今年，我的英语成绩下降了。爸爸妈妈便来分析原因。说是分析，其实是争辩。爸爸说我态度不好，没有认真记。妈妈说我努力了，只是没注重方法。我觉得他们说的都对，决定好好补习。爸爸严厉地说：“学习英语，不许偷懒。要做到多读、多背、多记。下次考不好小心挨打。”一段时间后，我只记住了几个单词，前面的有些又忘记了。妈妈就说：“学习英语，要反复复习。我们来制单词卡片。正面写英语，反面写汉语。我每天检查六个，没过关的放在新单词后面。”我用妈妈教我的方法，效果很好。

现在，我记住了很多单词。爸爸笑着说：“真不错！”妈妈连忙扼杀我的骄傲情绪，严厉地说：“后面还多着呢，还要坚持。”我只好认认真真补习。

爸爸和妈妈对我的爱是一样的，只是方式不同。小孩子要有爸爸妈妈的鼓励和严厉，才能成为有用之才。我就像一只风筝，爸爸和妈妈给我两种不同的爱，一种似风，把我送上蓝天让我飞翔；一种似线，控制住我的方向。
