四、Whale 鲸鱼

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that a whale swallowed Jonah.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said,“When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah.”

The teacher asked,“What if Jonah went to hell?”

The little girl replied,“Then you ask him.”

我的妈妈工作繁忙，很少有时间来陪我，虽然大部分时间都是看着妈妈匆匆离去的身影，但还是每天都给我冲一杯牛奶，心里的一肚子怨气也在这一瞬间消失了。

那是一个寒冷的冬日，因快临近期末，所以我的作业特别多。我连晚饭都没有吃，一直在写作业，过了很长的时间，我终于把作业都写完了，一看时间，啊！都快10点了，窗外飘着大雪，不禁使我打了好几个寒战，本想一直躺在被窝里一动不动，可我的肚子一点也不争气，刚想打开房门，却听见玻璃打碎的声音。我轻轻地推开了门，从缝隙里仔细一看，原来是妈妈正在为我热牛奶呢，可因为天气原因，手都冻红了，一不小心打碎了玻璃杯，妈妈以为我已经睡了，一直蹑手蹑脚的用手捡起碎片，可又不小心划破了手指，我的心十分沉重，妈妈把牛奶冲好了，却十分疲劳。这时她端着这杯牛奶向我的房间走来，我快速的到床上躺好，妈妈把牛奶放在床边，悄悄地走了。她不会知道，我已经在床上哭成什么样子了。

大冬天，妈妈自己不好好休息，明天还要起早上班，脸上的皱纹，又多了几条。这时，窗外的雪更大了，可我一点儿也不觉得冷，反而心里却暖洋洋的。

直到现在想起来，两行泪水依然往下流淌……
