在去年的“联合杯”考试中，我的成绩很优秀，于是爸爸送给了我一个宠物。

那天我们先来到了宠物市场，那儿可真热闹呀，五彩的小鱼在水里嬉戏，调皮的小狗在欢快的吠叫，美丽的小鸟在笼子里歌唱。除此之外还有很多动物，可我一眼看中了一只珍珠熊。

珍珠熊小巧玲珑的身体上长着的毛犹如刚搽过油似的，闪闪发光，淡淡的眉毛下面长着一双黑色的西瓜籽儿一样大小的眼睛，乌黑发亮。小小的鼻子旁有八根飘舞在空中银白色小胡须，下面还有一个像兔子一样的三瓣嘴呢，红润的嘴唇里包着两排细小的像白玉一样的牙齿，可爱极了！

一回到家我就迫不及待的将珍珠熊放到了茶几上，在我给它喂卷心菜的时候，它竟然在我给它铺地木屑上打滚，你瞧，它先往右边斜一点，又往左边斜一点，然后就来了一个“就地十八滚”就像一个肉球似的。我觉得它十分的可爱，于是取了个名字叫“小可爱”。“小可爱”吃的主食是稻谷、干玉米等粗粮，还要喂它一种“石头药”，这种药有两大好处，一是能磨练珍珠熊的牙齿，二是能增强抵抗力，让它能健康的生长下去，我准备用我们给它买的卷心菜喂它，珍珠熊并不喝水，它是将卷心菜当作水的。

这是是我喜欢的珍珠熊，它带给我了许许多多的欢乐。

Orcas are not related to whales at all, other than being ocean-dwelling mammals. Rather, they are close kin to dolphins. While it was believed that they were a single species, recent research indicates that they may, in fact, be comprised of several different species of Orca. You can find them in every ocean in the world, though they tend to favor the colder waters around Antarctica and the North Atlantic or Pacific. The only predator they possess is humankind. While theres a deadly standoff between the two species, Orcas proliferate in the wild, and have an incredible life span. The males usually live as long as sixty or seventy years, while the females—who are excluded from the sometimes-violent competition for mates—may live a hundred years or more in the wild.

提起长颈鹿，你肯定不陌生。可你知道它的脖子长长的，这又是为什么吗？原来长颈鹿一开始并不像现在这样脖子长，后来因为自然界的变化，长颈鹿在地面上找不到食物。为了不被饿死，它就努力的伸长脖子，拼命够长在高处的东西吃，后来脖子变得越来越长。最后变成了现在这个样子。而那些没有伸长脖子去吃食物的长颈鹿就活活的饿死了。这也许就是书上说到的“优胜劣汰吧。”

二、解海马之谜：

海马，属于海洋生物，可以作为药材。可你知道是谁生下小海马的吗？你肯定说是海马妈妈。我的回答是：你错误！是海马爸爸生下小海马。有意思吧。至于为什么，我也建议大家到书中去找答案！

除了长颈鹿、海马，还有狮子、水牛、河马、大象等等，这些都让我感兴趣。为了给大家留下观察空间，我就不再一一细说它们有趣的事情了。但有一点我想告诉：只要细心观察，就会发现身边的动物的特征，解开许多疑惑。
