在扩展的过程中也有些窍门，以下几点可供参考：

1)在整篇文章中，避免只是用一两个句式或重复用同一词语。英语中存在着极为丰富的同义词，准确地使用同义词可以给读者清新的感觉。同时要灵活运用各种句式，如倒装句、强调句、省略句、主从复合句、对比句、分词短语、介词短语等，从而增加文章的可读性。

2)使用不同长度的句子。如果一个意思用一句话写不清楚的话，通过分句和合句或用两句、三句来表达，增强句子的连贯性和表现力。

3)改变句子的开头方式，不要总是以主、谓、宾、状的次序。可以把状语至于句首，或用分词等。

4)学会使用过渡词。

(1) 递进furthermore，moreover，besides，in addition，then，etc

(2) 转折however，but，nevertheless，afterwards，etc

(3) 总结finally，at last，in brief，to conclude，etc

(4) 强调really，indeed，certainly，surely，above a11，etc

(5) 对比in the same way，just as，on the other hand，etc

4、检查修改：要检查复核，不要写完了事。

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. As the saying goes, "the state-owned national law, the home has rules", "no rules, no fangyuan." We have this home some unwritten rules.

Smokers. The house rules is mainly for my father. 一天晚上，我们刚吃完饭过不久，爸爸就叼着一支烟，在家里散播“迷魂烟雾弹”。妈妈见了很不高兴，生气的看着爸爸，爸爸却嬉皮笑脸地说：“就一支，一支!”可是，没过多久，他又抽起来了，而且一支接一支，变本加厉。屋子里到处弥漫着抢人的浓烟，熏得我和妈妈不停地咳嗽。我忍不住说：“爸爸，从今天开始，你再也不能抽烟了。如果再抽，我就对你实行”无产阶级专政“!”爸爸一听立即提出抗议，说：“我反对!”“那你知道抽烟的危害有多大吗?……”我就以理服人“那——好吧，我戒!”爸爸也意识到了错误，也接受了“命令”。

自从家规颁布以后，爸爸抽烟的毛病收敛多了，我们为爸爸感到骄傲。

Tourism in China

Recent years have seen a tendency in China that tourism is growing faster. According to a recent survey made by some experts, about 47% urban residents travel regularly, and 28% rural residents also make their tour across the country. The survey also shows that more people are interested in tourism, and will join the army in the future.

Facing this tendency, we can’t help exploring some underlying factors that are responsible. In the very first place, with the policy of reform and opening up, Chinese people’s living standard has been greatly improved, and therefore, most of them can afford to travel around. What’s more, it is believed that people now take a more positive attitude to tourism, and regard it as a life style. In addition, tourism facilities are becoming better and better. For example, transportation develops fast, and many scenic spots are available now.

最近几年，在中国的趋势，旅游业增长较快。根据最近的一项调查显示一些专家认为，约47%城镇居民定期作出旅行，28%的农村居民，也使他们的全国巡演。该调查还显示，更多的人在旅游有兴趣，并会在将来加入。

面对这一趋势，我们不能不说是负责任的开发一些潜在因素。在第一个地方，随着改革开放政策，对中国人民的生活水平有了很大提高，因此，他们大多数都不能周游。更重要的是，它相信，人们现在更积极的态度，旅游业，把它作为一种生活方式。此外，旅游设施正在变得越来越好。例如，交通运输发展迅速，许多景点都已经上市。

Last year, I went to Guilin for travel. On the train, I felt so bored. A

girl who sat next to me was reading a book, which caught my attention. I asked

her about the book, I found that I had read it before and then we discussed

about the novel. We talked happily, when the train arrived, we got off together.

When we got aparted, we promised to keep in touch. We communicated by the

computer. Now a year has passed, we become good friends and I miss her all the

time. She is a genuine friend. I plan to go to Guilin again and then we will

meet.

Although high grades are an important factor in evaluating students and for

their future university admission , development in wisdom emotion ,health and

life attitude should never be ignored . There are many examples around us . Some

all—A students in school have turned out not to be as successful in society as

they were expected. The reason is often that the pressure from their parents

allows them almost no time for other activities . Furthermore , punishment is by

no means a wise choice to help them grow up mentally and physically .

So I suggest that you take your friends’ advice . More importantly, let her

live like a lovely girl ; let her have more friends and social activities ; and

let her make mistakes of her own as we teenagers often do .
