I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations.

十一长假，爸爸开车，我们回浙江外公外婆家玩，10月3日中午，骄阳似火。我和爸爸、妈妈、哥哥、姐姐还有妈妈的两位同学阿姨一起去新登爬那里出名的百丈山。吃完午饭以后，我妈妈给我买了杯奶茶，然后喝着奶茶，我们一行8人浩浩荡荡向山脚出发。到了山脚下，我向山顶望去，一座电视塔远远地矗立在山顶上，看上去就像一根火柴棍那么小，感觉到遥不可及，想起来就想打退堂鼓。哥哥为我加油，说如果我累了，可以帮我。

刚开始爬山时，我就被山路两边的风景给迷住了，一会儿是裸露的岩石，一会儿是茂密的竹林，耳边是清脆欢快的鸟叫声，鼻子里偶尔可以闻到阵阵的花香。

一开始时走的是弯弯曲曲的比较平的山路，走了好大一会儿，来到了由陡峭的阶梯组成的山路，望上去一眼看不到头，看到那么高我就又想放弃了，这时候阿姨说，爬到山顶的人我就可以给他买冰棍吃，一想到这里，我的口水就要下来了。哥哥看到我有点累了，于是他就背起我往山顶沿着台阶爬，爬了一会儿，我觉得他也累了，于是下来跟着他一块爬。

看着台阶上的数字100，200，……700，一个个都被我们甩到了身后。终于爬到了山顶。原来像火柴棍一样的电视台现在在眼前像一栋高楼一样高大。我们一边吃冰棍，一边吹着山顶的凉风，一边欣赏山脚下的新登城市，原来的山脚下的大楼看过去就像密密麻麻的蚂蚁一样。下山的路是在山的另外一边，台阶更多，不过没有上山那么累。下了山之后，我再一次望向了电视塔，它又变的那么小。真不相信，我竟然跟着大家走了那么远的路，爬了那么高的山。

爸爸告诉我，其实做很多事情都是像爬山一样，看上去很难，但只要坚定了信念，坚持下去，其实也没有想象的那么难。

读万卷书不如行万里路。今年国庆假期，我们全家一起去了扬州和苏州游玩。

“故人西辞黄鹤楼，烟花三月下扬州。”扬州在我印象里就是个美丽的地方。在扬州，我们去了瘦西湖。名字叫“湖”，可它看上去一点也不像湖，反而像一条长长的，蜿蜒流淌的河。两岸的风景如画，柳树那翠绿的枝条垂下来，真像一位美丽的少女坐在水边，梳理她丝带般美丽的长发。树下一片一片的花圃，一缕清风吹过，各种颜色的花瓣迎着风翩翩起舞，好看极了！

离开扬州，我们又来到了苏州同里古镇。镇子里到处都是白墙灰瓦的房子和一座座横跨在河岸上的小桥。我们漫步在古镇的街道上，闻着空气中甜甜的花香，看着小河里水波荡漾。河两岸的大树，又高又大，树枝伸向天空，接在一起，像搭起了一个天然的凉棚……

这次江苏之行虽然短暂，但是很快乐，唯一遗憾的是人太多了。小小的苏州园林里人山人海，没办法好好欣赏风景。不过我还是很开心，因为我已经感受到了扬州和苏州的美丽。真希望下次有机会再来。

黄山的风景的确很美，从山上向山下俯视，景色即壮观，又让人捏了一把冷汗。似乎一不小心就可以掉下去。峡谷上云雾弥漫，仿佛连天上的白云都在你的脚下一样。但一抬头天上的白云还在那儿里。黄山上的景观是不少，可是我倒没有看多少的东西，只看了西海大峡谷，笔下生花和飞来石。因为爬山太累了，我实在爬不上去了。到西海大峡谷的时候，我们向下俯视的时候，还是有一点害怕的。因为太高了，以可以用深不见底来形容了。峡谷下面到处是郁郁葱葱的书和草，还有白白的云，飘呀飘呀——让人心旷神怡的。

飞来石就是一块石头立在一块石头上。所以叫做飞来石。笔下生花，是一个类似毛笔笔尖的一块石头的尖尖上有一些树，所以叫笔下生花。

回到家中，我缠着爸爸教我做饭。在爸爸的指导下，我顺利的完成了我人生的第一道菜，色、香、味俱全，绝对有大厨风范。有一个上午，我一个人独自在家完成了作业，我觉得应该为爸爸、妈妈做一顿午餐了。我挥舞着硕大的菜刀，把菜变成了我想要的形状，倒油下锅、下菜翻炒，一开始都很顺利，可不久致命的问题出现了，妈妈把醋和酱油放在同样的两个小瓶中，我找不到想要的酱油，菜马上要糊了，我就猜了一个红色的小瓶点了几滴黑乎乎的液体，菜当然顺利的出锅了。妈妈回家后看到香喷喷的饭，激动的不得了，不过我也从妈妈的口中得知红色的小瓶里装的是醋，不过我尝了尝，味道还不错。看来，享受自己的劳动成果是一件非常快乐的事啊！

我利用这个假期，学习了硬笔书法，每天上午在横竖撇捺折中愉快的度过。每天下午则是我的运动专场，在乒乓球场挥洒汗水。这个暑假，我过的既充实又愉快。难忘的假期即将结束，希望同学们在新的学期中好好学习，天天向上！

early in senior high school, we longed to be enrolled in a university. now the dream has come true. but how do we college students like our campus life?

certainly, some relish it, finding it colorful and rewarding. besides study, they spend considerable amount of time improving themselves in various aspect. yet others do not think much of their college life, thus do not benefit as much. in their eyes, the university is just a bigger high school. the only difference is that they have more time at their disposal without parents looking over their shoulder.

as to me, college life is ideal if only i have abundant books to read, some bosom friends to keep me company, a couple of conscientious professors to instruct me, and an easy access to the internet.

早在高中，我们就渴望进入大学。现在梦想成真了。但是我们大学生喜欢我们的校园生活吗？

当然，有些人喜欢它，觉得它丰富多彩，很有回报。除了学习，他们还花了大量的时间在各个方面提高自己。然而，其他人对他们的大学生活不怎么重视，因此也没有那么多的益处。在他们看来，这所大学只是一所更大的高中。唯一的区别是，他们有更多的时间可以自由支配，而父母则不必回头看。

每天总是等到太阳当空的时候，我才懒洋洋地起床，不经意发现，都快十点了。每天趴在电视机前，好像与电视融为一体的我，当被父母督促着去写作业的时候，心里的不快内心的不情愿，对电视的恋恋不舍使我暴躁地乱发脾气。猛然抬头看时，太阳已经下山了，天骤然间黑下来，零星的星星挂在天上，发出黯淡的光。

一天就这样过去了，大好的青春时光就这样被浪费了，我不甘心，我痛恨，当我对时间的消逝感到惋惜时，我的假期生活快要结束了。

看到才做了几页的寒假作业本，看到空空的作文题目，我感受到了心急如焚的滋味，我尝到了心如刀割的痛苦。想到这里，我的心上像有一块石头，压得我喘不过气来。我愧对这些书本，愧对我的老师，愧对我父母。

“盛年不重来，一日难再晨，及时当勉励，岁月有饶人。”无情的时间不会在任何人面前停留，它不曾多给我一秒钟，也不曾少给我一分钟。时间就像天际划过的一颗流星，只有你把握住了，它才会为你所用。这个假期我失去了，我失去了大好的光阴，但是，我会尽我最大的努力，去弥补这个假期我所失去的，把丢失的东西找回来。

虽然这个假期过去了，几乎一无所获，但我也深刻感受到了时间给我的教训。我明白了，时间就像离弦的箭，只要放出去，就一刻也不会停留。这也许能算是一点收获吧。

在离开学还有十来天的时候，我迷上了篮球。

记得那时候，要不是孙浩天要打篮球的话，我就会忘了家里面还有篮球。这不，下午，我抱着篮球到北山的操场上。刚进去就瞅见他了，便飞奔过去。

我和孙浩天各投五次球。他投进去四个，我投进去零个。我不服气，又让各投八个。我进了一个，他进了六个。没想到，蹦起来才比我高 一毫米 的孙浩天竟投的比我多。问他，原来练过啊！再说了，我是个刚摸篮球的人，肯定比不过他啦。但为了挽回面子，我拼命的投，投啊投……终于投进了一个没碰住任何东西的——空投。直到夜幕降临，我们才回家。

第二天，情境好转了一些，我投进了七个，其中有两个空投。他投进了二十个，有一个空投。我刚上去就进了一个，但第二次孙浩天在我旁边捣乱，所以没投进。他投时，我也捣乱了，可对他丝毫没有影响，接着，他连续投进了九个！唉，果然比不上他呀！

I read a piece of news recently. It says that in Japan marly businessmen ave selling fresh air to customers.and now it is becoming more and more popular. Why? --Fresh air is getting less and less in Japan, and so is it in the U. S. A.

In fact, environmental pollution is a very serious problem the whole world is facing.

it is mainly caused by the waste products released from artificial substances, industrial

production and increased consumption of goods. Bedsides, the use of chemical substances

in agriculture also causes environmental pollution. Look at the sky, you can see that dense smoke is being released from the high and big chimneys; those dirty and poisonous substances are flowing into the rivers that we use for drinking water and millions of tons of waste products are heaping around us.

How to change this condition? More and more countries are trying to work out some effective means to bring it under control, but no great success has been made.

环境污染

最近我读了一则消息说在日本，许多商人向顾客出售新鲜空气，现在这种情况越演越烈，Environmental Pollution-环境污染，四六级写作《Environmental Pollution-环境污染》。为什么呢? 因为在日本新鲜空气越来越少，在美国也是如此。

事实上，环境污染是整个世界正在面临的一个严重问题。这主要是由于人造物质，工业生产过程中所产生的废料以及消费商品的增长造成的。另外，在农业中使用化学物品也造成了环境污染。看看天空，你可以看到浓烟从高大的烟囱中释放出来，这些脏而有毒的物质流入我们赖以饮水的河流，数百万吨废物正堆积在我们周围。
