在放寒假时校长要求我们在假期中要多充实自己，多看书，所以一有时间我就喜欢四处看看，但就是在自己的不经意间发现了很多有价值的东西，你看这样故事：  《杯子满了》一天，南因先生家里来了一位客人，要向南因请教学问。

南因先生抽空接待了他。宾主落座之后，客人没有听他的话，自己却滔滔不绝地大谈起来。从自己的生活、工作，及至家庭，又谈到自己的事业和研究，一口气说了大半天，南因先生几次想插话都未成功。

南因先生静静地听着，过了一会儿，他站起身来，走进厨房，端来了茶。他往客人的杯子里倒茶，虽然倒满了但是仍在继续倒，仿佛根本就没有看见一样。

一旁高谈论阔的客人一开始觉得十分奇怪，看到南因先生还没停下，水已经开始往外溢了，他终于忍住了手。  你没看见杯子已经满了吗？他说，再也倒不进去啦！  这倒是真的，南因终于住了手，和这个杯子一样，你自己已经装满了自己的想法。要是你不给我一只空杯子，我怎么给你讲呢？  从这个故事当中我知道，要使自己的思想吐故纳新，就要及时将大脑清空，如同必须清空装满了水的杯子才能容纳更多的东西一样。这让我想起自己的工作，在工作当中也一样，要及时的清空大脑，做好充分的准备来迎接新的东西。只有如此，你才能在工作中不断进取，不断创新，也才能做出好的成绩来。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But i havent bored all the time. sometimes i read the books, sometime i listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. and i also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. and i watched the spring festival party of the cctv in the last seconds of the 2004 year! i think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

Long-expected "life" winter vacation finally arrived, I was very excited, even sleep toss and turn, although winter vacation life bitter smile, but it is also a wonderful memory.

期盼已久的”寒假生活”终于来临了，我非常兴奋，连睡觉都辗转反侧，虽然寒假的生活有苦有笑，不过却也是个美好的回忆。

我们第一个礼拜回南部，虽然爷爷已经不在人世间了，不过我还是过的很快乐，回想起爷爷还在时，和我相处时的点点滴滴，以及每天跟爷爷一起出去玩，一起做过的每一件事情，都会使我流泪满面，怀念不已。

第二个礼拜，我参加了舞蹈冬令营，每天都有不同的课程，例如：芭蕾舞、现代舞、武功…等。一整个礼拜下来，使我的舞技更好了。二月十三号星期日，我们全家 去苗栗的苑里玩，主要是要找我外婆的姐姐，不过也有去别的地方参观，例如：妈祖庙、廖府先生庙…等，不能不一提的是，那里有一家卖肉圆的四十年老店，超级 好吃!令人齿颊留香，回味无穷…

不过印象中最深刻的还是回南部时，看到满一百岁的阿祖，虽然她已是一百岁的高龄，不过她的身体还是很健康，可以跑步、走路，都没有生病，可见平日的身体保养是多么的重要啊!

今年我的寒假生活过的很充实、很快乐，也得到许多收获，希望明年的寒假、暑假，都能像这次一样，有个美好的回忆。

the summer vacation had e round again。 i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while。 lest i fool around all through this summer vacation， i made a plan as to how to spend it。 first， i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them。 then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise， such as walking， running and rowing， to keep me physically strong。 it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time。 i did， because i lived up to what i had planned。

Summer holiday is coming . I want to go to Beijing . I go to Beijing with my father , my mother and my brother . We want to go there by plane because it takes less time . We can see many things in it . First we can visit the Great Wall , it is very famous for the world ,so I like it very much . Second we can go to the zoo because I like to see animals . There are many foreigners in this city ,too . I want to talk with them in English . I want to learn English from them . I think we can have a good time then . I hope it is coming soon .

A winter vacation passed, but I was still looking back on a cold holiday - a firecracker. Setting off firecrackers is the custom of the new year.
