一、掌握日记的正确格式

英语日记与汉语日记的结构相似，主要由两部分组成，即书端和正文。

1.书端（Heading） 英语日记的书端，是专门记载日期、星期和天气的，这一点与汉语日记相同，但在排列上有所不同。英语日记的书端在正文上边的左边（顶格），从左向右推进。

1）英语日期的写法有两种：

（1）先写某日，次写月份，最后写年份。某日用序数词的缩写形式；除May ， June和July三个月份外，其余各月份均可缩写；年份均用阿拉伯数字书写，但不能把“1991”缩写成“91”等。例如：

15th August 1989

（2）先写月份，次写某日，最后写年份。用这种写法比较普遍。某日用基数词，也可用序数词的缩写形式，但后边须加逗号。例如：

August 15，1989

August 15th，1989

如果在英语日记的书端里要写星期的话，可将其写在日期的前面或后面。例如：

Saturday，October 22nd，1983

October 22nd ，1983，Saturday

2）天气情况

如果书端里还要记载那天的天气，只需用少数的词，如“Fin e”“Cloud y”等形容词表示。天气写在日期之后，须用逗号隔开。如果第一行内写不完，也可以移到第二行去写，但第一行内前边要空格，不可与第二行平头。例如：

Saturday，March 4，1988，Fine but windy in the afternoon 常见的天气用语有：

fine 晴天的 rainy 下雨的 cloudy 阴天的，多云的

2．正文（Body） 日记是每日生活的记载。生活的内容广泛，但写作时应有所选择，最好是记下当天有意义，感受最深的东西、不可巨细不分地记流水帐。 记日记的手法灵活，形式多样，它常用叙述的方法，可议论、也可抒情和描写；有话则长，无话则短，甚至于三言两语亦可。

值得一提的是日记的时态选择，由于日记记载的事情通常已经发生，因此谓语动词一般用过去时态。然而，根据实际情况，也可用其他时态。例如：

注意：表示习惯性的动作，客观事实、普遍真理、名言或谚语时，常用一般现在时。

从文昌院出来，大概走了十多分钟就看到了十七孔桥，在桥的旁边有一个很大的亭子。桥栏杆上有上百根石柱，上面都雕刻着小狮子。我数了一下桥下面的洞，真的有十七个桥洞。

长廊是北京颐和园最有名的了。一路走来一边看着横栏上的画，一边吃着棒棒糖，觉得好满足。如你去过长廊，那我就要问你一个问题，请问这一路走来长廊都是笔直的吗？你可能会觉得应该是的，但是我告诉你，这长廊是根据山路造的，你觉得直是因为这长廊有顶，再加上你一直都在看两边的风景，没有注意。

别看番茄炒蛋简单，但是在我眼里很难。

中午，我和妈妈一起去菜场买菜，买了五元钱的鸡蛋和四个番茄。回到家里，妈妈让我打鸡蛋。一开始，我把鸡蛋打出了碗外，我就用抹布把打出碗外的鸡蛋擦干净，又开始打鸡蛋了。打完鸡蛋，我把番茄切成小块，慢慢地把食用油倒入锅中。我听到了“噼里啪啦”的声音，我很好奇，便走近看，原来是锅中的食用油沸腾了。锅中的油向四周飞溅，一滴油溅到我的手上，烫得我直叫。妈妈说，用冷水冲一冲就不烫了。于是我赶紧用冷水冲，果然缓解了疼痛。然后，我把切好的番茄倒入锅中，不停地翻炒，等快熟时，倒入打好的鸡蛋，再翻炒几下。很快，香喷喷的番茄炒蛋就出锅了。
