我家有只小白狗，它浑身长着雪白的毛，摸上去软绵绵的，像穿着一件干净的白毛衣；一对大眼睛咕碌碌直转，仿佛两颗黑宝石；头顶上长着对小耳朵，鼻子扁扁的，上面常常很湿润，奶奶说那是小狗健康的表现；尖尖的尾巴十分灵活，常常不停地左右摇晃，但是如果你弄痛了小白狗，它就会“汪汪汪”地叫，尾巴也夹在两腿间，真有点像书上说的“夹着尾巴逃跑”。我最喜欢看小白狗吃食了。一天，我拿了一块肉。小白狗看见了，围着我直转。我把肉向上一抛，小白狗纵身一跃，张开嘴巴一咬就准，然后它用前脚把肉按住，用牙一点一点地撕，吃得真是津津有味，一会儿就下了肚。吃完后，它还用舌头舔舔嘴巴，仿佛在回味刚才的美餐 。

热带鱼在鱼缸里每时每刻不停地游动，一会游到水面上，一会钻到水面下，有时热带鱼相互追赶，你追我，我追你，就好像我们上体育课参加跑步比赛一样。有时热带鱼还相互打闹，它用嘴咬你一下，你再用嘴咬它一下，在鱼缸里面相互嬉戏。

具体地说，描写小动物要注意以下两点：

一、描写外形样子和活动情况描写一种小动物

首先要描写它的外形样子，要仔细看它的头部、尾部、毛色、四肢 是什么样的，形状、特点、颜色是什么样的。

如下面写小狗一段的话：

1“星期天，我从姥姥家回来，在客车上，看到一个大姐姐用紫色的包拎着一只可爱的小黑狗。小黑狗头上长着一对像毛片片一样的三角形耳朵，软软的向下耷拉着，有趣极了。两只圆圆的黑眼睛不停地望着四周。圆圆的黑鼻头像个茸嘟嘟的小茸球。嘴巴紧紧地闭着，一声也不吭，多像一个不吵不闹的乖孩子啊！我真喜欢这只趴在包里的小黑狗。”这篇习作是一位仅上一年级的小学生写出的。文章虽短，却描述得很全面：时间、地点、所描写动物的样子及自己的喜爱之情。所有的比喻及修饰词都很形象、贴切。

3 描写小动物的样子侧重于静态描写，描写小动物活动情况，侧重于动态描写。按照从静态到动态有条理，有层次地观察和描写，可以把小动物写得清楚、细致、感人。请你阅读下面的作文：猴子我最喜欢猴子，它在动物中恐怕是最聪明的。当我们来到它们跟前时，一只猴子用明亮的眼睛盯着我们。它的长相很奇特：一个很小的鼻子向里凹着，一张凸起的小嘴发出‘吱吱’的叫声，浑身的毛不但亮而且黑里透黄。小耳朵竖着，两只小爪子不时挠着头皮，做出怪模样，使人发笑。我掏出一块面包丢给它，不料，它没有接，只是先用爪子试探了一下，又缩了回去，还用眼晴看看我。过了一会儿，它抓起面包，狼吞虎咽地吃起来，吃完后又用央求的目光看着我，伸出爪子向我要吃的，于是我又扔一块糖给它。它迅速地剥开糖纸，放入口中大嚼起来。读了这篇片段作文，小猴子的可爱的形象会栩栩如生地展示在我们面前。所以产生这样感人的效果，是由于小作者从静态——外形样子，动态——生活习性两方面仔细观察，认真描写的结果。

二、要把喜爱之情写进作文里作文是用我的手来写我的心。

小猫“咪咪”的那一双大耳朵，一天到晚都直竖着，哪个地方有声音，马上往那边转，活像一架有特殊性能的雷达。这只花猫的全身是白底黑斑，远看上去，像一团雪白的棉花点上了几滴墨汁。小猫鼻子下面有一张人字形的嘴巴，两旁有6根白色的胡须，常常一扇一扇的，挺神气。猫的胡子非常硬，像钢针一样，能量出洞口的尺寸。小黑猫长长的尾巴像小鞭子似的，左右摇摆。小猫有一对透亮灵活的大眼睛，黑黑的瞳仁还会变：早晨，像枣核；中午，就成了细线；夜里，却变成两只绿灯泡，圆溜溜的，闪闪发光。小花猫早上起来先伸一下懒腰，然后再坐起来，用两只前爪在舌尖上舔一点唾沫，像人一样地洗着脸，再用舌头不停地舔着自己的毛皮，直到有一点光亮为止。

那条小狗一身金黄色的毛，闪闪发亮，像刚刚擦过油似的。这只天真可爱的卷毛狮子狗，小黑尾巴一摆动起来，像个滚动的小绒球。那条小黑狗，一身乌黑发亮的皮毛，就像黑缎子一般油亮光滑；雪白的小爪儿，像4朵梅花；那条撅着的小尾巴，总是悠闲不停地摇摆着。那黑狗不吼不叫，像一个很有身分的武士，威严、老练，一动不动蹲在那里，雄纠纠张开胸脯上绒样的长毛。狗的叫声不像猫的咪咪声那样有气无力，也不像老虎的叫声那样恐怖，而是中气十足，使人听起来有雄壮干脆的感觉。这头大肥猪，屁股溜圆，肚子蛮大，由于脂肪过度丰富，它只得慢慢走着，好像架子很大的老爷。这只猪吃东西的时候，两个耳朵像大扇子一样一扇一扇的，脑袋一颠一颠的，眼睛紧紧地盯着食物。猪吃完食乖乖地走到圈里，懒洋洋地躺下了，还不时地哼哼两声，好一副心满意足的样子。

这匹马，全身皮毛黑发红，红中透亮，油光水滑，像刚从油缸里跳出来似的。这匹枣红马，长长的鬃毛披散着，跑起来，四只蹄子像不沾地似的。这匹高头大马，浑身的每个部分都搭配得那么得当，每块肌肉都显示出力量，让人一看就觉得那么柔和，那么健美。刹那间，“千里雪”平稳地腾到空中，简直像滑翔一般地飞过了深沟，轻轻地落在对岸，继续前奔。

小毛驴是那样惹人喜爱，黑眼珠滴滴溜溜乱转，撒起欢儿来像一只小鹿。“呱哒、呱哒、呱哒……”驴蹄声均匀而单调，像墙上那面挂钟的砣在摇摆。那头骡子仰着头，皮笼头上的红缨，像是秋雨里一朵艳红的鸡冠花。这些奶牛，身上白一块黑一块的，好像穿着花棉袄。

这条牛的两只眼睛像铜铃一样大，两只弯角青里透亮，特别是那一身黄毛，像绸子一样光亮。那黑牛性子暴烈、凶恶，两眼大如乒乓球，红如火焰，头上两只尖角，利如锋刃。

雪白的羊群撒在碧绿的草原上，像花、像云、像圣洁的哈达。草原上游荡的羊群像是一堆堆滚动的白银。暴风雪越来越猛，刮得羊群像棉花团似的滚动着。

一峰峰骆驼，在大漠的孤烟中慢慢移动着身影，像小舟在大海里航行，乘着风，迎着浪。骆驼的眼睫毛是双重的，当风起沙扬的时候，双重的眼睫毛像卫士似的，将沙挡住，不使它吹进眼里。

太阳鸟的嘴巴生得十分奇特，很像一把锥子，又尖又长，略微有点弯曲。太阳出来了，照在小鸟黄澄澄的羽毛上，全身变得金灿灿的，简直像神话中的金翅鸟一样。到了林中，百鸟的喧鸣，仿佛奏起一曲永不休止的乐章，连微微颤动的树叶都好像在歌唱着。金翅雀唱着、跳跃着，有时也扑打着，像一群不知疲倦的孩子，给这幽静的山庄更增添了情趣。这林子里的鸟什么颜色都有，什么声调都有。你听，高音的、中音的、粗嗓的、细嗓的，简直是各种流派的、各种声调的歌唱家，在这里举行着歌唱大比赛。

孔雀那小巧的头上像插着几朵翡翠花，展开的彩屏像一把巨大的羽毛扇，一个个黑环，黑、绿、黄相间，像是无数只大眼睛。只见一只花孔雀把尾巴抖得哗哗响，那漂亮的尾巴就像仙女手中的彩扇，慢慢散开，又像透亮的珍珠撒在它身上，非常美丽。孔雀飞起来就如同一朵绮丽的绿色彩云，从山顶上飘过。只见花孔雀拖在尾后的长长的羽毛都挺直起来，围成一个圆圈，像一把五颜六色的大花伞，又像一块圆形的彩缎。孔雀开屏时，犹如一把碧纱宫扇，尾羽上那些眼斑反射着光彩，好像无数面小镜子。那儿的孔雀多得出奇，路边上，野地里，三个一群，五个一伙，好像美人儿拖着翠色的长裙子，四处转游，根本也不避人。

那些天鹅用粉红色的脚掌划着湖水向前游，湖面上荡起一圈圈粼粼的波纹，远远望去好像一只只白色的帆船在水中荡来荡去，又像天上的朵朵白云映在水面上。白天鹅用红脚蹼使劲地划动着那绿色的湖水，身体就像一只小艇模型那样摇摇摆摆。天鹅那白瓷一般光滑的羽毛，没有一丝杂质，就好像一团浓墨泼上去，也会整个儿滚落下来，沾不上一星半点。一对雪白的天鹅，像两朵硕大的白莲似的浮在水面上。湖面上，当天鹅伸展着宽阔的双翼，引翅拍水行进时，犹如一叶叶的扁舟，一张张的风帆。宽阔的湖面上，成群洁白的天鹅，在悠闲地游荡，像朵朵白絮在随风漂流。湖面平静，水清见底，山光水色融为一体，洁白仿佛置身于仙境之间，流连忘返。天鹅时而挺脖昂首，神气如同将军；时而曲颈低头，闲雅胜似仙子。

当白鹤展开美丽的双翅，翩翩起舞的时候，那修长的双腿，那优雅的舞姿多么像杰出的“芭蕾舞大师”。漫空飞舞的丹顶鹤如早开的芦花，绵软地、慢悠悠地落在了沼泽地区。仙鹤是天生的舞蹈家。它们头顶鲜红，脖项修长，羽毛洁白，双腿纤细，真个是形体秀丽，举止潇洒，神采飘逸。丹顶鹤雪白的头上顶着鲜红的肉冠，像白金王冠上嵌着一颗夺目的红宝石。仙鹤站立时总是高高竖起身体，伸直脖子四下张望，常常站立许久。因此，人们常用“鹤立”、“鹤望”来形容戏剧舞蹈中引颈四望的优美姿态。鹤群长距离飞行时，常常排成“V”形或“Y”等形。远远望去，飘飘然呈现出一副轻逸而潇洒的风姿。水面上黑压压一群野鸭子，灿烂的羽毛，在夕阳的余辉下，像浮着一簇簇花环。

这些野鸭子都生着一个金翠色的头，亮晶晶的眼睛，颈上有一圈灰白色的羽毛，就像是每一只野鸭都戴上一串珍珠项圈似的。野鸭悠闲自在地浮着，一会儿跌入水底，一会儿又立在浪尖上，像孩子在打秋千。远处的湖面上有几只野鸭在游动着，就像一只只无线电操纵的小军舰，那么英武，那么雄壮。

那五色斑斓的野鸡，挺着胸，迈步走出草窝，像骄傲的将军。金鸡全身的羽毛色彩艳丽，油光发亮，就像披上了一件华贵的大礼服。金鸡张开翅膀站在太阳下，就像凤凰朝阳，浑身金亮金亮的，美丽极了。

金鸡有匀称的体型，矫健的双脚，头戴黄冠，颈部装饰着金黄色的“项圈”，两肩有金光灿烂的披肩。雄鸳鸯羽毛华美绚丽，背部褐色，腹部白色，头顶羽冠，眼后生有长长的白色眉纹，好像刚刚化过妆一样。在苇塘里，鸳鸯常将脖子伸得长长的，两翅展开拍击水面。一对对色彩斑斓、绚丽的鸳鸯在水中嬉戏、追逐、并肩畅游，时而发出“咕枣咕枣咕”的低沉而柔美的叫声，好像情侣在窃窃私语。大雁的身体构造很像小船，一双带蹼的脚，像是两把船桨。扁平的嘴有锯齿状的缺口，便于切断植物的嫩叶、幼茎和淘食水生植物的块根和种子。一群大雁“咕咕嘎嘎”地叫着往南飞，一会儿排成个“人”字，一会儿排成个“一”字。成行的大雁，像胜利进军的队伍展翅南飞，互相呼应着一往直前。群雁在霞光中抖擞着翅膀，悠然地从草地中飞起。它们排着“一”字飞上天空，像出征的战士，呼喊着，歌唱着，声音里充满了必胜的信念。雁群排成整整齐齐的人字形，目标一致地向前飞着，它们在天空嘹亮地叫着，好像在庄严地宣告：它们的队伍是整齐的，它们的目标是明确的。翠鸟头上的羽毛像橄榄色的头巾，绣满了翠绿色的花纹，背上的羽毛像浅绿色的春装，腹部的羽毛像赤褐色的衬衫。一只翠鸟忽地从柳树间飞出，掠过水面往另一个树丛中去了，它那美丽的羽毛带走了众人的眼光。
