And we all know that the more knowledge a person has, the better-behaved he will be. I think this is the charming of reading. Though she initially called it Elinor and Marianne, Austen jettisoned both the title and the epistolary mode in which it was originally written, but kept the essential theme: the necessity of finding a workable middle ground between passion and reason. The story revolves around the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. Whereas the former is a sensible, rational creature, her younger sister is wildly romantic--a characteristic that offers Austen plenty of scope for both satire and compassion. Commenting on Edward Ferrars, a potential suitor for Elinors hand, Marianne admits that while she "loves him tenderly," she finds him disappointing as a possible lover for her sister.

Then Willoughby abandons her; meanwhile, Elinors growing affection for Edward suffers a check when he admits he is secretly engaged to a childhood sweetheart. How each of the sisters reacts to their romantic misfortunes, and the lessons they draw before coming finally to the requisite happy ending forms the heart of the novel. Though Mariannes disregard for social conventions and willingness to consider the world well-lost for love may appeal to modern readers, it is Elinor whom Austen herself most evidently admired; a truly happy marriage, she shows us, exists only where sense and sensibility meet and mix in proper measure.

今天，我看了一本书，书名叫《朝花夕拾》，我看完了，深有感触。

这本书是鲁迅和艾青两个著名作家写的。里边有许许多多的诗篇及其文章，都很感人，其中，我觉第一章"狗。猫。鼠"最为好看，全篇以议论为中心，中间穿插描述童年时代的生活，脉络清晰。有"正人君子"的攻击，回想到作者自身过往的经历，使作品的论证更具有说服力。而且细致的细节描写，显示出隐鼠的柔弱和敌人的残暴，是作品更具有感染力。《朝花夕拾》是作者从"记忆力抄出来的"，大多数用来凝练的笔法摘取那些深藏在记忆里的难忘的生活片段加以描述，选择具有象征意义的情节和细节描写人物的神情心态，使作品的生活气息更加浓厚，人物形象更加鲜明动人。文章虽着墨不多，但渺渺数笔，却刻画出人物的独特个性，如长妈妈的淳朴善良、辛于革命失败后范爱农的苦闷和放浪等，给读者以深刻的印象，具有很高的文学价值。

Jane Eyre， is a poor but aspiring， small in body but huge in soul， obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book， after having a long journey of the spirit， Jane Eyre， a marvelous figure， has left us so much to recall and to think:

We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes， for someone who despised her for her ordinariness， and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.

We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a panion with the goodness. But still， a virtuous person should promote the goodness on one side and must check the badness on the other side.

We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion， everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance， but all the human being are equal in personality.

We also remember her striving for life， her toughness and her confidence…

When we think of this girl， what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply， but a huge charm of her ersonality.

Actually， she wasn’t pretty， and of course， the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her， even her own aunt felt disgusted with it. And some others even thought that she was easy to look down on and to tease， so when Miss Ingram met Jane Eyre， she seemed quite contemptuous， for that she was obviously much more prettier than ‘the plain and ugly governess’. But as the little governess had said: ‘Do you think， because I am poor， obscure， plain， and little， I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong!’ This is the idea of equality in Jane Eyre’s mind. God hadn’t given her beauty and wealth， but instead， God gave her a kind mind and a thinking brain. Her idea of equality and self-respect impress us so much and let us feel the power inside her body.

In my mind， though a person’s beauty on the face can make others once feel that one is attractive and charming， if his or her mind isn’t the same beautiful as the appearance， such as beauty cannot last for， when others find that the beauty which had charmed them was only a falsity， it’s not true， they will like the person no more. For a long time， only a person’s GREat virtue， a noble soul， a beautiful heart can be called as AN EVERLASTING BEAUTY， just as Kahill Gibran has said， that ‘Beauty is a heart enflamed and a soul enchanted’. I can feel that how beauty really is， as we are all fleshly men， so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleness or humbleness， but fleshly men， so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleness or humbleness， but as there are great differences in our souls， and from that， we can know that whether a man is noble or ordinary， and even obscure， that is， whether he is beautiful or not.

Her story makes us thinking about life and we learn much from her experience， at least， that is a fresh new recognition of the real beauty.

《水浒传》,怎么说也是我国的四大名著之一,更何况幼时都读过,自然对此书有点印象—一群大多是农民的武林高手聚在一起,喊着“替天行道”的高亢口号。我想问他们：“天是哪个天，行的是哪个道?”招安前，说是为了保护朝廷，劫富济贫，欺负朝廷没警察，没枪，大肆破坏治安，社会秩序;招安后，到老实了点，替朝廷南征北战，平了辽国，方腊，立了战功。但是，本尿不到一壶的人们更是死的死，伤的伤，残的残，落得一个疏导猕猴散的结局。

看水浒，不外乎看里面一百零八将的性格以及他们的“英雄事迹”：宋江的“忠”与“义”，李逵的“猛和孝”，鲁智深的“智和勇”，花宋的“帅”，吴用的“谋”……一百零八将，性格各不相同，作者将他们描绘得栩栩如生，形象鲜明，怪不得被称为四大名著之一。

再细说两人，一个是宋江，一个是鲁智深。先说这宋公民，外号及时雨，暂且不说，他的“忠”与“义”我是真的不理解。说是“忠”与朝廷，为了不使李逵以后造反，竟邀他一起喝了毒酒，真是够“义”气的!不知李逵泉下有知，估计会跳起来宰了宋江。为了不使“智取生辰纳”一事败露，一刀砍了老婆阎婆惜的狗头，显示出他的“义”，真是与朱元璋杀

人不眨眼一样一样儿的。

再讲鲁提辖，也不愧于那个法号—智深：智慧还真的挺深。他，也算是水浒中我最喜欢的一个人了，在三拳打死镇关西中，他明知道镇关西已断了气，可他还是叫骂着：“鸟!看你再装死，等老子下回再收拾你!”颇有一番放学后别走的架势。等：“吃瓜群众”们反应过来此人已死时，鲁智深早已溜之大吉，此时不跑，还待何时?这一情景，把我深深吸引了，这更体现出了他的智。论到“勇”，他绝对不一般。想那时李逵发现老母被大虫吃了时，也是愤怒到极点才用朴刀捅死老虎。武松更是，只因为糊里糊涂地上了岗，糊里糊涂的地喝到烂醉，又糊里糊涂地打死大虫，成为了所谓“打虎英雄”。而鲁智深倒好，不知是吃错了什么药，竟在乱军丛中一杖击碎了方腊的脑袋。要知道，方腊可是击败过无数梁山好汉的人，这人却轻轻松松，“取敌上将之首级如探囊取物，”真是堪比关羽，比关羽还关羽呀!文末他“悟道圆寂”的场景，更突出了他的传奇。一个平时大口吃肉大碗喝酒的花花和尚，还“看破红尘凡世，大彻大悟”，不能不说他的确是个传奇人物。

说到底，其实我也并不喜欢《水浒》里的某些人。但是，这本书的人物细致入微地描述以及对当朝社会的批判，却是世上的，怪不得，它在国内外知名度这么高，一些史学家也这么感兴趣。唉，世上再无施耐庵，人间再无《水浒传》!

在这里讲讲台资公司(本人曾在一台资企业持续工作6年)：事实上如今在中国大陆的台资公司，很多都取得了不俗的战绩，最典型的要算鸿海了，短短十几年在大陆的发展，就从当初的一般规模做到如今的EMS全球最大!超过了旭电(Solectron)和伟创力(Flextronics)。台资公司之所以有如此迅猛的发展，事实上她们也是有非常完善的机制作为公司的运营环境，而且是不断地改进提升。但是就以人为本的宗旨上来讲，台资企业则显得有点打着旗号的味道了。

台资企业以军事化管理著称，以抓执行力为主，以低成本, 高品质，大规模为竞争力，因此相对来讲，对“人”就不那么看重了。在台资企业里，尤其是台资工厂(当然一般在大陆的台资企业都是工厂)，劳动力廉价是蛮明显的，作业员的基本工资有时低到每月就五六百块左右，其它就得靠加班了，然而超长的加班时间(不夸张地讲，加班180小时/月在台资厂里绝不会是什么新闻，也许现在有所改善)再加上低廉的加班费，确实使很多的作业员难以忍受。

以上只是谈工作强度的问题。事实上，在对员工的尊重上，甚至有更多的和“以人为本”相悖的。比如，早期在台资工厂，保安见到台湾干部要敬礼，同时大声喊：长官好!然后大陆干部却进出厂时要检查(甚至要被搜查行李)，还有这样不准，那样不允许，当然有些是为了员工考虑而设立，但其中蛮多是不合理，更不用说以人为本。同样在工作中，老板斥责下属更是习以为常，当然同时会冠以“下属不力，老板之过”。在处理上下属关系中，比较偏向像日本一样，绝对服从。也许是因为曾沦为日本殖民地长达五十年之久之故吧。不过近些年来，已有较大改善。

哇！会面的结果真是令人有些失望，书信中的印象明明不是这样的埃当满怀期盼，终于可以一睹真面目时，才发现事实和想象差了一大截。这是一个有趣又常会发生的事情。其实呢，“人生不如意事十常八九”，生活中经常会有许多的遗憾和委屈。正因为如此我们常常很努力地去避免这样的事情发生，让一切都如意顺心。结果期望越高往往失望越大，以至迷失了对事物本质的认识，我们就越来越不快乐了。试问朋友的真正意义是什么？不就是无邪的友谊分享吗，至于表面的东西也就不值得计较了。

因为人生很少能够真正地心想事成，所以我们会寄望于故事最后的美好结局，至少希望它是正面的、光明的。笔者很欣赏本书的结局。当玲玲和瓜瓜确信彼此的真正友谊存在时，决定继续山丘上的约会，再为彼此美好的友谊努力下去。真好，友谊可以不用猜疑和负担，只要彼此接纳和分享，或许这正是现代人该好好想想的课题。

I felt that I was deeply fascinated by it soon after I had read it.

I first read it in a summer. I did not finish it at a single sitting. It was a tragedy: Just as its name suggested, everything was gone with the wind, including families’ touch, friends’ support, sweethearts’ gaze and youth with vigour. The story reminds us of valuing all we were possessing. A life lasts for a short time and anything in it lasts shorter. This novel gave me too much to think about and I can not fully express myself in English. It is true that reading an origin is more vivid than the translated ones. However, my English level limits me to understand the origin well without the translated. But I will work hard in order to understand better.

The novel is my treasure, forever, because I find myself in Scarlett and find the world I live in inside the story.

That’s really an excellent novel, with an ending from which you can see hope rising from despair.

令我印象最深的是“小人国和大人国”了。利立浦特的居民们虽然都是一般人手掌那么大的人，但他们却十分的勤奋和聪明。格列佛为这个国家出了不少力，最后却遭到了朝廷中人的弹劾，被迫离开这个国家。这从某个角度体现了当时英国政府的昏暗等等。在大人国，格列佛又从小矮人的角度仰视人类，讽刺了某些人类的一些不好的习性。

在慧嘶马国中，格列佛结识了具有仁慈、诚实和友谊美德的慧嘶马。在慧嘶国的语言中没有“撒谎”和“欺骗”这样的字眼，他们不懂什么叫“怀疑”、什么是“不信任”，在他们的国度里一切都是真实的、透明的，是人们所追求和向往的地方。在这里，你不需要考虑别人说话的真假，因为他们不知道说谎是什么。我也好向往去那种地方呀!我希望我们的社会能在我们一代代的努力下，成为像慧因国那样的社会!

Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”, becomes his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.

At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot’s advice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake. “It’s too far. I can not carry this body with me. It’s too heavy.” he said. He tells his friend, the pilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back. At the end the author doesn’t tell us the ending directly. Maybe it’s more significant for us to imagine, and for more, think over.

One of the important characters is the rose. Growing on the planet, she is very beautiful, but her coquetry and vanity suffer the little prince a lot. In spite of they love each other, he soon becomes unhappy. On the time of his departure, he just knows she certainly loves him. The character of the little prince actually represents the children, and their native thoughts and deeds. On the contrary, the inhabitants on the other planets, such as the king, the businessman and the conceited man, they also reflect the defects in the grown-up’s world. The real theme of this fairy-tale with a little sadness, I guess, is the consequence of pure love and friendship in our lives, but not others “matters of consequence” of the grown-ups.

红楼梦，千古奇书!

看了红楼梦后，我的心久久不能平复。我看见了形形色色的女子，但其中只爱一个黛玉。两弯似蹙非蹙罥烟眉，一双似泣非泣含露目。态生两靥之愁，娇袭一身之病。泪光点点，娇喘微微。闲静时如姣花照水，行动处似弱柳扶风。心较比干多一窍，病如西子胜三分。好一个娴静如水的颦颦。

用一个普通人的眼光看她，最欣赏的还是黛玉的诗情画意，灵秀慧黠。黛玉每每与姐妹们饮酒赏花吟诗作对，总是才气逼人，艺压群芳。无论是少年听雨歌楼上的诗情，清寒入骨我欲仙的画意;还是草木黄落雁南归的凄凉，花气温柔能解语的幽情;无不体现出她娟雅脱俗的诗人气质。最叹息的是黛玉的多愁善感，红颜薄命。黛玉的身世，注定了她的孤独无依，而她的性格，又注定了她的寥落忧伤。纵使大观园里人来人往好不热闹，可是这里没有她可以依靠的亲人，没有她可以倾诉的知己，只有风流多情的宝玉让她芳心暗许，却又总是患得患失。于是她无奈着“天尽头，何处有丘”，悲哀着“三月香巢已垒成，梁间燕子套无情”，伤感着“花谢花飞飞满天，红消香断有谁怜”，终落得“一缕香魂随风散，三更不曾入梦来”的`凄凉结局。

《红楼梦》带着忧伤、凄凉的气氛，让人常常想落泪，而里面的诗词之多又让人不得不折服其下，怪不得有那么多的人在研究《红楼梦》。我最喜欢的要数那句：花谢花飞飞满天，红绡香断有谁怜。
