春节，又叫过年，实际上从大年三十就开始了。每到这一天，人们首先要家里家外进行大扫除，目的是把一年的灰尘和晦气都扫掉。然后，家家户户都要在门框上贴上红色的春联，还要在大门上贴上门神或“福”字，而且“福”字还要倒着贴，路人经过的时候念到“福倒了”，意思就是“福到了”。晚上，从四面八方急匆匆赶回家的亲人都团聚在一起，吃着丰盛的年 夜 饭，欣赏着精彩的春节联欢晚会节目，一家人其乐融融，等待着新年的钟声敲响。

十二点整的时候，春节联欢晚会到了高潮时刻，新年的钟声敲响了，意味着新的一年开始了，我们又长大了一岁。人们不约而同地到户外放起了鞭炮、打起了烟花，“噼噼啪啪”的爆竹声震耳欲聋，五光十色的烟花在夜空中绽放。

大年初一早上一起床，大人小孩都会换上一身新衣服，有的还要穿上新鞋子、戴上新帽子。接着，小孩子们给长辈磕头拜年，长辈们会拿出“压岁钱”给他（她），据说压岁钱可以压住邪祟，因为“岁”与“祟”谐音，晚辈得到压岁钱就可以平平安安度过一岁。吃完香喷喷的饺子后，一家人簇拥着来到街上看社火。有舞龙、舞狮子的，有踩高跷、划旱船的，还有大头娃娃和打腰鼓的。当一条条长龙从街上经过时，大人们就拉着小孩子从长龙身下钻过，听说钻了龙一年都会平安吉祥。从大年初二开始一直到初七，人们提着礼物走亲串友，给亲戚朋友们拜年，送去了美好的祝福。

家乡的春节就是这样过的。每年，我们小孩子都盼着过春节。

My Spring Festival isecial. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

On New Year’s Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.

On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

我的家乡在巫溪，在这里，不仅有五花八门的风土人情，就连过春节，也别具一格。

春节的前几天，是大家最忙的时候。不同于其它地方，我们在过小年的时候，是要做豆腐的，因为这一天是“灶王菩萨”上天的日子，我们要供他。在这里，人们在春节前几天都跑到集市上去买腊肉，回到家里第一件事就是赶快跑到楼顶，用松树枝燃起一堆篝火，等到冒出滚滚的黑烟，就开始熏腊肉以及香肠。人们的脸都被熏得黑不溜秋，与白白的牙齿成了鲜明的对比，活像一个“非洲人”。但是大家望着香飘飘的腊肉和香肠，露出了开心的笑容。采购年货是必不可少的，那时，超市里挤得水泄不通。孩子们也忙得不亦乐乎，一天中起码有一半的时间是做作业，好在过年玩个痛快。大人孩子都在为过年做准备。外出务工的不论多忙也都会赶回来。

大年三十，年轻人都会带着孩子齐聚在长辈家，整个一大家人都会坐在一张团圆桌上，说着满口的家乡话，互相拜年，为精彩的春晚叫好。到了12点可是孩子们的天下。孩子们会找个十分宽敞的空地，摆上一排排“擦炮”，点燃，都捂着耳朵。在“噼里啪啦”声中合着孩子们的欢笑。大年初一，无论男女老少，一家都会“全体出动”，去串门，走亲戚。晚辈都要给长辈磕头，长辈不论贫富，都会从牙缝里抠出如数的压岁钱给晚辈。当然，压岁钱都会被父亲母亲收着。其他地方都是清明节去扫墓，但是我们这里可都是在大年初三左右的时间爬上山去祭祖先。

最有趣的要数过年时的语言，比如什么“死”、“背时鬼”这些不吉利的话都要抛之脑后，不准说出口。不论问你什么，你都要回答“有”。在过年时，筷子都要齐刷刷地喊成“发世子”或“响水桥”……等等，总之，在我们家乡，过年时都尽量说些吉利的话。出于谦虚，在拜年时如果别人说“过年好”，那一般的回答是“年在你们这里呢。”

我的家乡是个不同的地方，有时间都来玩玩呀。

This holiday is busy and happy.

This holiday is very busy. I need to do homework, review the contents of

last semester, prepare for next semesters contents, take notes, and attend

classes, and...

The vacation homework is at least two weeks to finish and a lot of

homework. Homework is seldom finished in a week, but I dont miss the time of

primary school vacation, because homework can increase knowledge and enhance the

content of last semester.

It will take two weeks to review the content of last term. Although the

content is much more than the primary school, I have learned a little faster.

Review time I dont feel boring, I feel very interesting, my old friends and I

can not only say hello but also as a detective to ferret out the last semester I

did not catch the bad guys. (the so-called bad is easily delayed)

Preview the next semesters content will last at least three weeks, because

the content of next semester is more difficult, and the effect of light is not

great. Its also digested, understood and done. But Im not annoyed that I just

think I dont know what I dont know, and I want to be as simple as making

friends with him. And cant forget him, I hope my friend can be a little

more.

In addition to the above, I also have to go to the study class, look at the

name to increase my knowledge, but also in the spare time to buy the new year.

The study time is usually about 10 hours a day. In a word, Im busy every

day.

Ah! This is the busiest holiday, and this is the tireest holiday! But this

holiday is more fulfilling than my previous holiday! More satisfied! More

happy!
