为使学生了解高中英语学习特点，在四节指导课中我以写作指导贯穿始终，通过听说读写训练，开阔视野，激发英语学习兴趣。通过语言实践，培养学生运用语言的能力，并运用已知的语法知识发现错误，纠正错误。帮助他们树立信心，从容应对新学期，新学习，新挑战。引导学生运用英语进行交流，写作，并且有意识的进行自我修正，培养发现问题，分析问题，解决问题以及自主学习的能力。

4节课内容初步安排如下：

第一节课

听说训练:以新学期，新环境为主题，师生互动，相互了解，鼓励学生大胆开口用英语进行交流，教师适时提供句型表达使交流内容丰满。

第二节课

说写训练：以新环境为主题，让学生了解修文及修文中学的概况，和学生一起讨论描述地点的有用表达，引导学生写一篇介绍修文中学的短文。

写后任务：

将写作评价表(自我评价和同伴评价)发给学生，指导如何进行评价，要求第二天交。

第三节课

短文改错解题指导。结合学生写的文章，找出常犯的错误，提前打印好有语病的句子，共同分析错误原因。

第四节课(讲座)

英语书面表达要注意的几个问题(主要结合高考评卷中反映出的学生答题出现的突出问题，提出平时学生在书面表达训练中应该强化训练的方向，应该积累的知识等等)

四节课的指导收到了较好的效果，学生从不愿意开口讲英语到能够比较积极的参与课堂活动，能够比较认真的完成布置的任务，大部分学生英语写作能力较好。

但是，在教学中也暴露出了他们的一些不足：

1. 学习的主动性和积极性还有待大大提高，良好的学习习惯还有待养成。比如在课堂上教师所讲的内容大部份学生还没有形成及时记笔记的习惯，老师提醒记下来才动笔，没有记完全的内容课后也不会找其他同学的笔记补充完整;老师要求上交的学习任务只有一半的学生能够按照规定时间上交，其余的是拖延一天才完成，学习上的紧迫感和竞争意识不强。

2.自主学习能力和合作学习需要花很大功夫培养。可能因为初中的学习多数时间都是在完成老师的任务，按照老师的要求做，很少有自己的“主见”，所以遇到放手自己安排学习和同伴合作时就无所适从，做得很不好。而到了高中学习阶段，这两方面的能力不能大幅度提高的话，学习的效果不会太好。

3.课外知识严重匮乏。主要体现在老师问到很多常识绝大多数学生都不知道。以往的学习还是只停留在书本知识上，可见有用的课外书的阅读量太少，知识面太窄。

这些不足将会严重影响他们今后学习迅速的提高，在今后的教学当中要针对性的，有目的的进行训练，要想又快又好的出成绩，老师的任务任重道远。

其一，森林能够平衡地球的二氧化碳。森林是二氧化碳的主要消耗者，每公顷森林生产10吨干物质会吸收16吨二氧化碳，释放12吨氧气，这使得森林成为一座巨大的氧气库。因此植树造林已成为减缓温室效应的主要途径。

其二，森林能防风固沙。森林可以通过降低风速、改变风向减少风蚀的强度;林木，尤其是灌木树的强大根系，可以固着土壤颗粒。实践证明，通过营造防风沙林，配合农业、水利措施，会取得良好的防风固沙效果。

在春光明媚的星期五，我们学校举行了一年一度的英语节活动。

同学们兴高采烈的拿着要卖的书到操场上去。我也带上了自己精心准备的《安妮日记》。刚到操场，我就被这热闹的气氛吸引住了。安静的操场一下子变成了熙熙攘攘的大市场。

因为是英语节，老师让我们尽量用英语沟通。小朋友向我们奔来，可是他们只看一眼我们的书，就急匆匆的去看其他班的玩具了。好像是他们喜欢的玩具要被别人抢走了似的。看来爱玩是孩子的天性，玩具的吸引力比书大呀。这时，我们就像热锅上的蚂蚁，拼命地喊着“comehere，comehere！”尽管我卖力的喊着，小朋友还是不肯光顾我们的书摊。张老师看着我们心急如焚的样子，只好说：“要是实在没有人买，那就互相卖吧。”我对着同学们喊着：canIhelpyou？canIhelpyou？我把书的价格降低后，终于卖出去了。同学们也都买到了自己喜欢的书籍。

英语节活动不但锻炼了我的英语口语能力，也让我明白了卖东西不是我想象的那么简单，也是需要学习的。我喜欢英语节！

The first Arbor Day took place on April 10, 1872 in Nebraska. It was the brainchild of Julius Sterling Morton (1832-1902)， a Nebraska journalist and politician originally from Michigan. Throughout his long and productive career, Morton worked to improve agricultural techniques in his adopted state and throughout the United States when he served as President Grover Clevelands Secretary of Agriculture. But his most important legacy is Arbor Day.

Morton (photo, right) felt that Nebraskas landscape and economy would benefit from the wide-scale planting of trees. He set an example himself planting orchards, shade trees and wind breaks on his own farm and he urged his neighbours to follow suit. Mortons real opportunity, though, arrived when he became a member of Nebraskas state board of agriculture. He proposed that a special day be set aside dedicated to tree planting and increasing awareness of the importance of trees. Nebraskas first Arbor Day was an amazing success. More than one million trees were planted. A second Arbor Day took place in 1884 and the young state made it an annual legal holiday in 1885, using April 22nd to coincide with Mortons birthday.

In the years following that first Arbor Day, Mortons idea spread beyond Nebraska with Kansas, Tennessee, Minnesota and Ohio all proclaiming their own Arbor Days. Today all 50 states celebrate Arbor Day although the dates may vary in keeping with the local climate. (State Arbor Days) At the federal level, in 1970, President Richard Nixon proclaimed the last Friday in April as National Arbor Day. Arbor Day is also now celebrated in other countries including Australia. Variations are celebrated as Greening Week of Japan, The New Years Days of Trees in Israel, The Tree-loving Week of Korea, The Reforestation Week of Yugoslavia, The Students Afforestation Day of Iceland and The National Festival of Tree Planting in India. Julius Sterling Morton would be proud. Sometimes one good idea can make a real difference.

For the homeowner, Arbor Day is an excellent opportunity to take stock of the trees on your property and plan for the future. Inspect your trees. Note any broken branches or evidence of disease or insect infestation. Think about how planting new trees might improve the look of your property or provide wind or heat protection. Take a trip to your local nursery to see whats available and to get new ideas. Walk around your neighbourhood. Are there any public areas where tree planting or tree maintenance might make a real difference to your community? Talk with your neighbours. Find out what their opinions are. And, oh yes, plant a tree.

Earth Hour is an activity proposed by WWF to cope with global climate change, hoping that individuals, communities, businesses and governments turn off lights from 20:30 to 21:30 on the last Saturday of March each year, to show their support to action on climate change. This is a global activity that spreads all over the world quickly after it started in Sydney in 2007.Earth Hour aims to make people aware of the threat posed by climate change and make them aware of a small movement of personal and corporate will have profound impact to the environment.

“地球一小时”是由世界自然基金会应对全球气候变化发起的一项活动，希望个人，社区，企业和政府每年3月的最后一个星期六从20:30至21:30关灯，以示支持应对气候变化的行动。这是一项全球性的活动，2007年始于悉尼后就迅速传遍世界。“地球一小时”旨在使人们意识到气候变化带来的威胁，以及使他们认识到个人和企业的细小行为将对环境产生深远的影响。

n China, there are many cities taking part in this activity,especially the large cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Many citizens consciously turn off lights in the hour and they go out for a walk or some friends gather together to have fun. In college, students will hold some activities to attract students out of dormitory. Earth Hour has variety of activities, but the ultimate goal is the same, that is focusing on climate change and protecting the environment for individuals.

在中国，有很多城市参加了这项活动，特别是大城市，比如北京，上海和广州。很多市民在这期间有意识的关灯，他们出去散步或者和朋友聚在一起玩。在大学里，学生们也举行了一些活动吸引学生离开宿舍。地球一小时有多种活动，但是最终的目的都是一样的，都是关注气候变化和保护环境。
