特色小吃“东台鱼汤面”价廉物美，营养丰富，深受四海宾朋和东台人民的喜爱。虽是区区一碗汤面，却是处处考究，煞费苦心，因而烹制出来以后美味可口，鲜香扑鼻。据说东台鱼汤面是很久以前台城的一个小摊上卖的，汤浓、味鲜、面香，而做鱼汤面的师傅是一位从皇宫御膳房逃出来的御厨，所以说啊，当时这鱼汤面可是皇宫里的一道御膳哦！

我们东台的东部濒海，新开发有黄海森林公园、生态园旅游休闲渡假区、滩涂湿地保护区等等生态旅游景点，风光优美，景象迷人。素有我国水生动物“活化石”和“水中大熊猫”之称的“中华鲟”，在这片海面繁衍生息，游客可以乘船出海觅其芳踪，或者到生态园水族馆一睹为快。

市区有东台人民公园，园内有山有水，山水相接；园中有园，步移景异；亭桥廊榭，风光旖旎；天然五湖，波光粼粼；小桥卧波，倒影楚楚；树木葱茏，曲径通幽；奇花异卉，争奇斗艳。迎客瀑、三亭桥、香樟林、凝香轩、百花园、牡丹亭，身临其境，意趣无穷。猴园、鹤亭、鱼池、马场，游船、快艇、赛车，火箭登月、火车鸣林、空中转椅、高空踏车、新型碰车，设施日臻完善，服务热情周到，实为游客游乐观赏，访古寻幽之胜地。
