Thanksgiving Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It is

My mother is an English teacher and she likes listening to English radio

过了一会儿，我们才反应过来，教官怎么能让我们单纯地玩耍呢!四周碧水青山，高山绵延起伏，树木在微风的抚摸下慢慢摇曳着。然而我们却无心欣赏这美景了。在我们面前的是一条弯弯曲曲的山路，又长又陡，目光可及之处还可以隐隐约约地看见山顶上挂着几条绳子。刹那间，我又想起在山脚下布置的任务，不免哀声叹气。再美的风景，也在刹那间没了色彩。刚开始我们还算是有精神，但毕竟是下午，在烈日的暴晒下，我们喘着粗气，满头大汗，体力也渐渐下降了，本以为山不高，一会儿就能到山顶，却不曾想山路越走越陡，我差点就滑了一跤。

当时正值七月，正是最热的时候，一路上几乎没有风。走到半路，还让我们戴上了头盔，有多热自然不言而喻。虽然中途有一部分同学有些身体不适，原路返回了，但是队伍整体的气氛还是非常高昂的，最终我们坚持到了山顶，但是人也快虚脱了，我也顾不上形象，直接坐在了一块冰凉的石头上，至少能够舒服一些。接下来到了滑绳索的环节，虽然没有想象的刺激，但是我也觉得乐在其中。
