心中无比兴奋，心想：第一个节目会是什么呢？我目不转睛的盯着讲台，盼望第一个节目的开始。这时，台下走出了几名男生，他们手拿歌词，站在讲台上放声大唱。在唱的过程中，台下的同学有时哄堂大笑，但这并不影响他们唱歌，一首歌唱完，同学们纷纷鼓掌。当主持人宣布完第二个节目后，一声清脆。悦耳的古筝弦响，刺破了教室的寂静，只见她轻抚琴弦，弹出优美的曲子。当时，我用心倾听着，因为，这美妙的音乐把我吸引住了。

This article is about the origin of the Double Ninth Festival. It is said that
there was a pestilence devil in Zhuangnan of the Han Dynasty, which was
extremely ferocious, and would come out to harm people every September 9. There
is a man named Huanjing in Zhuangnan county. Because Huanjings parents died in
the hands of the pestilence devil, Huanjing wanted to kill the pestilence devil
to avenge his parents. On this day, Huan Jing packed up and went to practice
magic arts with the famous immortal Fei Changfang, hoping to kill the evil
devil. After a long journey, Huan Jing finally found the immortal Fei Changfang.

Changfang for two days and two nights. At last, Fei Changfang was moved by Huan

a knife. After a while, the pestilence came as expected. It wanted to go up the
mountain and eat people. Huan Jing stopped him, so they fought together. The
smell of Cornus and dogwood is not stable for a few rounds. He raised a knife
from the mountain. The plague devil was removed, and the people in Nancheng
finally lived a comfortable life. Since then, in order to commemorate September
9, people have designated September 9 as the Double Ninth Festival. On this day,
people will climb high with their families, fill the mountains with Cornus and
drink chrysanthemum wine to pray for themselves and their families. This is the
origin of the Double Ninth Festival on September 9.
I like this legend best, because I think Huanjings persistence and bravery
are worth learning.

Chinese New Years Eve is known as chú xī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".
Chinese New Year is the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year is itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year is a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.
Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese (Tết), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year is also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States, although Chinese New Year is not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and the US Postal Service issues New Years themed stamps.
Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “longevity”. 街上的人群川流不息，像一片奔腾的大海，涌动着。每个人的脸上都露出了甜蜜的笑容，小孩子们用小手紧紧地拽住各式各样的氢气球，追赶在父母的身后。随处可见的灯笼，红的直逼眼球，就像一个个小太阳，放射着光芒。地上堆满的花朵，尽情的绽放，红的红，黄的黄，白的白，紫的紫，令人眼花缭乱。传统的桃花，寓意吉祥的杜鹃，代表高雅的郁金香，象征健康的菊花。争奇斗艳。随风飘来的淡淡清香，令人心旷神怡，消除了疲劳也带走了烦恼。各种各样的花，吉祥的名字，鲜艳的颜色，清新的香味，让我们如此喜爱。轻轻地凑上去，百合花是多么的小巧可爱，嫩白的花瓣就像小宝宝的脸一样，摸起来嫩嫩的、滑滑的。百合的叶子也特别好看，绿油油的，衬托着那朵朵洁白。那摆满的桔子树，吸引了众多人的眼球，每一个小桔子，在夜空的映衬下，都显得那么明亮。兴高采烈的端着精心挑选的桔子树回家，大吉大利，有谁不爱?!
看那，兴中道上，一条用菊花切成的鱼儿活灵活现，张大的嘴巴仰望着天空，仿佛在对天长啸。两旁的鱼鳍，在风中轻轻舞动，就像快要游动起来了一样。望着那惟妙惟肖的鱼儿，不禁会想到它的寓意：年年有余。它的存在，还真增添了不少过年的气氛啊!
回家的路上，到处是张灯结彩，家家户户的门两侧都贴上了春联，总让我忍不住想要去读出。门口摆放上的桔子树和花，只是静静的待着，但还是让人感觉喜气洋洋的。引用大诗人王安石的一句诗“千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符”来表现这一场景再合适不过了。
旧年的结束，意味着崭新的开始，轻轻的关闭2015的世界，慢慢地敞开2016的大门。新的一年，承载着我们太多的梦想，让我们放飞翅膀，自由的翱翔，我期待着日出那崭新的一天!
篇19：我的新年联欢会作文

+ 加入清单呀!”“知道了!”这一声声一句句的盼望与期待的欢声笑语，都在迎接着在小学中的最后一个，也是最具有怀念的联欢会。
联欢会终于到来了，走进校园还是像往常那样平静，进了教学楼，踏上了楼梯，我逐渐往上走，那热闹而又喧哗的嬉戏声也逐渐在我耳边回响起来。
门口出现了我们熟悉的身影，两位老师容光焕发，迈着轻快而矫健的步伐坐到“嘉宾席”上，虽然她们没有化妆，但是那朴素的面容比仙女还要美丽。
首先，我们由老师讲完话后，就由我们班的主持人致辞，说完话后我们就开始表演了。第一个节目是《新疆舞》，虽然表演的地方不大，但是我们也能发挥各自的水平来表演；第二个节目是用吉他来弹奏的《希望》，当时全班的人都静静地听他演奏；第三个节目是由我和马越等人唱得《唱得响亮》；第四个是舞蹈《日出》；第五个是温可聿和蔚霞等人的《双簧》……
看完了这么多精彩的节目，我们也该放松一下了。接下来就是小游戏《搬凳子》，这个游戏可把同学们逗得开怀大笑，游戏规则是这样的：先搬九个凳子，再找十个人参加这个游戏，主持人说“转”时，这十个人就开始围着凳子转，当主持人说“停”时，必定有一个人没有坐上去，那么，他就输了，就得给同学们表演节目。
好了，游戏开始了，这十个人开始转了，“停!”，瞧，有人被挤下去了，就这样连续了好几个回合，最后只有一个凳子两个人，这两个人一个是瘦小的的赵健，一个是高大的穆耀正，最后一个回合当然是穆耀正赢了，赢了的人总该有奖品吧，奖品是什么呢?主持人申阳说：“穆耀正，恭喜你获得了这次游戏的冠军，这是给你的奖品。”原来，奖品就是申阳从“嘉宾席”桌子上的一块糖。这时，同学们笑得嘴都合不住了!最后，我们表演的人一起唱《明天会更好》，我们唱得是那么响亮，那么美妙。
相信这个联欢会永远也使我们忘不了，因为它使我们充满了更多欢笑和留念，更让我们记住了在小学开得最后一个联欢会。

Fill a “Cheun hup(a circular red tray separated in eight compartments) with melon seedslotuschocolate coinsnuts etc.
Flowers (especially plum blossoms, peach blossoms, water lilies),
A new set of clothes and shoes for children, preferably something red or orange.
