It is a book written in 1852 in response to the passage of the Fugitive Slave Law， Uncle Toms Cabin has been considered as the most influential anti-slavery novel in that period and described by Stowe herself as a “series of sketches” describing the human cruelty of slavery， opens with a description of Arthur Shelbys Kentucky plantation during the antebellum period.

In the book， at the beginning， the author presents us a very beautiful image of a rather harmonious family who live a happy life. However， that beautiful image couldnt last long， the darkness came soon. The master of this happy family， Uncle Tom was arranged into a difficult situation. As Shelby， the not cruel master， he has incurred serious debts- prompting him sell some slaves to avoid financial ruin， so Uncle Tom， Shelbys loyal servant since childhood was sold to Mr. Haley， the slave trader. Uncle Tom remained loyal to his master， despite his betrayal and the risk of death at the cruel hands of a new master. The slaves at the plantation were very mournful， but Tom remained placid and tried to read his Bible for fort. On the steamboat to New Orleans， where Tom was to be sold， Tom befriended an angelic little girl， “Little Eva” St. Clare. Uncle Tom saved the five-year-old beauty from drowning， and she convinced her father to buy Tom for her own family. In her family， Tom enjoye.

As we all can see that Uncle Toms Cabin was an anti-slavery novel and it was even considered as one factor that caused the Civil War. In the novel， the slaves were sold from one place to another frequently， and their fate was tragic， with no exception- just like Uncle Tom， no matter he was under the control of kind masters or evil masters， he cant escape the misfortune of being sold from one master to another. We cant see any human right of them， so terrible.

As someone said， with more people realizing the inhumanity of slavery in the 19th century， slavery became one of the most important issues and it became more violent year by year in American society. However， slavery was not abolished irrevocably until ratification of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution in 1865， following the Civil War. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. Not long ago I just read the English version of "Diary of Anne Frank." In fact, this is not the first time I read this book. When I first read it in elementary school, and read the Chinese version. Then still small, still can not read, that means nothing. Now it seems there feeling very deeply.

Anne Frank was a Jewish girl. She could and ordinary girl, living a happy life, but she was not hiding different parents attic. Anne all day hiding in dark little attic to escape the Nazis killing. She could not get close to nature, can not be friends like before play. In the shadow of the shadow of death, Anne only keep a diary to get through tough every day. 越王勾践卧薪尝胆，反败为胜的故事，早已传为千古佳话，而大仲马笔下的埃德蒙？唐代斯，则又是一个成功男子汉的写照。暑假里，我有幸阅读了《基督山伯爵》这部书，它带给我一种别样的感受，让我回味无穷。

《基督山伯爵》这部书，主要刻画了埃德蒙？唐代斯这个人物，他原本是一个船长，因遭人陷害而入狱，在狱中，他结识了一位博览群书的老者，并与之结为挚友。在老者的分析下，唐代斯恍然明白了自己入狱的原因，并认清了让他沦落到这样境地的几位阴险之徒的真面目，老人在病死前告诉了他基督山宝藏埋藏的地点。在唐代斯成功从狱中逃脱后，他找到宝藏，回到了故乡，在许多善良的人的帮助下，成功复仇。

读完此书，我的感触颇深。有的人像螃蟹一样：为了站到高处去看美丽的风景，从同样的起点开始爬墙，一些螃蟹爬的快，爬在了领先的位置。眼看着，就要爬上了墙，那些在下面的、爬不上去的，就把它扯下来，摔个粉身碎骨，自己反而“升高”了一大截。这些现象都在大仲马代表作《基督山伯爵》中有所体现，丹拉格尔因看比自己年轻有为的唐代斯眼红，就把他陷害至狱中十四年，因唐代斯凭借着顽强的毅力和善良完好的人格，出狱后反而得到了天价财宝，并为自己赎了罪，报了仇。

在我们的生活中，既有像丹拉格尔这样的人，在你飞黄腾达，马上要迎接幸福时，这些小人就暴露本相，像底层的螃蟹一样，它伸钳子把你甩下来。也有像菲尔南这样的人物（他是主人公爱人的堂哥），心存善念，只要我们晓之以理，动之以情，消除误会和隔阂，他们就不会成为坏人的帮凶。

而唐代斯的勇气与宽容也深深打动了我，正是凭着顽强的毅力，唐代斯才能克服重重困难，当最后复仇的机会来临时，他并没有杀死丹拉格尔，足见他的宽容与大度，可以说他的故事始于仇恨，却最终超越了仇恨。能用一颗宽容的心去饶恕那些作恶的人，不就是最大的美德吗？

唐代斯曾说过：“在这世界上，既无所谓幸福，也无所谓不幸，只有一种状况和另一种状况的比较，如此而已。”如果没有狱中老人给他的爱，他就不可能摆脱困境，重见天日。我们在日常生活中，在学习上，要学习唐代斯的坚强，时时刻刻都要充满信心，去努力奋斗，对待身边的人，更应该常怀宽容之心，尽力做好自己的事情，做个心胸坦荡之人。

I have seen the novels name --the Kite Runner many times from the Internet,when it comes to "the novels moved you most".With curiosity,I downloaded it.When reading the novel,from the beginning to the end,I felt a heavy stone of sorrow on my heart.

It is a story about friendship,about fault and atonement,about the good and evil of human natual.

The narrator of the story,Amir ,is born in a rich family.Hassan is his servant as well as close friend.They both lose mother from birth and grow up like brothers.

From Hassan ,I see the most kind and beautiful soul.He never means to hurt anyone.he protects Amir bravely and has a broad mind to endure what Amir do to him.With the promise to run the kite,he hands the last cut kite to Amir though he has insulted by the bully,Assef. for lifetime,he cherishes the friendship,even he dies of protecting Amirs house."For you,a thousand times over"he does as he says…

If Hassan can be described as an angel, then Amir is just a person.when he is a boy,he is badly want fathers love and care.he will be jealous,he will fear and be cowardly.When he sees Hassan insulted by Assef,he is so scared that he only hides and watches.he sees what happened but keeps it as a secret.In order to escape the guilt,he makes another fault, making Hassan leave by framing Hassan .Years past, he is still haunted by betraying his childhood friend.

I was shocked when the big secret reveals: Hassan is Amirs half brother,the son of his father and a sevants wife! Amirs father lives a torturing life,he is torn into two parts.He cant give Hassan the love in the name of a father,which is unfair to Hassan.That explains why he seems care little about Amir …

Knowing the truth,Amir has a painful struggle at the first,and finally chooses the right way,a way of atonement.He rescues Hassans orphan ,Sorhab,from Assefs hand.At that time,he faces up to Assefs fists,being a man not cowardly.Having gone though a lot of difficulties,he finally brings Sorhab to American.But Sorhab is emotional damaged by adversity.Amir make efforts to revive the little heart.At the end of the story,Sorhab shows a lopside smile,which delights Amir much.Amir run kite for Hassans son,and says what Hassan once said,"for you, a thousand times over".The snow will be melt,and the spring is coming…The ending is not clearly told,but full of hope.

I like the author written style.Theres paragraghs of internal monologues,warm memorys , sad plots,horrible war scenes…the words,sentences always catch me tightly,make me think,make me cry…Now if someone ask me what novels impressed me most,The Kite Runner will be an answer.
