春节前夕，大街小巷的店铺都挂满喜气洋洋的大红灯笼，洋溢着欢乐的气氛。每家商店的货架上都摆满了品种齐全的货物，令你目不暇接，店外，是来来往往、川流不息的人们，再看街上三五成群的人们，手上惦着大包小包的年货，不绝于耳的汽车的鸣笛声、小商贩们的响亮的叫卖声、孩子们的欢笑声，似乎正在上演着一场欢乐交响曲!

我们这里农历腊月二十八，是人们张贴红对联、贴门神的时候，看各家各户的门上，不同的是对联的字样和门神上的人物，相同的是人们喜迎春节的气氛和心情!

到了除夕更热闹了!吃过饺子后，人们还在桌上摆满了各种美味，有糖果、瓜子等干果、香蕉、苹果等水果、还有各种饮料等，看了就让人垂涎三尺!我们举杯畅饮，向自家的长辈们祝贺新年快乐，长辈们也希望我们高高兴兴、快快乐乐，大家欢聚一堂，迎接新年。

the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal),

formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong

Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year is also celebrated in countries with

significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos,

Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In countries such as Australia, Canada

and the United States, although Chinese New Year is not an official holiday,

many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and

the US Postal Service issues New Years themed stamps.

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of

the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy

presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It is also the tradition

that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in

hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated

with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”,

“wealth”, and “longevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper is a feast

with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet

delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next

morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy

new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year

tradition is a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wish

peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously

numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of

Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various

scholars, making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.

On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing.We stayed at HuabeiHotel.On

the first day,we went to the Great Wall.The Great Wall is very long andold.It

has millions of bricks.Each brick is very big and heavy.Lots of peoplefrom

different countries like climbing the Great Wall.We felt very tired when

weclimbed to the top of the Great Wall.

We also went to the Palace Museum.The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces.It

hasa very long history.I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum.What

nicepalaces these are!I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited.If you want

toknow more about the Palace Museum,you can go to Beijing and have a look.

The following days,we went to the Summer Palace,Tian Tan,North Lake

andXiang Hill.I now know more about the history of China.I also like

modernBeijing.The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.

Later,I went back with my parents by train.I really enjoyed the trip

toBeijing.

听过父母们儿童时代的孩子们，难道，我们不应该帮父母们省心，省事儿吗?难道，我们不应该要珍惜眼前的幸福吗?

盼望着，盼望着，春节的脚步终于向我们走近了。

清晨，我早早的就起了床，毕竟是一年的最后一天吗，睡懒觉还是不好的。我便把哥哥妹妹也一同叫起，准备去楼下玩。

来到楼下，这里早已是一片红色的世界了，灯笼、对联、还有倒挂着的福字，没有一样不是红色的，给过年增添了很大的气氛。我们又在楼下放起了炮，玩起了游戏，玩得开心极了。

晚上，吃完年夜饭，我就迫不及待地守候在电视机前，等候着春节联欢晚会的开始。八点钟，晚会开始了。我目不转睛地盯住电视机，真是舍不得离开半步，生怕错过任何一个好节目。节目一个比一个有趣，一个比一个精彩，看得我们一家人时而全神贯注，时而捧腹大笑，又时而让人赞叹不已……

不知不觉，晚会已接近尾声，这时大街上响起了噼里啪啦的鞭炮声，把晚会的声音都给压下去了。二姨夫和爸爸也抱着一大团大红炮下楼去放了。在震天动地、此起彼伏的鞭炮声中，新年的钟声敲响了。“嗖!嗖!嗖!……”五颜六色的烟花好像天上开放的一朵朵美丽的花儿：有的红的像玫瑰，有的黄的像菊花……一串串烟花像仙女散花一样，好看极了，把新年的夜空装点得格外美丽!

到了小孩子日日夜夜盼望的除夕，吃饺子是必不可少的，我也特别爱吃饺子。山东人做饺子的方法也很有特点，煮饺子前是要鸣放鞭炮，为了让家人一年都平安快乐。煮饺子烧火要用芝麻秸，意味着芝麻开花节节高，日子会越高越好。饺子要多煮几碗，必须多出一些，表示年年有余。饺子煮好之后先盛一碗敬天地，再盛一碗敬灶王爷，保家人幸福美满。就餐时，除了每人吃一碗饺子，还要多盛一两碗，希望人丁兴旺。饺子里包了许多东西比如：硬币、枣子、栗子等。吃到枣子，表示新的一年能早期干活，勤劳致富;吃到栗子，就意味这新的一年能出大力，流大汗;吃到花生米，就会长命百岁;吃到硬币，说明这个人这年会发财。我在每次除夕都会吃到硬币或花生米，特别幸运，使我很开心。

在农村，大年初一早上不能把家畜放出来，假如家畜被放出去后会被爆竹声惊吓到，这样年就会被搅乱。牛、羊、马、狗等等家畜会得到优待，狗能吃到饺子，而大型家畜能吃的五谷杂粮。大家等家畜吃饱以后，再用扫帚从家畜的头往下扫，扫出什么粮食来，什么粮食就会丰收。大家会用初一早晨的隔夜饭喂鸡，据说鸡在过年时吃一粒米就能下一个蛋。

山东省的大家过年的习俗与众不同吧!大家国家的各个民族或地区都有自己的风俗习惯，真是“百里不同风，千里不同俗”啊!

云南的春节习俗

大家都知道，春节是中国人最重要的节日，其隆重程度不亚于外国人的圣诞节。中国各个地区的春节习俗都与众不同，有着自己的传统色彩。今天我将要与大家说说关于我的故乡——彩云之南的春节习俗。

云南的春节习俗与北京的春节截然不同，从大年三十到元宵期间才是春节，元宵过了，春节也便完结了。云南没有腊月之分，也不吃腊八粥，所以我至今都没有尝过北京的腊八粥和腊八蒜的味道。

先来说说大年三十这天吧！这天早上我们必须去集市赶集，购买年货和做团圆饭的食材。小孩去山上捡松叶。下午要把棉被、衣服洗了，还有把浑身上下都洗干净，因为我们那里有个禁忌——从正月初一到正月初三都不能洗衣物和洗澡。大年三十晚上便是除夕夜，这是过春节的高潮。大家忙做团圆饭，家家户户的烟囱直冒白烟。团圆饭做好后，大人把孩子们捡的松叶铺在地上，当孩子们看见自己的战利品被大人夸奖时，总是要骄傲地手舞足蹈。吃团圆饭前我们还得烧纸钱祭祖，饭后才把纸灰倒掉。等这一切准备好了，大家席地而坐，毫不拘束地享受春节的团圆饭。吃完后，大人忙着捡碗，收桌子。小孩子欢欢喜喜的开始他们的“鞭炮大战”，大人围坐在电视机前守着春节联欢晚会，不想看春晚的大人就摆桌子打麻将。这其乐融融的景象持续到深夜十二点，昏昏沉沉的人们点燃爆竹，震耳欲聋的鞭炮声响彻云霄，迎来新的一年。鞭炮放完了，忙活了一天的人们倒床而睡。

睡到近午夜三点时，人们又得陆陆续续从床上爬起来，做饭吃饭。这是四点钟的“迎春饭”，因为正月初一是一年中的第一天，所以要吃饭迎接。吃完饭人们又回到被窝，一觉睡到大天亮……

正月初一不能去别人家，只能到外面逛逛，这也是云南一大奇怪习俗。初二我们就去逛县城，就跟逛北京的庙会一样，县城里琳琅满目的商铺和千奇百怪的玩意儿让我们留恋不已。元宵节大家不吃汤圆，照样好酒好菜，不挂灯，但照样热闹，一家人去山上跳脚，也看别人跳脚。

春节过后，该干活的干活，该回深圳的回深圳。热闹过后的乡村，又恢复了往日的平静、和谐。

春节离我们不远了，我们大家也都盼望着这一个盛大的节日。对我们来说，春节就像西方的圣诞节一样隆重。而且是我们小孩最爱的节日，既可以尽情玩耍，也不用做作业。

每当除夕夜，全国上下欢聚一堂，我们家九口人全都在一起，大人都在那里包水饺做着可口的饭菜，有意思的是，每次我的姨夫都在那里炸肉，饥饿的我时不时“偷”一块尝尝，也能解解馋。因为我们小孩不用做作业，所以就在那看春节联欢晚会节目，看腻了，就到自家小院里玩耍，我们最爱玩的莫过于放鞭炮了，每次舅舅或者妈妈早早的就给我买上一大包鞭炮，几乎把所有样式都买了一遍。都由我和姐姐放，让我们过过瘾。

到了春节早晨，爆竹声震耳欲聋，窗外礼花朝我微笑。我们一家早早的起了床，我也换上了新衣裳，你可能要问了，为什么要早早的起床呢?因为爸爸妈妈和我要回老家看看，大约开半小时的车，我们就来到了老家，老家的空气就是好，我也能体验体验乡下的生活，更主要的是我不是闷在家里，而是和我的哥哥一起玩，玩一整天，然后再回来。

然后接下来的六七天时间，我们要到许多亲戚家里，每次到那里，大人们一说话就是一两个小时，而我们小孩只能在那里做着，十分无聊。虽然我感觉十分无聊没有意思，但是转念，觉得至少比闷在家里好，还能赚上一笔钱(压岁钱)。

The Lunar New Year is now popularly known as the Spring Festival because it starts from the Begining of Spring . Its origin is too old to be traced. Several explanations are hanging around. All agree, however, that the word Nian, which in modern Chinese solely means year , was originally the name of a monster beast that started to prey on people the night before the beginning of a new year.

One legend goes that the beast Nian had a very big mouth that would swallow a great many people with one bite. People were very scared. One day, an old man came to their rescue, offering to subdue Nian. To Nian he said, I hear say that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts of prey on earth instead of people who are by no means of your worthy opponents? So, it did swallow many of the beasts of prey on earth that also harassed people and their domestic animals from time to time.

After that, the old man disappeared riding the beast Nian. He turned out to be an immortal god.
