Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is coming. Its a traditional North

American holiday,and is a form of harvest festival. In the United States, the

fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving was about

the Pilgrims, the first settlers in America. They shared the first harvest with

the Indians and gave thanks.

Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day. People always celebrate with big

dinners and happy reunions. Pumpkin pie and Indian pudding are traditional

Thanksgiving desserts. Relatives from other cities, students who have been away

at school, and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday

at home.

On that day, Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed

during the year. And I am sure that we all must have a lot to be thankful for.

暑假里，妈妈带着我去西安、华山旅游，是随教我书法的黄埔书苑的张老师一起去的，团里有大大小小14个小朋友，一路上很热闹。我们是第一次坐卧铺火车，而且在火车上过夜，觉得既新鲜又激动，起初我兴奋得睡不着，后来在列车晃晃悠悠的颠簸中，终于迷迷糊糊地睡着了。

旅行的第一站是著名的“五岳”之一——西岳华山，它有东、西、南、北、中五座峰。导游告诉我们：自古华山一条路，华山以险峻闻名天下。我们先坐缆车到达北峰，从那里向上爬，向西峰进军。山路有点陡峭，我身轻如燕，爬得很轻松，妈妈可就不行了，她一路气喘吁吁的。可惜导游给的时间太短，我们来不及爬到西峰顶，爬了一半就匆匆下山了。

第二天我们到达西安市区，接下来的几天时光，陆续游览了秦陵兵马俑、乾陵、华清池、大唐芙蓉园、法门寺、碑林博物馆、钟鼓楼广场、大雁塔广场……天气炎热，我经常被晒得汗流浃背，可沿途的景观让我大开眼界。秦陵是秦朝皇帝秦始皇的墓，乾陵是唐朝武则天和她的丈夫唐高宗李治的合葬墓，武则天可是中国历史上唯一的一位女皇帝啊，好厉害！这两座陵墓至今都没有被挖掘，兵马俑只不过是秦陵的冰山一角，被称为“世界第八大奇迹”。好期待它们有朝一日从深藏的地底下被挖出土，不知会有多少文物宝藏啊。

令我最难忘的，是张老师在碑林博物馆里给我们讲解石碑书法，那些石碑是历朝历代的书法名家真迹，其中颜勤礼碑正是我们学习颜体字的根源，张老师让我们一齐给祖师爷叩拜；最开心的是在钟鼓楼广场上，与几个小伙伴一起放飞“飞天仙子”，听导游介绍，钟鼓楼广场是西安市的中心，也是全国的中心；最美味的，是在回民一条街上吃陕西的各式特色小吃，回民一条街上人来人往，熙熙攘攘，我爱吃BiangBiang面和炒酸奶，现在回想起来还滋味无穷；最遗憾的是没能参观成陕西省历史博物馆，陕博是全国最著名的博物馆，馆藏非常丰富，但因为门口排队等候的游客太多了，博物馆停止售票，我们只好依依不舍地离开了；收获最大的是在火车上我与小朋友们学会了打扑克牌，什么“斗地主”、“抽乌龟”、“跑得快”，玩得不亦乐乎。

六天五夜的西安、华山之旅结束了，回到家里，在妈妈的帮助下，我描绘出了西安旅游景点分布图。张老师常对我们说：要读万卷书行万里路。我希望今后的假期里，继续游览祖国各地的大好河山！

Yesterday was Tree Planting Day. The teachers asked us to plant trees at

the corner of our playground. At 3:00 in the afternoon, we got there.

Our teacher showed us how to plant trees,then we started to do it. Some dug

the pits, some put trees in them and others watered them. We planted a lot of

trees. When we finished our work, it was nearly dark.

It was the first day of our winter holiday. All of us were very happy. Why?

Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we

have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we

can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In

winter holidays, I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to

replenish myself. Last but not the least, I will have a good rest.

经过1个多小时的车程我们终于到达了盈香生态园，排好队伍后我们就来到了一个地方，那里有铁索桥、独木桥……等等。之后我们又去玩了机动游戏。最后我们去了一个“鸟巢”里面是种植物的

今天我们一家人来到著名的云南石林游玩。

这里奇峰怒拔，怪石嶙峋，气象万千。即使踏遍了整个欧洲，赏尽了意大利山水地貌之胜的旅行家，到此也不能不叹为观止。所以人们把石林称之为“天下第一奇观”。

如果从高处往下望，仿佛是盘古用巨斧劈断了的座座山峰，留下了一道又一道痕迹;又仿佛是女娲为了预防天空向西倾斜，竖起一堆堆石柱、石梁。

石林的面目往往因观赏位置的不同以及昼夜晴雨交替的变幻而有所变化。从整体看，有的像一座座古城;有的像万千铁骑;有的像十级火箭;也有的像恐龙直立。

其中最引人注目的一柱巨石，恰如美丽勇敢的姑娘阿诗玛，她那种面对邪恶势力而坚贞不屈的神态和英俊栩栩如生，这令人肃然起敬。难怪历代有无数青年男女在此徘徊、留恋、沉思。据一位撒尼歌手说，每座石峰都有不同的来历和传说，这就赋予了各个石峰以性格，让游客浮想联翩。

I have rested for a week。 I began to feel bored。 So I went out with my friends。 They are my best friends in the middle school。 We didn’t go to someplace special。 We just saw the other。 We had lunch together。 While we were having lunch， we were still talking about the new school and new friends。 Yes! A year later， we have grown riper。 And we learned much more things and got new life。 We haven’t enough time to play， to waste and to lose the way。 We only have two years。 Two years to go， we will get the real life which belongs to us。

假期里我和爸爸来到了我国的首都——北京游玩。

到了北京，我亢奋得不得了，我终于来到了北京!“我爱北京天安门，天安门上太阳升……”哼着耳熟能详的曲调，我和爸爸来到了北京的中心——天安门广场。来到这里，我深深感受到了天安门的古与今。

天安门很古老，北京曾是四朝古都，金朝、元朝、明朝、清朝都在这里建过皇宫，现在留存下来的故宫，就是明朝的紫禁城，我和爸爸走过去，首先映入眼帘的就是两只石狮子。凶猛的石狮子怒吼着，好像在保卫天安门。再往里，左右两座华表直立着，上面雕着龙的花纹，十分气派。

金水河缓缓流淌，五座金水桥玲珑别致很漂亮。我走进天安门，不禁感叹：“这门多厚哇!”爸爸说：“大约有二十人才能推动吧!”四处走走，到处都是红墙黄瓦，屋檐上，围栏上都是神态各异的神兽，一种伤感不由地从我的心中升起：“古代人是多么迷信啊!可这么多石狮子、石貔貅、石仙鹤、石玄武都没能挡住八国联军的枪炮。”观望着有些掉了漆的红墙，似乎还能感受到以前的兴与衰。

天安门也很现代，遥望天安门，上面挂着一枚大大的国徽，金光灿灿，正中央挂着一幅主席像，像中，伟大的主席正微笑着。两旁挂着两幅标语，上面写着：“中华人民共和国万岁!世界人民大团结万岁!”城墙上插着许多国旗，国旗迎风飘扬，作为中国人，我感到无比自豪。在天安门广场中央矗立着人民英雄纪念碑，上面是主席亲笔题写的“人民英雄永垂不朽”，在这行云流水的字里，我感到了主席的英雄气概与人民英雄的精神!人民大会堂、中国国家博物馆巍峨壮丽。

夜晚的天安门还有灯光和喷泉，美不胜收，令我心神陶醉。

这次北京行，使我更加热爱北京，热爱中国!

”清晨，我站在高高的山岗上……“这首歌是韩红唱的《天路》，是写青藏高原的。而我这次正要去青海的青藏高原。

青藏高原位于青海省境内。暑假，我坐火车到青海省西宁市旅游，青海还真有好多”宝藏“呢!我们从西宁出发，第一站到了一条河边停了下来。”这水怎么这样流啊?“弟弟下了车后的疑问引起了我的注意。我跑去一看，呀!就是，河不都是向东方流的吗?而这条河是向西方流动的，这水是什么动力让它反方向流动的呢?妈妈听见我的问题，赶紧过来说：”这条河名叫倒淌河，但具体它为什么这么流动，我还真不知道。“原来所有的我见过的河流都是向东流动，但这里的河水却向西流动，好神奇呀!青海竟有这种这么怪的河流，我以前一点也不知道，真是行万里路，读万卷书呀。

随着车队，我们来到了日月山，我跑向山顶，但是很费劲，因为青藏高原的海拔很高，但我还是跑到了山顶。我伸开双臂，风轻拂我的全身，我尽情享受这美景。我喜欢那山，一座一座，连绵起伏，直插云霄。这山，全身翠绿，被白云笼罩，白云围绕山顶，好似烟雾，我此刻就像传说中的神仙一样。这么壮观的情景，我怎么能不喜欢呢?我站在山顶上，看这美景，让我流连忘返。

最后我们的目的地——青海湖到了。它在山的环抱中，旁边是金灿灿的油菜花，那湖水清澈见底，波光粼粼的湖水碧波荡漾。我忍不住张开双手，仿佛来到了最美的世界，轻风拂面，水声哗哗的流，我眼前的美景，好似一幅油画。

我在草原上骑马，有如一只飞翔的鸟。那绿色满地的草原、树林，那白云缠绕、错落有致的山，那碧波荡漾﹑清澈见底的湖水，那金灿灿的油菜花，那飞翔的骏马……都让我流连忘返，目不暇接。

我喜欢这绿树遍被的高山，喜欢那绿树成荫的树林，喜欢那无边无际的青海湖。青海，有我喜欢的山水，有那飞翔的马儿，有那金灿灿的油菜花，让我回味无穷。青海，让我魂牵梦萦的地方。

在广州市海珠区的珠江边上，有一座高高的广州塔，它成为了广州市最高的建筑。

早晨，晨雾环绕着它。它的外观是钢灰色的。

晚上，广州塔的灯光一闪一闪的，一会儿蓝色，一会儿紫色，一会儿红色，一会儿绿色……还有时候会变成彩色的。

年尾，广州塔的外表变成了棕色，上面还用灯光营造出白色的数字。2013年年末的那一天，我们和广州塔一起倒我们和广州塔一起倒数：“8、7、6、5、4、3、2、1”，迎接新年的到来。

广州塔真高啊!广州塔真美啊!

今天阳光明媚、万里无云，太阳照在身上真暖和!我和妈妈一大早来到龙潭公园，一进园就听到了水流声，我们一直沿着水流声来到一座石头铺成的石桥。又听到小鸟叽叽喳喳的叫声，我看到一只小鸟从这块石头跳到那块石头，小鸟玩得可真开心。前面有几个老奶奶在唱歌，唱的不太好听。小河边有一个小朋友在吃棉花糖，妈妈问她：“小朋友，你哪里买的棉花糖呀?”小朋友说：“一直走，再往左转。”我们就按她说的路线走，果然买到了棉花糖。吃完棉花糖，我们去打包甜酸排骨，穿过一片草地，有的人在草地上放风筝、有的人在帐篷里玩，还有的人在踢球。

龙潭公园的人可真多呀!虽然很累，也很开心，下次我还要来玩!

Lying at the center of Beijing, the Forbidden City, called Gu Gong, in Chinese, was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now known as the Palace Museum, it is to the north of Tiananmen Square. Rectangular in shape, it is the worlds largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall are 9,999 buildings. The wall has a gate on each side. Opposite the Tiananmen Gate, to the north is the Gate of Devine Might (Shenwumen), which faces Jingshan Park. The distance between these two gates is 960 meters, while the distance between the gates in the east and west walls is 750 meters. There are unique and delicately structured towers on each of the four corners of the curtain wall. These afford views over both the palace and the city outside. The Forbidden City is divided into two parts. The southern section, or the Outer Court was where the emperor exercised his supreme power over the nation. The northern section, or the Inner Court was where he lived with his royal family. Until 1924 when the last emperor of China was driven from the Inner Court, fourteen emperors of the Ming dynasty and ten emperors of the Qing dynasty had reigned here. Having been the imperial palace for some five centuries, it houses numerous rare treasures and curiosities. Listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987, the Palace Museum is now one of the most popular tourist attractions world wide.

Construction of the palace complex began in 1407, the 5th year of the Yongle reign of the third emperor of the Ming dynasty. It was completed fourteen years later in 1420. It was said that a million workers including one hundred thousand artisans were driven into the long-term hard labor. Stone needed was quarried from Fangshan, a suburb of Beijing. It was said a well was dug every fifty meters along the road in order to pour water onto the road in winter to slide huge stones on ice into the city. Huge amounts of timber and other materials were freighted from faraway provinces. Ancient Chinese people displayed their very considerable skills in building the Forbidden City. Take the grand red city wall for example. It has an 8.6 meters wide base reducing to 6.66 meters wide at the top. The angular shape of the wall totally frustrates attempts to climb it. The bricks were made from white lime and glutinous rice while the cement is made from glutinous rice and egg whites. These incredible materials make the wall extraordinarily strong.

Since yellow is the symbol of the royal family, it is the dominant color in the Forbidden City. Roofs are built with yellow glazed tiles; decorations in the palace are painted yellow; even the bricks on the ground are made yellow by a special process. However, there is one exception. Wenyuange, the royal library, has a black roof. The reason is that it was believed black represented water then and could extinguish fire.

Nowadays, the Forbidden City, or the Palace Museum is open to tourists from home and abroad. Splendid painted decoration on these royal architectural wonders, the grand and deluxe halls, with their surprisingly magnificent treasures will certainly satisfy "modern civilians".

这个周末我和爸爸，妈妈还有爸爸的朋友们一起去了东大温泉度假村。周五放学回来，我就写作业。因为妈妈说作业不做完，是不允许我去的。所以我一直写到快11点，我把所有的作业都做完了，才睡觉。

第二天，一大早我就醒来了。妈妈把我们的行李都收拾好了。吃过饭，我们就出发了，不到一个小时，我们三辆车就来到了东大。路上我睡着了，没看到什么风景，我昨天睡的太晚，今天又起的太早，一上车就困的睡着了。爸爸和叔叔们先把我们的房间安排好，我和妈妈把行李放到房间里，拿上了泳衣和吃的东西。就下楼去泡温泉了。我特别喜欢水，夏天的时候，我每个星期都要去游泳。前一段时间妈妈还带我去了蓝田的汤峪。我玩的可开心了。不知道这个地方的温泉好不好。今天的天气特别的冷，我们穿着厚厚的棉衣还有点哆嗦呢。爸爸说：“没关系，男子汉就应该锻炼一下耐力。”换好衣服后，我们就来到了温泉边，真是太好了，水很烫，我和丫丫姐姐，诚诚弟弟一起玩。这里有很多的池子，有大的，有小的，还有一个儿童水上乐园。我游了一会儿泳，但是水温有点高，我觉得特别的累，不像我夏天游泳，怎么都不觉得累。妈妈说热水特别消耗人的体力。我就游一会儿休息一会儿，从水里出来的时候真的冷死了。可是我不怕，我要做男子汉。我还在沙疗里玩了一会儿沙子。但是我发现这里的温泉水不是蓝色的，是绿色的，还有很大的热气，看远处是什么都看不见。像神仙一样。哈哈!我还没有玩尽兴呢，就被爸爸和叔叔阿姨们叫走了。天都黑了。等我们收拾好来到餐厅的时候，我都快饿死了。唏哩呼噜的吃完饭我就和丫丫姐姐，弟弟一起去房间看动画片了。这一天就这样过完了，我真的特别的累，但是也特别的开心和放松。

今天，我和妈妈终于来到这闻名的大吴哥窟玩。

我们一进到大吴哥的城门，许多的景点就呈现在我们的眼前，它们各有各的风采和特点，让我惊喜不已。最后我们停在了美丽的是八戎庙，八戎庙上有上百个栩栩如生的雕像，它们有的微笑，有的苦笑，有的屹立在山顶上，有的座落在石梯旁……

笑得最灿烂最迷人的要数高棉的微笑了，它那大大的眼睛，轩昴的眉宇，中稳的鼻梁，厚厚的嘴唇，让人感到和蔼可亲，还有它的头顶刻着亮丽的复杂的花纹，让人感动美丽，止不住惊叹，在阳光的照耀下，更加迷人。我和妈妈都忍不住停在它面前，与它合影。

到了中午，我们恋恋不舍地离开了大吴哥。

I went shopping with Li Mei. We left at 10 oclock in the morning. When we
