No society views everything in its environment that is edible and might provide nurishment as food. Americans eat oysters but not snail. The French eat snails but not locusts. The Jews eat fish but not pork. The Hindus eat pork but not beef. The Russiand eat beef but not snake. We all have ideas about what kinds of food are good to eat. We also have ideas about what kinds of food are bad to eat. As a result, people from one culture often think the food that people from another culture eat are disgusting or nauseating. Dislike is not the only reason why some culture will not eat a certain food. In some clture, certain foods are taboo. 今天是中秋节。晚饭后，我和爸爸妈妈在小院里，一边品尝月饼，一边聊天赏月。

夜静悄悄的。深蓝色的天空，月亮好似圆盘，已不是平常的那种弯弯的小船了。它把一片片皎洁的光辉洒向大地。它不像太阳光那样耀眼、夺目，只是将自己的光轻轻地洒向小院的每一个角落。清风习习，我感到清爽怡人。一家人说说笑笑，让人感到温馨无比。

我看着那圆盘似的明月，体会着浓浓的亲情，我的心好像长了一对翅膀，飞向那无垠的夜空。

After finishing my homework I went to the Tai Mountian with my friends during my holiday. When we got near the Tai Mountain by buswe were very excited. We planned to get on the top of the Tai Mountain. Next we began to walk we to the foot of the mountian. There were many visitors there. And all of us enjoyed the beautiful views beside the steps. At last we reached the top.Not only we had a picnic there but also we took several picturestoo.

Though we were very tiredwe were very happy about that trip.

在一片茂密的大森林里，有一座小山坡，那里花儿香，草儿绿，住着两只活泼可爱的小野兔，一只浑身灰白色，叫“灰灰”。一只绒毛雪白，远看就像一个小绒球，它叫“白白”。

每天，小兔们都游手好闲，（词语不美，建议改为：在一起玩闹嬉戏）有一天它们看见了小猴在向牛伯伯炫耀自己的本领，灰灰见了对白白说：小猴子都有了本领，我们是不是也要学点什么？白白用力的点了点头。第二天它们就一起兴致勃勃去森林学校报了名。

开学前一天，灰灰和白白就迫不及待的背上了小书包，照着镜子，甜甜的笑了。

第二天，它们就兴高采烈的来到了森林学校，伴随着清脆悦耳的铃声响起，上课了，开始它们都很认真，可过了一会儿，白白就坐不住了。这时，窗外面传来熊老师带着学生们摔跤的声音，它忍不住向窗外望去，不时的咯咯笑，还小声的说：“加油——加油！”老师严肃的看了它一眼，白白红着脸，低下了头。

这时，放学铃声响了，灰灰和白白手牵手回到了家。灰灰专心致志写作业，认真完成老师交代的任务，白白却扔下书包跑去找小猫玩了。后来灰灰经过不断努力学习成了远近闻名的作家，白白确成了一名普普通通的农民。

这个故事让我懂得了：做任何事都要专心致志的道理。
