1、孔雀那小巧的头上像插着几朵翡翠花，展开的彩屏像一把巨大的羽毛扇，一个个黑环，黑、绿、黄相间，像是无数只大眼睛。

2、那只鸽子长着洁白如雪的羽毛，红褐色的小尖嘴，机灵的眼睛，细长的双腿，一双脚像鸡爪但却没有脚蹼。站在那里，亭亭玉立，简直像一位高雅华贵的夫人。 小白鸽站在那里不动的时候，简直就像商店里摆的工艺品。

3、小花猫早上起来先伸一下懒腰，然后再坐起来，用两只前爪在舌尖上舔一点唾沫，像人一样地洗着脸，再用舌头不停地舔着自己的毛皮，直到有一点光亮为止。

4、一对雪白的天鹅，像两朵硕大的白莲似的浮在水面上。

5、太阳鸟的嘴巴生得十分奇特，很像一把锥子，又尖又长，略微有点弯曲。

6、天鹅那白瓷一般光滑的羽毛，没有一丝杂质，就犹如一团浓墨泼上去，也会整个儿滚落下来，沾不上一星半点。

8、鸡吃了虫子，食袋子鼓得像小皮球，走路都摇摇摆摆的了。你看那些母鸡，脸巴下红红的，挺着大肚皮，“咯嗒咯嗒”，爬到草窝窝里生元宝去了。

9、这匹高头大马，浑身的每个部分都搭配得那么得当，每块肌肉都显示出力量，让人一看就觉得那么柔和，那么健美。

10、远处的湖面上有几只野鸭在游动着，就像一只只无线电操纵的小军舰，那么英武，那么雄壮。

11、金鸡有匀称的体型，矫健的双脚，头戴黄冠，颈部装饰着金黄色的“项圈”，两肩有金光灿烂的披肩。

12、在苇塘里，鸳鸯常将脖子伸得长长的，两翅展开拍击水面。一对对色彩斑斓、绚丽的鸳鸯在水中嬉戏、追逐、并肩畅游，时而发出“咕枣咕枣咕”的低沉而柔美的叫声，犹如情侣在窃窃私语。

13、水面上黑漆漆一群野鸭子，灿烂的羽毛，在夕阳的余辉下，像浮着一簇簇花环。

14、邻家的公鸡逃走了，我家的公鸡却带着胜利者的姿态，看起来活像一个凯旋的将军，在院子里不断地兜圈子，显威风。

15、那黑牛性子暴烈、凶恶，两眼大如乒乓球，红如火焰，头上两只尖角，利如锋刃。

16、金鸡张开翅膀站在太阳下，就像凤凰朝阳，浑身金亮金亮的，美丽极了。

17、那条小狗一身金黄色的毛，闪闪发亮，像刚刚擦过油似的。

18、这些奶牛，身上白一块黑一块的，犹如穿着花棉袄。

19、等打开鸡窝门，你看吧，这帮挣命的鸡，一点也不像鸭，不是谦让地文质彬彬地依次而出，而是挤挤擦擦，连飞带叫，各奔前程似的逃了。

20、兔子的耳朵又大又长，只要听见一点轻微的声音，就会“唰”地一下竖起来，灵巧地四面转动，寻找声音发出的地方，直到声音没有了，才恢复常态。

25、仙鹤站立时总是高高竖起身体，伸直脖子四下张望，常常站立许久。因此，人们常用“鹤立”、“鹤望”来形容戏剧舞蹈中引颈四望的优美姿态。

26、各家的鸡都来了，啊呀呀，红背心，绿尾巴，黄裤腿，羊蹄花，等等，挤挤嚷嚷一大片，像数不清的活蹦乱跳的鲜花。它们有的拍拍翅膀，在禾坪里赛跑；有的互相叩叩嘴，像多年不见面的老朋友一样。有的啄一口菜叶，喝一口水，口里唧吧唧吧，还假充斯文哩。

27、鹤群长距离飞行时，常常排成“V”形或“Y”等形。远远望去，飘飘然呈现出一副轻逸而潇洒的风姿。

28、刚出生的小猫，眼睛闭着，叫声细弱，浑身光秃秃的，好似一个会蠕动的肉团团。 满月以后，绒毛才全部长齐。有的颈圈是白色，四肢长满白毛，背部黑中杂有灰白，尾巴灰黑；有的从头到尾披一件油墨“大氅”，脚掌却是白色，人们说是良种，叫“乌云盖雪”；有的通体黄色，现虎斑纹，人们给它美名“金不换”；还有一身白毛配上一条黑毛尾巴的，被称为“雪里拖枪”。刚满月的猫离不开奶，走路也不稳。

29、这匹枣红马，长长的鬃毛披散着，跑起来，四只蹄子像不沾地似的。

30、微风吹动电线上两只小鸽那雪白的羽毛，这简直是两个刚出徒的小杂技演员在走钢丝呢，又像两个银色的音符镶嵌在五线谱上。 一群白色的鸽子在空中鸣啭，犹如在碧空中忽然下了一场洁白的六月雪。

36、小猫“咪咪”的那一双大耳朵，一天到晚都直竖着，哪个地方有声音，马上往那边转，活像一架有特殊性能的雷达。

37、鹦鹉的周身都毛茸茸的，腹部鹅黄和淡绿相间的绒毛纤细柔软，颜色由腹部向背部渐次变化，逐渐变成翠绿，深绿，墨绿。一双翅膀上还波动着条状的墨线。那一对圆圆的小眼睛不住忽闪着，乍到家时，总是怯怯地不敢妄动。

Sunrise at Sea

Ba Jin

I would often get up early to watch the sunrise when it was not yet quiet light and all was quiet except for the droning of the ship engine.

The sky was pale with a bluish blue. Soon a streak of pink dawn broke over the horizon，expanding gradually and becoming brighter and brighter. Knowing that the sun was about to rise, I had my eyes fixed on the distant edge of the sea.

As expected, the sun soon appeared revealing half of its face, which was very red but not bright It kept rising laboriously bit by bit as if weighted down with a heavy burden on its back until，after breaking through the rosy clouds;it completely emerged from the sea aglow with a lovely red. Then，before I knew it, the dark red orb began to shine blazingly, dazzling my eyes until they stung and all of a sudden lighting up the surrounding cloud.

Sometimes，hidden by the clouds, the sun nonetheless shed its rays straight onto the sea water, making it difficult for me to distinguish between the sky and the sea because what I saw in front of me was nothing but a wide expanse of brilliant light.

Sometimes, with thick layers of dark clouds hanging in the sky, the sun was hardly visible to the naked eye. But its radiance managed to show through the dark clouds to edge them with golden lace. Then, after gradually breaking through the tight encirclement, it came into full view and even dyed the dark clouds purple or scarlet. At the moment, apart from the sun，the clouds and the seawater, I too was luminous.

Wasnt that a marvelous spectacle?

我家新买了一缸金鱼。这缸金鱼可漂亮了！它们头上凸起，像戴着一顶大官帽；眼睛圆鼓鼓的，但小得出奇；可爱的小嘴一张一合，吐出一串串珍珠般的水泡来；身上披着鳞片，在阳光的照射下浑身金光闪闪，游动时一摇一摆，如同一位穿着金色铠甲、趾高气扬的将军；可爱的尾巴在清水里就像一朵朵透明的花，又像一只只蝴蝶在水中翩翩起舞。

我看着它们不停地在水中游动穿梭，快乐的样子，我很好奇：这些金鱼好像从来不用睡觉似的，不累吗？怎么不休息呢？为了解开疑惑，我开始了仔细的观察，并查阅有关的资料：原来金鱼是会睡觉的。因为它们没有眼睑，所以只能睁着眼睛睡觉。如果看到金鱼在岩石缝里一动不动，眼珠也不转动，只有鱼鳃盖不停地在一张一合，轻轻地翻动着，其实就是金鱼在睡觉。只不过它是属于浅度睡眠状态，所以一有动静，就会醒过来。

我终于知道了金鱼是会睡觉的，而且是怎样睡觉的，也明白了一个道理：留心处处皆学问！
