As Tom has a permanent Sunday Lunch appointment at 12-30pm we opted to make a round trip to Hannan . The weather was cloudy but dry and as we were both a bit out of condition after a long winter lay off we took the easy option of taking the train to Shiyan to get us on top of the ridge with an easy start for the trip.

A long coast down to Jiangtan and straight on to Mount End saw us climbing up to Zhongshan Park. The climb got stiffer but still Tom kept on riding. Gritting my teeth I followed on and crested the hill, Then the usual Essex switchback with an enforced short walk for both of us part way along saw us at Tawny common. Round the common we went, to the Mole Trap, an erstwhile rough old country pub now tarted up for the motorists. I don’t go in there any more, so we sat on the adjacent public seat for a while and a short natter.

Time enough to break away, Tom to his lunch appointment, me for home by way of theYellow Crane Tower and Changjiang Bridge. See you in a while, crocodile! I arrived home about 2 o’clock. Just in time for my own Sunday lunch .

So they all take the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. On the way to the Emerald City they met some difficulties, but they solved them successfully. After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too. So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. 《红楼梦》,这本既是女性的颂歌,也是女性的悲剧的书给我了多少深刻的印象啊!它是了不起的!它在我的心里产生了不可磨灭的印象.它在中国古典文学也产生了不可磨灭的印象.它带来了一个在封建社会前所未有的东西——把女人当人,对女性尊重.封建社会把人不当人,尤其是把女人不当人.这样一比,就看得出《红楼梦》确实伟大.

在曹雪芹的笔下,一个个人物变的栩栩如生.林黛玉、薛宝钗、史湘云、贾探春、王熙凤、鸳鸯、紫鹃……我觉得那几十个女人,不仅仅是外表的美丽,也是内心深处的美丽.就如贾宝玉所坚信的“女儿是水做的骨肉,男儿是泥做的骨肉”。所坚持的“凡山川日月精秀只钟于女人，须眉男子只不过是些肉沫而已”。但我反而认为贾宝玉是“通灵宝玉”，他才是“山川日月之精秀”

读《红楼梦》时，总是觉得贾宝玉有点像鲁迅作品中的“狂人”。细细品味时，一比较，才发觉：那时的贾宝玉比现在的“狂人”更模糊，更薄弱……

书架上的《红楼梦》包含着许多我不知道的东西,等待者我再读《红楼梦》……

There is no doubt that Pride and Prejudice is well-known, the book that is written by Jane Austen has an influence on the culture.As far as I’m concerned ,the ending of the fiction is wonderful, Elizabeth and Darcy won their happiness, leading a colourful life .

First of all, let’s learn about the author who is Jane Austen .She was unmarried all her life. She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up in a comfortable environment with harmonious surroundings, so there’s not too many conflicts in her sight neither in her novel. In Pride and Prejudice she talked different ideas about love and marriage through different characters.

Jane Austen disclosed mid-class young ladies’ different ideas of marriage and love through describing the different ways in which the Bennet girls doing with their marriage problems,and this undoubtedly shows the writer’s idea about love and marriage: it’s wrong to get married just for property, wealth and status while neither would it be without caring about those elements.Jane Austen just attached great significance to marriage through her novel

by telling people that marriage should be regarded carefully.

Then, let’s get close to story.The details is that Mr. Bennet is an English gentleman with an estate in Hertfordshire. He has five unmarried daughters but no sons while his inheritance must be inherited by a male, so Mrs. Bennet has been keen to seek husband for her daughters with great enthusiasm.

One day the Bennets had a new neighbor called Bingley who was a wealthy bachelor and followed be the target of Mrs. Bennet. At a ball Bingley fell in love with Jane Bennet who’s the oldest daughter of the Bennets. Bingley’s friend Darcy also came to the ball and struck the sights, many girls liked him while he thought all of them couldn’t suit his preference, including Elizabeth. Mr. Darcy always shows others a impression of pride, having found this Elizabeth began to hate Mr. Darcy.

Before long Darcy fell in love with Elizabeth Bennett because of her lovely behavior, while Elizabeth is disgusted by his pride and has a prejudice about him. The official Wickham was welcomed by the villagers, and Elizabeth also took a shine to him. Wickham told someting about darcy,which increased Eli’s prejudice about Mr. Darcy. At

another ball Mr. Darcy invited Elizabeth to dance with him, but Eli refused him. Eli’s elder male cousin Mr. Collin came to Hertfordshire to inherit the Bennetts property by rules, he wanted to marry with one of the Bennets. Having known that Jane was already engaged with Mr. Bingley, he asked Elizabeth to marry him but was seriously rejected. At last he proposed to Charllote who was Eli’s friend.

Mr. Collins was good at flattering and he got the pastorate with the help of Lady Catherine. Once his family was invited to Rosings Garden by Lady Catherine. Elizabeth also went there with Mr. Collin and Charllote. There she met Mr. Darcy who’s Lady Catherine’s nephew.Then Mr. Darcy came to the Collins’ and confessed his love for Elizabeth, of course he was rejected impolitely.

Afterwards Mr. Darcy wrote a letter to Eli in order to remove her misunderstandings of him. Elizabeth’s uncle and aunt were also impressed by Mr. Darcy’s politeness. Gradually Eli’s prejudice of Mr. Darcy disappeared. Eventually they became couple.

In my opinion ,on the one hand,I think Elizabeth has personality ethic which caused her independent idea about love and marriage and in consequence she earned a happy

life. There’re also Eli’s sisters’ love stories served as contrasts to the female subject’s ideal marriage, such as Charlotte and Collin’s life: they do had a luxury life, but there’s no real love between them and this kind of marriage is surely a tragedy of society.On the other hand,Darcy is brave ,he did do his best to pursuit his love.

As a matter of fact,everyone has shortcomings ,after reading the story ,I did realize that we should find our advantages and disadvantages by ourselves.Moreover,it’s necessary for us to try our best to get over shortcomings.I am aware that we ought to get along with others with the same attitude.The right that seeking for happiness is equal for everyone.therefore,we should value the things that we have,and cherish the chances.

再次翻开姚xx老师的这本《小学英语情趣课堂教学》时，说心里话真的是很痛苦，像是下了很大的决心。过了两个月的无拘束、无压力的生活之后，发现静下心来做一件事很难，尤其是读书。因为是王老师给我们下了死任务，只好硬着头皮去读。事实证明：有压力才会有动力。这句话说的一点儿也不假。我重点研读了本书的第六章。本章节向我们展示了一些优秀的情趣英语课堂教学设计与课例，精心的教学设计，精彩的教学预设，无不体现了编写教师的独具匠心。设计中体现了人文主义，从教学目标到教学过程，都很巧妙地将传统的“要我学”转换成了“我要学”。

第一部分以北京师范大学新版小学英语教材四年级下册第十单元 Mc’s stre 6个课时的教学内容为例，展开基于情趣教学思想想的教学设计。阅读的过程中，可以看出编写教师非常细心，把课堂上的每个细节都处理的很到位，包括课堂的一些预设，生成。这一单元是一个阅读课，一提到英语阅读，我的脑海中就是bring, difficult。纵观这六课时的教学设计，教师借助插图、对话，并通过肢体语言、声音、多媒体资源、设置有效情境，挖掘文本固有的情趣，给予学生适时的语言支持和铺垫，帮助学生理解语言，理解故事。一步步地帮助学生把握技巧，培养他们的阅读能力。成功地把阅读变成悦读，使它真正地变成一种乐趣。在今后的阅读课上，我会尽力效仿，使它变得不枯燥。

第二部分是姚老师本人执教的展示课例。就像姚老师所说“情趣教学着眼于对学生学习兴趣的诱导”。在教学设计上，教师立足于激发学生的学习情趣，并通过多媒体资源，为学生呈现多个自然又生动的教学情境。另外，姚老师的板书设计给了我耳目一新的视觉体验，能够立足于文本内容的同时，重难点突出，也符合中年级学生的认知特点。

读罢此书，心中感慨万千，作为教师，很佩服姚老师的那份执着，以及对教学认真的工作态度。相比之下,我是差太多了。在教学设计上，我也要有所创新：

1.导入部分需要为所学内容做铺垫，不能华而不实。

2.适当地体现小组合作的魅力，锻炼学生的语言运用能力。根据学生的能力，在适当时机把主动权交给学生，充分关注学生的主体意识，激发学生主动参与的热情。

3.注重教学设计的整体性，连贯性。

I don’t remember the exact year I first read The Little Prince . Though the golden snake in the book plays a cameo role , I never forget the scene that he flashed kissed gently on the little prince’s ankle. It made me be afraid to reread this book.

Later, I listened a Michael Wong’s song named Fairy-tale Story, the prince in his song is different from the prince in The Little Prince, the prince in the song is the same as Andersen’s tales’ princes, they all have happy endings.

However, I think The Little Prince is a sad story. There is a saying: There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand peoples eyes. Now, let me talk about my reading feeling. This simple story flies over every corner of the world: a pilot (the narrator) who had an accident with his plane and crashed in the Desert of Sahara then he met the little prince from the planet B-612, and the narrator listened little prince’s travel experience of seven planets. On the seven planets, he met a variety of persons. They are the king, the conceited man, the businessman, the tippler, the lamplighter, the geographer and so on.

The Little Prince is a story belongs to adults who have childlike innocence.because children don’t understand the little prince’s deep sadness.This is not so much a fairy tale, as it is a tragedy. This story tells the grow-ups’ world is full of empty，lost and loneliness with kids’ perspective. Among the story, the alcoholic is impressive. He was surrounded by a pile of beer bottles when the little prince saw him, and prince asked him why he is drinking, but he answered he want to forget his shame of drinking. This short planet visit plunged little prince into deep puzzled. He think the grow-ups are certainly very, very odd. In kids eyes, beautiful things must look with heart. But the adults pay more attention on things’ appearance that is just a shell and they don’t believe the eyes are blind and the heart is true.

Through this story, it also made me understand what’s the love---loves more mineral, more dense, more bitter and more weighty than the earths profoundest matter.

When I first read The Little Prince, I can’t understand the mean of love and never to think why should the little prince leave alone since he love his rose so deeply. For years, I reread the story and think about it. The simple true was first love. The little prince didn’t know how to love and It was difficult to make him understand the rose’s heart, so it may lead to misunderstanding and hurts from time to time. He leaved his planet because he can not accept the rose and himself.

This is why the little prince don’t know he have to leave : at that time, he had no idea he was in it. The little prince don’t understand the meaning of tame until he met the fox later. Then he produced the endless yearning for the roses and realized his responsibility.

"Do you want to be domesticated?" For me, this is a profound question. In the book, the little prince met a fox and invited the fox to play with him, but he was refused. The fox told him that he was not tamed. “what does that mean--tame?” little prince asked. Gradually the little prince was beginning to understand, because he remembered his rose and he thought his rose had tamed him. So he chose to go back to his planet in the end. But to the fox, the little prince’s farewell will make her sad, but the hurts because of love, she should learn to accept it gradually. I believe there are full of hurts within serious and true love.

As long as the little prince flied to different planets and met a variety of persons can he understand himself and his rose. So I think traveling is a good way to experience life.

This year summer vacation, I read the American well-known writer Hemingways novel " old person and sea ". I extremely admire in the novel the senior fishermans will, he let me understand one person certainly must have relentless spirit, only then could obtain successfully.

今年暑假,我读了美国著名作家海明威的小说“老人与海”。我非常佩服小说中高级的渔夫的意志,他让我明白一个人一定要有不屈不挠的精神,才可能获得成功。

这部小说描述一年近六十岁的高级渔夫,当独自一人去海上钓鱼,钓一条大鱼,其实没有拉。高级的渔夫社会化几天后鱼,才发现这是超过了自己的大马林鱼渔船几折,虽然知道很难取胜,但仍不放弃。后来又因大马林鱼伤口在几个成群的鲨鱼鱼鱼鱼腥味带来一阵食物,但老人还是不希望这样放弃,最终突出环绕,返回到大鱼带渔港,让其他渔夫不钦佩了。

当我读到“高级的渔夫想:这里的海岸真的是太近,可能会有更大的鱼在更远的地方……“时,我非常佩服这个高级渔夫,因为他现在已经预计在一些鱼,但他没有解决现状,但方法更大的目标前进。再看看我们,通常遇到一个略是困难的,我们都不停地抱怨。我们将是祖国的未来,应该像这样老人相同心灵崇高的愿望,将更好的追求更好,更大的目标。

小说歌颂高级的渔夫的精神恐惧艰难和危险的努力没有斗争,我们也应该像他这样,不能满足于现状,应该积极,做任何事都是无情的,遇到困难必须欢迎以上困难,绝不中途放弃。只有这样,我们才可以获得更大的成功和胜利。

看完《悲惨世界》一书，冉阿让高大的形象始终浮现在我的眼前。他乐于助人，淳朴善良，品格高尚，虽然由于生活所迫，曾犯过一些错，但这并没有影响他的人格，因为他用了一生的时间在艰辛和逆境中不断地完善自己。

冉阿让失业了，因为生活贫因，他偷了一块面包，就被抓住关进监狱，万恶的旧社会!出狱后，一心想报复的他受教主的感化恢复了对生活的信心并立志从善，他来到蒙特亿，改名马德兰，开办工厂，成了富翁，帮助了许许多多的人，当上了市长。然而，为人正直的他由于不想让别人替他顶罪又被抓进监狱……

多么善良的冉阿让，他以德报怨，乐于助人，抚养孤女，不求回报。为了让珂赛特获得幸福，勇于坦言自己的真实身份，这需要多大的勇气，需要多大的爱心啊!虽然一再地受人们的误解和歧视，但冉阿让始终默默地遵守对主教的诺言，做一个正直，善良的人。

我为冉阿让而感动，如果我们都能像冉阿让那样勇敢面对自己的错误，尽自己所能去改正，以一颗博爱的心去看世界，那我们的世界将变得更美好。我为冉阿让而难过，为他报不平，如果冉阿让生活在社会主义的中国，那么他的经历也许就不会那么坎坷了。

我国有四大名著，曹雪芹的《红楼梦》;施耐庵的《水浒传》;罗贯中的《三国演义》;吴承思的《西游记》。其中我最喜欢的要数《西游记》了。

西游记中有许多人物，各种各样。但主要人物就是唐僧、孙悟空、沙和尚还有猪八戒，师徒四人一路经过了九九八十一难，才到达西天取回了真经。

这里面我最喜欢的人物就孙悟空了，第一我喜欢他的七十二变，在和怪兽打斗的时候常常会变成小房子、小蚊子之类的东西，让怪兽防不胜防。每次遇难都是孙悟空想出办法，救出师傅师弟。这说明孙悟空很聪明，遇事多动脑筋。这和我们生活一样，打不过别人就要智取。

第二我佩服孙悟空有一双火眼金睛和刀枪不入的身体，和怪兽打拼时，它们都被孙悟空打的落花流水，双眼直冒金星，可孙悟空却毫发无损。你看那个白骨精伪装得多像呀!猪八戒与唐僧都被骗了，只是孙悟空就是不上当。这也说明了孙悟空的火眼金睛有多么厉害。在现实生活中，也会有好多这样的“白骨精”需要我们分辨清楚，我要是有一对就火眼金睛就好了，这样我就能辨别美与丑、善与恶、是与非了。

第三我同情孙悟空，他特别能吃屈。因为每次都是师傅辨别不了是妖还是人，冤枉他，就会念紧箍咒，让孙悟空疼得死去活来、头疼欲裂，痛得直撞墙。就是这样对了还要受紧箍咒的气，但孙悟空依然忍着痛，打败敌人，保护师傅。我觉得孙悟空受了这么多委屈，可师傅还是误会了孙悟空，没有理解孙悟空的好意。真是，狗咬吕洞宾，不识好人心。孙悟空还是对师傅全心全意，宁可自己付出生命也要保护师傅。

我还喜欢孙悟空的大闹天宫时的英勇不屈，渴望自由，反抗压迫，大胆无畏，多让人喜爱啊!读了西游记，让我永久难忘，在我的记忆里也画下了一道美丽的弧线。

We all known that reading should focus on method, but what methods are good for reading? Firstly, the difficulty of the book you read should be moderate. Too difficult or too easy are not so good.

If you find a book is too difficult to read, just put it aside and find an easier one instead. Secondly, read the books that are beneficial for you, which can help you in your career as well as in life. Thirdly, for those simple books or those without deep meanings, you can scan over them, but for those meaningful and beneficial, you should read them intensively and remember to take notes.

Finally, dont be shy to ask questions, because anyone could be your teacher. These approaches are general ones and each of you should have your own reading methods that make your reading fruitful.
