“夫贤士之处世也，譬若锥之处囊中，其末立见。”才能之于人，正如尖锥之于布袋、绚烂之于素锦、星月之于黑夜，纵然极力掩饰、不欲人知，也未可得。“不患无位，患所以立”，才能的大小决定名位的高低，一个人要想获得名位，首先应该拥有与之相匹配的才能。

慧能初露锋芒，五祖立时发现其根性才智远胜原定的接班人神秀，遂将衣钵交托;行踪无定、并不入世的鬼谷子，却因深明刚柔之势、独具通天之智而名震天下;司马相如下笔成赋，潦倒不久，便被汉武帝看重，风头无二;齐白石擅画虾，得到担任中央美术学院院长的徐悲鸿的器重，力排众议请他至央美做教授……没有才能，则难以被看见、被发现，但凡获得至高名位，都必然有充沛的才能作其基石。自身毫无才干，却总是抱怨命途多舛、没有机会、无人赏识，如同不会游泳，却一味责怪河水太深、装备不佳、缺乏助一样，平白惹人耻笑。

诚然，由于家世出身、父辈祖荫等因素，占居高位、名气大振的人确实不在少数。但没有与名位相配的才能，即使居高，也无法声远，最终不保名位，狼狈异常。战国时期，赵括为马服君赵奢之子，又有秦军传谣，致使名声在外，赵孝成王遂以其为将，却在长平之战中一败涂地，40万赵军被坑杀。西汉李广利，是武帝宠妃李夫人和协律都尉李延年之兄，昌邑哀王刘髆的舅舅，身居高位，名气过人，却在与匈奴的战争中三战三败，最后更是投降匈奴，名落于世。东汉末年，袁绍出身汝南袁氏，四世三公，尊贵非常，名满天下，最终却因才具不足，粮草被烧，铩羽而归，郁郁而终。可见，没有才能，即使暂时身在高位，名望煊赫，终究如无根之木，不可长久。

当今时代，我辈青年奋斗砥砺，以努力实现自我价值为人生要务，追求成功，渴望业绩。全新的时代赋予我们无穷的想象力，发展的社会提供我们数不胜数的机遇，每个人都平等地拥有各样的选择、时机、权利。当树立目标、成就功业、实现理想成为可能，我们应做的绝不是费心钻营、盲目求名、计较得失，而应将努力学习、勤勉工作、充实自我、树才树能当成实现自我价值的首要条件，在自己的平台上苦练本领，磨砺前行。才能如同尖锥、明珠，它的锐利和光芒不会被任何事物遮蔽，不会被任何人忽略，只要我们拥有才能，定能迎来属于自己的机遇。

锥处囊中，才显名扬。我辈青年应努力锤炼，将自己打造成一根“尖锥”，以己之锋锐，显扬本领，赢取成功，走上自我价值的实现之路，走向理想中的壮丽人生。

人生中有许多第一次，第一次哭，第一次笑，第一次骑车……在这些第一次中，最让我难忘的是第一次照顾妈妈。

记得一天下午，妈妈来接我，因为考试没考好，我心情不好。妈妈问我：“考试考的怎么样？在学校怎么样？开不开心？”我气不打一处来，说：“哼！我才不要你管呢！问那么多，真烦！”妈妈惊讶地看着我，然后一声不吭的开着车，我看见妈妈的眼圈红了。

长久的沉默后我们到家了。回到家后，我就“嘭”的一声把自己的门关上了。一会儿，我静下来了，才想起应该向妈妈道歉。我打开门，迈着沉重的步伐，来到客厅。看到妈妈躺在沙发上睡着。她脸色发红，呼吸急促并粗重。怎么了？我心里画了个问号。我摸了摸妈妈的额头。发现很烫。我赶紧去拿来体温计，啊，体温是38.5°！妈妈发高烧了！我急忙去用水沾湿毛巾放在妈妈的额头上。然后去烧水，并到药箱里找到了退烧药。我把水和药给妈妈喝下，紧接着每隔10 分钟给妈妈量一下体温，并记在一个小本上。两个小时过去了，妈妈的体温终于降了下来。我愧疚地对妈妈说：“对不起，妈妈，我不应该对您吼。”妈妈笑着说：“我知道你心情不好才发火，但不论怎样，都是妈妈的乖女儿！”我抱着妈妈哭了。

这就是我人生中最难忘的第一次———第一次照顾妈妈。“百善孝为先”，以后，我一定做一个孝顺的好孩子，绝不让妈妈失望！
