My favorite books are Readers and VOA. Readers cover the knowledge of culture, literature, and history, so I can benefit a lot by reading it. VOA can let me know the foreign countries better. Thanks to VOA, my oral English is improving day by day.

Im a Middle Schools student.I am busy.Next summer, I have a long vacation

There is an old saying goes that failure is the mother of success. Everyone

confronts with failures even those famous and successful figures. Some people

say that failure lashes them to work harder. Some think that failures are so

depressing and we should not to make any failures. For me, I cherish failures

very much for we can realize our shortcomings from them.

First of all, we can learn from failure and get more experience. It is

indeed so disappointed when we confront with failure. However, we can always get

some experience from failures and makes us understand our weak point. If we can

learn from failure, then we will avoid such problem in the coming days.

Secondly, the more failures, the more successful we will be. As the old

saying goes that failure is the mother of success. The more failure we make, the

more successful we will be. If we make many mistakes, then we will learn a lot

from them and will do better when we meet the same kind of problems. This means

we will obtain great success if we meet more failures.

All in all, failure is a bad thing for people, but it is a good chance for

us to learn more from it and become successful in the future.

My school

I am Alice. I am a student of No.1 Middle School. I study in Class Two Grade Seven.

There is a map of our school on the wall. The playground is in the middle of the school. On the left of the playground, there is a library. I like reading very much, so I often read books in the library. There is a teaching building behind the library. We study in that building. My classroom is on the second floor in that building. The teachers offices are in that building, too. Where is the sport hall? Oh, its on the right of the teaching building. I have P.E class in the sport hall. Thecanteenis in front of the sport hall. China is a developing country. Many years ago, I remembered seeing a lot of

news about criticizing how Chinese people copied the advanced technology of

developed countries. Nowadays, things have changed. There are some technologies

that are created by Chinese people, which leads the new trend. Online payment is

the most famous change. Alipay and Wechat are the most popular ways to pay bills

I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer. My mother is my first teacher. I know how to type, how to copy a file, and how to visit a web site on the Internet.
