这篇文章很感人，写了主人公考进了初中，可每天却要走十几里的山路。父亲要每天送他去读书，但他拒绝了父亲的好意，不让父亲送他。在路上，他很害怕。这样的害怕持续了三年。直到有一次，他与父亲游泳，发现父亲腿上的一条蜈蚣似的伤疤，跟母亲的聊天中，才明白了整个事情的来龙去脉：原来他每天上学的路上父亲一直跟着他！而父亲腿上的伤疤，是在送他上学时被捕兽夹给夹伤的。父亲还总结出送他的经验，离他20米远，既能看到他又不会被发现……

读到这儿，我的眼睛湿润了。这是一位多么伟大的父亲啊！他不辞辛劳，为的，却只是孩子的安全！他放弃了自己的工作，跟着儿子去上学；他放弃了自己的睡眠，跟着儿子在半夜就起床，去上学；他还放弃了……这位伟大的父亲为了儿子，可以放弃一切！
