The first Arbor Day took place on April 10, 1872 in Nebraska. It was the brainchild of Julius Sterling Morton (1832-1902)， a Nebraska journalist and politician originally from Michigan. Throughout his long and productive career, Morton worked to improve agricultural techniques in his adopted state and throughout the United States when he served as President Grover Clevelands Secretary of Agriculture. 为响应省委号召，做好新冠肺炎疫情防控工作，2月22日，我报名参加省直机关工委组织的党员下沉社区志愿服务活动。虽然条件艰苦，紧张忙碌，但是使命光荣，感触颇深。

作为社区志愿服务9名党员的小组长，2月22日接到任务当天，第一时间与社区对接，明确了我们小组负责小区的卡点值守任务。同时成立了某某社区下沉党员微信联络群，了解小组成员基本情况，合理定岗排班，确定工作职责并提出工作纪律与相关要求。后续，在人员不足及个别党员因工返岗的情况下，及时与社区沟通对小组成员进行了增补。同时，在微信工作群中，对工作中出现的情况和问题，随时进行沟通和协调，保证了卡点值守工作的顺利开展。

做义工最重要的是一份心，一份愿意为别人服务，帮助别人解决困难的心。做义工没有大事小事之分，古人云：勿以善小而不为。而我们做义工就是要向小事看齐，做到小事时时为，大事集体为。

如果我们不断地通过自己在任何时候的任何行为去尽自己力所能及的力量去帮助别人，去影响身边的人，是他们参加进来，去帮助需要帮助的t他人，我们做义工的目的就要到达了。

Last week, my teacher told us that we would have a practical activity. At first, we were happy to hear it, all of us thought that must be very funny. But when we heard that we needed to assist the cleaners with their work, we felt lost. It must be the dirty work. However, the cleaners were very nice to us, and they did their work with passion. We tried to help them as much as we could. We talked happily. Suddenly, I was so grateful to them, as they were the city’s decorators. What they did meant so much to the society. We should respct them and understand their work.

绿色充满朝气，绿色是属于大自然的颜色。千百年来，绿色为人类所喜爱。

“绿遍山原白满川”写出了绿的广泛;“接天莲叶无穷碧”描绘了绿的彻底;“碧玉妆成一树高”体现了绿的飘逸。城市中的绿，是令人心旷神怡的美;乡村里的绿，是无拘无束的美。

城市道路边一排排高大挺拔的树，一片片青翠欲滴的叶，是清洁工人劳动的结晶。他们不顾汽车驶过的尘土飞扬，不顾剪理枝叶的辛苦劳累，不顾早出晚归的辛劳，每天默默无闻地用自己勤劳的双手为城市带来一片新绿。

乡村土地上一棵棵朝气蓬勃的小草，远远望去，是一块块绿油油的地毯。那是农民们精心侍弄出来的，是每天不厌其烦地修剪，反反复复地浇水，才有这一块块绿地。质朴的农民们辛勤的劳动让农村有了一份清新的空气。

城市公园里的一块块绿地，永远是那样的精神饱满。因为园丁工人每天的浇灌，让花花草草每天都能吮吸到清凉的水，每天都能痛痛快快地洗一回澡。园丁工人的认真负责，让草儿能茂盛地生长，让花儿能尽情地开放!孩子们在花草间嬉戏追逐，笑声回荡在天地间。

植树节期间，全国上下都扛起铁锹，提起树种，拎起水桶到郊外去种树。在和煦的春风的吹拂下，小树摇晃着脑袋向人们示意，似乎坚信着自己一定会茁壮成长，会长成参天大树，为人们送去一世阴凉。

绿是多么美好!在这个明媚的春天，让我们为城市创造一份生机盎然的绿!

三月十二号这一天是植树节，在老师和家长的精心组织下我们去东郊参加了献爱心植树的活动。

一大早我们就早早的到了学校，我们给每辆车贴上了标号 ，绑了红色的丝带以便路上好跟着不要拉队 ，两位老师也赶过来和我们合影，还给我们交代了好多注意事项，然后我们的大部队就浩浩荡荡的出发了。到了种树的地方，先听了爱心组织单位叔叔给我们讲了这次活动的意义，然后讲了一个奶奶捐了好多树的经历。我拿着我们的旗子就开始了今天活动的正式议程，种树。领了树苗以后，我们就把树放进了提前挖好的坑里，拿着铁锹把土铲了进去，踩实，还给树的周围留下了浇水的边，水来了赶紧接的浇水还挂上了提前作好的心愿卡。我的愿望是希望小树苗快快长大，健健康康！

要离开的时候，我非常期待下一次见到小树的那一天，希望它可以为祖国的建设发挥自己的光和热，我也要好好的爱护树木，注意环保。

[植树节活动小学作文

In order to make our campus is dressed up more beautiful, our school organized a tree-planting activity on the day of the Arbor Day. The teacher led us grade six students group work, digging, planting, watering. We girls are responsible for na saplings, pouring water. Oh! 为了把我们的校园装扮的更加美丽漂亮，我们学校在植树节那天组织了一次植树活动。老师带领我们六年级的同学们分组劳动，挖坑、栽种、浇水。我们女生就负责拿拿树苗、浇浇水。呵!都是些新奇树种，有小黄杨，有松树，有棕榈树，还有一些不知名、从未见过的。于是我们几个女孩子就围在赵老师身边叽叽喳喳地问这问那。其中有一种叫做“红叶石楠球”，赵老师把它夸得跟一朵花似的，我却没看出什么稀奇。很快就把它抛到了九霄云外。男老师和男生们累的是满头大汗，一身尘土。我们女生还是叽叽喳喳的跑去拿树苗，跑来浇水。尽管很累，不过，看着绿化后的美丽的校园，我们个个都是那么的开心。

秋季开学时，我刚踏进校园，就被眼前的景色迷住了，特别是那一行“红叶石楠球”。它顶端枝梢鲜红如火，下部叶片亮绿。在三叶草的映衬下格外鲜艳夺目。我们的校园在它们的装扮下更加生机盎然。

不知不觉又是一年植树节要到了。今年植树节种什么呢?对，就在我家院子里种“红叶石楠球”!我把这个想法告诉了爸爸，爸爸说:今天晚上我们就开个家庭会议，你来做演讲，如果你能说服大家的话就种“红叶石楠球”了。我和爸爸击掌说:“一言为定!”晚上我就把 “百度”到的“红叶石楠球”的背了一遍，并作补充说:“火红的‘红叶石楠球’，不仅能美化我们的家园，更象征着我们的生活红红火火!。”听这里我爸爸竖起大拇指说:“说的好，就种它了。明天一早我就去买树苗。”

就这样我家也种上了“红叶石楠球”。我相信随着新农村建设步伐的不断加快，不仅我家的生活会像“红叶石楠球”一样红红火火，全国老百姓生活也会更加红火，我们的祖国也必定会更加繁荣昌盛!

Campus activities have been organized in many universities and colleges。 These activities range from academic to recreational， such as academic reports， social consulting services， speech contests， poet’s club， painting clubs， singing and dancing groups， etc。

These activities provide students with two major advantages。 First of all， they play a positive role in improving students’ studies。 Due to their heavy schedules， students are often busy themselves with textbooks and seldom expose themselves to a colorful life。 But the variety of the activities provides opportunities for them to relax themselves and enrich their minds and knowledge。 In addition， the activities also serve students living in the “ivory tower” have little chance to get in touch with society。 Now the activities open the door for participants to leave their classrooms and get to know society。
