我是英语课代表，所以在英语方面我是一向不敢有一点怠慢的，在之前的每一次考试中，我也是有惊无险的坐在第一名的宝座上(在这里说一句实在话，这真的是很累，每次都得付出那么多，我也都是有一些厌烦了)。但是上次的期末考试，确实让我栽了个跟头，我的英语成绩一向是维持在140分左右的，考试这次竟然130分都考不到，这让我有些惊讶，更有些害怕，在几天后的通英语老师的交谈中，我也是从她的眼神中看到了一丝失望，这让我下定决心在今后一定要更加发奋学习。

当然，在英语方面，我也是犯了一些原则性的错误。前几天，老师突然在早上检查起了作业，要知道平日里老师是很少用课堂上的时间来做这样耽误时间的事的。可是那天，也是因为我的一些失误，作业有些未完成的没有告诉老师(再说句实话，告诉老师，真的很得罪人，就是因为怕得罪人，所以.....可是，世界上哪里有不自私的人啊?!!)也是被狠批了一顿，并跟着他们被多布置了几遍作业。对此，我很是心服，我也当然知道这是不对的，是害了同学。可是我却是因为怕得罪同学，我觉得这是我思想上的问题，今后我也应当正确承担起课代表应付的责任，真心为同学服务，所以，这也应了一开始我就说的话，老师对一切同学都是一视同仁的!

IT snowed heavily last week in northern China. Big snows fell on Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Ningxia and Xinjiang. For many cities, it was the biggest snowfall in 50 years. The snow made traveling hard. Many schools had to close for days.

Jia Aizhen, 14, lives in Taiyuan, Shanxi. She should have a mid-term (期中的) test on Wednesday. Because of the snow, they had the test on Sunday instead.

To Save the Food

When I was small, my mother told me not to waste the food, so I cultivate the behavior of eating up the food. When I go out to eat, I will buy the food that is suitable for me, unlike other kids, they will buy as much as they want, and they can’t eat up, throwing away the food. 电影描述的是这样一个故事：一天，沙漠里一所小学的唯一一个水缸被淘气的孩子们不慎打破了，于是，喝水成了学校的大问题。为了修补水缸，校长想了许多办法。先是说服一个家长来修理，却因为修理材料要用到鸡蛋而搁浅，原因是家家都舍不得贡献出鸡蛋。好不容易把鸡蛋问题解决后，修好的水缸很快又出现了裂缝。最后，村里一个妇女发起了募捐活动，终于凑够钱，买了一口新的水缸，学校的孩子们又可以喝到水了。

一个水缸所引发的故事看似平常，却令人深思。在看了这部电影后，我才开始真正理解爸爸所说的话，并到网上收集一些有关地球上水资源的资料。这才了解到，原来水是人类生存不可缺少的资源，是非常珍贵的生命之源。

地球表面70％被水覆盖，但是其中的97。5％以上是海水，不能直接利用。人类可利用的淡水不足百分之三，而且这有限的淡水正在遭到污染。据估计，全世界现有约17亿人喝不上清洁水。我国也被联合国列为13个最缺水的国家之一，目前全国有400多个城市供水不足，其中100个城市严重缺水，每天缺水2000多万吨，同时，有29％的人正在饮用不清洁的水。联想到我们在学校里，每天喝着一瓶瓶经过多重净化的纯净水，有时还会觉得味道不好，随手就把没喝完的纯净水倒掉，可是这一瓶水却是西部一些地区每人一天的用水量。在干旱地区，很多人喝着浑浊的水，甚至没有水喝。而我们经常开着水龙头刷牙，用整盆的水洗脸，却不知道很多人因缺水，一年都洗不上一次澡。我们真是太不应该了。
