My Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

到了腊月二十三这一天，祖父就在灶王爷的神位上贴上对联：上天言好事，下届报平安。然后着手家烧赤豆糯米饭，先盛一碗供奉灶王爷，到晚饭后摆上黄酒，麦饼，果盘。烧些纸糊金元宝，糙纸，嘴里虔诚默念：腊月二十三，灶王爷上天，上天说善事，下届保平安……那有节律的音调，极像和尚诵经，到现在还依稀记得。

送过灶王爷，就是二十五的小年，小年时间家家户户开始准备食品杀猪宰羊，捕鱼，制作豆腐，米酒，煎炸麻花，地瓜条，米通小吃等等。那天起家里大人就立下三不准：小孩子不准说坏话，不准骂人，特别是不准摸人家的头，那头是年桔，十分的宝贵。

接下来的四天，就是一家大小赶集的日子，购年货，购买新衣服，对联，年画，海鲜腊味等等，那几天小孩子就常常缠着大人，希望可以带自己去上街，买烟花鞭炮，买玩具，书报。

最难忘的就是深夜的守岁，春节时间三天家家户户通宵达旦电灯，除夕夜，还要守住凌晨的十二点，不让时间过去，这样又表示多活一年。等到自己对着时针昏昏欲睡的时候，年果，茶点也吃得口干舌燥，新年文艺晚会也看不懂什么名堂，只是跟着大人在嘻嘻哈哈。深夜零点的钟声敲响的时候，就是最热闹的时候了：开门!

All agree, however, that the word Nian, which in modern Chinese solely means year , was originally the name of a monster beast that started to prey on people the night before the beginning of a new year.

One legend goes that the beast Nian had a very big mouth that would swallow a great many people with one bite. People were very scared. One day, an old man came to their rescue, offering to subdue Nian. To Nian he said, I hear say that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts of prey on earth instead of people who are by no means of your worthy opponents? So, it did swallow many of the beasts of prey on earth that also harassed people and their domestic animals from time to time.

After that, the old man disappeared riding the beast Nian. He turned out to be an immortal god. Now that Nian is gone and other beasts of prey are also scared into forests, people begin to enjoy their peaceful life. Before the old man left, he had told people to put up red paper decorations on their windows and doors at each year s end to scare away Nian in case it sneaked back again, because red is the color the beast feared the most.

From then on, the tradition of observing the conquest of Nian is carried on from generation to generation. The term Guo Nian , which may mean Survive the Nian becomes today Celebrate the Year as the word guo in Chinese having both the meaning of pass-over and observe . The custom of putting up red paper and firing fire-crackers to scare away Nian should it have a chance to run loose is still around. However, people today have long forgotten why they are doing all this, except that they feel the color and the sound add to the excitement of the celebratio

我非常盼望春节，因为每一次过春节我都能得到很多很多压岁钱，而且能与我在北京的表哥玩，因为爷爷的生日是腊月二十七，与春节非常近，我大姑就合在一起，就过爷爷的生日，到了春节有时回到北京过，有时也在爷爷家过。

今年我尤其盼望春节，因为我爷爷奶奶今年第一年，在我的旧家生活，顺便照顾我，到了春天才回到自己家。那么，我们今年的春节应该怎么过呢?

我想象中，今年的春节是这样过的：我在大姑回来之前，争取做完作业，然后痛痛快快地玩。从我大姑回来，我们便开始准备年货，加上给老爷过生日的东西。我和我的表哥，上午我和表哥去楼下玩，或者可以去公园玩，也可以去逛商场。下午我们吃完午饭，先玩电脑，最后可以干别的，比如看电视等等。

年夜饭我已构思好了。首先，我们先去买一个吃火锅用的专用锅，因为我们家有电磁炉，可是吃火锅用的锅已经破了。然后买一些调料，还有羊肉片，再买一些蔬菜。为什么不去饭店里吃火锅呢?因为现在的火锅基本上都有添加剂，什么火锅飘香剂啊、火锅红油啊，都有好多，所以我们不敢出去吃了。吃火锅时，还要看着春节联欢晚会。吃完了，我们一起包饺子。

第二天，我们必须回一趟老家。干什么?串门领压岁钱啊!然后我们回来以后继续玩，如果累了，就睡午觉吧。不过我不知道是怎么分配住宿，以前从来没有这样过。

盼春节，盼寒假，盼期末，盼放假。

High school is very important in one’s lifetime. Nowadays, the movies about

the high school time are so popular, but the stories are exaggerated, my

memories about high school life are so different from the movie. During the

three years, study occupied most of my time. I fought for the future with my

classmates. We studied together and shared our opinion about the difficult

points. When I made great progress, I was so happy, but when I fell behind, I

would not give up. I grew up and became patient, I was not the little girl

anymore. In the part-time, I would go to play basketball with my friends, it

became the most exciting thing at that time. Though the high school life was

simple, I gained a lot. I would never forget the classmates who worked with me

together.

Last term, I started to like comic, pop music. Lots of superstars are my

idols. Such as Conan, Jay, Syusuke and so on. But my mum dislikes them. She

wants me to study diligently. I have such kind of experience. One day, when I

was reading Harry potter with great interest. My mum shouted, "This is a

fantastic book, you should do your homework" How depressed I was at that time.

So, I always feel uncomfortable when staying with my mum. I think my mum is too

serious and too strict with me, and she seldom gives me freedom.

Today, lots of parents hope their children become talent, if we study

without any rest, they will be happy. My mum always talks to me,"Its time to

learn English, its time to read Chinese text book." Our high score will be a

great satisfaction to our parents. If we lose the high score in our single

examination, they will be angry. Besides this, they are angry at our choices in

comic, in music and even our way of speech. Mum, Dad, Do you know, they are not

bad things, and they are our happiness.

If we plan to do something of ourselves, we had better try our parents

understand us. If our parents see that we have high sense of responsibility,

they will certainly give us the right to do what we want to do.

春节离我们不远了，我们大家也都盼望着这一个盛大的节日。对我们来说，春节就像西方的圣诞节一样隆重。而且是我们小孩最爱的节日，既可以尽情玩耍，也不用做作业。

每当除夕夜，全国上下欢聚一堂，我们家九口人全都在一起，大人都在那里包水饺做着可口的饭菜，有意思的是，每次我的姨夫都在那里炸肉，饥饿的我时不时“偷”一块尝尝，也能解解馋。因为我们小孩不用做作业，所以就在那看春节联欢晚会节目，看腻了，就到自家小院里玩耍，我们最爱玩的莫过于放鞭炮了，每次舅舅或者妈妈早早的就给我买上一大包鞭炮，几乎把所有样式都买了一遍。都由我和姐姐放，让我们过过瘾。

到了春节早晨，爆竹声震耳欲聋，窗外礼花朝我微笑。我们一家早早的起了床，我也换上了新衣裳，你可能要问了，为什么要早早的起床呢?因为爸爸妈妈和我要回老家看看，大约开半小时的车，我们就来到了老家，老家的空气就是好，我也能体验体验乡下的生活，更主要的是我不是闷在家里，而是和我的哥哥一起玩，玩一整天，然后再回来。

然后接下来的六七天时间，我们要到许多亲戚家里，每次到那里，大人们一说话就是一两个小时，而我们小孩只能在那里做着，十分无聊。虽然我感觉十分无聊没有意思，但是转念，觉得至少比闷在家里好，还能赚上一笔钱(压岁钱)。

春节呀春节，你快点来，我们大家都期盼着你。

春节的脚步慢慢向我们走来，大家，这正在盼着它静悄悄的走来。这不仅是一个让人们愉快的节日，而且对于小孩们来说，是充满了欢乐的。

在综合课上，我们了解到了过春节的习俗是包饺子、贴春联、放鞭炮、拜年、穿新衣服、走亲戚、拜好友……

我们班上的同学都很喜欢过年，他们说：“过年可以得到很多很多的压岁钱，还可以穿新衣服，在走亲戚的时候，还可以和自己的朋友玩一会儿，就感觉非常好，再说了，大年初一那一天，出门拜年还可以吃到很多的糖。”

春节那一天，我们都会很早起床，这是为什么呢?因为我们都要给大人们显摆显摆自己的新衣服，还可以早早的吃长香甜可口的水饺，再说了，我们早起床也可以和哥哥姐姐们玩(因为过年的时候哥哥姐姐们也会再起来到奶奶家里来的)，这样就形成了过年我们早早起床的理由。

在春节那一天，会有许许多多的人来自己家里来拜年，我们则有两种选择，第一：跟着家里的大部队(这里指哥哥姐姐或者是爸爸妈妈、叔叔大爷们)一起去给别人拜年，第二：留在家里等着其他的人来给自己拜年。有了这两种选择，我们就会觉得过年非常好，而我则是今年留在家了，等着别人来给我拜年，明年就跟着家里的大部队一起出“洞”给别人拜年去。

你们瞧，过春节真是多才多样呀，大家一定都非常喜欢过春节吧!就让我们大家一起来盼春节吧!
