广袤的草原上，稍长的草尖儿在风中轻轻摇曳，成片的牛和羊在其中安详地吃草。几只狐狸脑袋刚刚从洞中探出头来。一旁的灌木丛里，偶尔会闪过几只棉尾兔的身影。可以听到从远方的森林里不时传来乌鸦的叫声，以及他们的翅膀扇动的凌乱的嘈杂声。忽然，几声枪响，打破了这宁静。吓得牛羊们惊作一团，发出巨大的声响，原本探出头来的的狐狸不见了踪影，一大群乌鸦在树林里呱呱乱叫，飞来飞去……

这就是欧内斯特在《我所了解的野生动物》这本书中所描绘的野生世界。在这个世界里，一切都以它最真实的模样呈现在你眼前，没有半分虚假，也没有半点遮掩。你可以在书中看到英勇而智慧的狼王罗勃，老成而狡黠的乌鸦银斑，机智敏捷的棉尾兔豁耳朵，也可以看到忠诚的宾果，狡猾的狐狸，热爱自由的野马，残忍的乌利，以及孤独的红颈。它们都有着属于自己的独一无二的故事。不过，正如欧内斯特所写：“既然这些故事都是真实的，这也就成为了它们都是悲剧的原因。因为野生动物的一生总是以悲剧告终的。”

在这些性格各异的动物当中，最受我青睐并使我感到强烈震撼的，还是要数那匹永不停歇的野马了。在他的幼年时期，便已初露锋芒，待到青年，果然成为了一匹千里好马。可却有人对他产生了歹意，妄想收他为己用，派无数人马来追捕他。他逃掉了无数次，却终究敌不过爱情的力量——他还是被抓住了，被烙上了耻辱的印记，他失去了自由。可是在最后的路上，他拖着抓捕者一起掉进了悬崖，摔得粉生碎骨，然而他又重新获得了自由。

这匹野马，看完他的故事，带给我的是久久的震撼。它宁愿用生命来换取自由。我们当中，能有多少人为了自由而付出一切？又能有多少人为了自己的尊严而死守到底？办公室里坐着死气沉沉的人们，酒局上的人们挂着虚伪的笑，为了让老总高兴而阿谀奉承，胆小怕事而忍气吞声，甚至在多年以后回想起自己儿时的梦想时，只有一声叹息。

我很羡慕这匹野马，它能够无拘无束地在草原上狂奔，感受风掠过身旁的声音，感受足下草地的触感，感受被溅起的水花掠过他的足，感受……

我也想成为这匹野马，享受大自然，享受自由。尽管他最后的结局是悲剧，我却仍觉得他活的潇洒，活的帅气！

若不是人类的追捕，他或许还能自由地在草原上奔跑，享受着妻妾成群的美好生活。其实大多数野生动物的悲剧都是由人类直接或间接造成的，若是人类少一些贪心与利欲，白鳍豚会不会不会成为濒危物种，长江鲟鱼会不会还在水里快乐地游玩呢？可是时间不能倒转，历史不能改变，所以这一切都猜想都不能得到证实。但可以肯定的是，我们现在应该做的，便是保护好那些现存的动物们。如同书中所肯定的，这样一种反复被强调的道德思想——我们和动物都是同类。人类所具有的一些东西不会在动物身上荡然无存，而动物所具备的东西在某种程度上也会为人类所分享。

渴望看到有一天，人和动物不是红着眼相斗，而是友好和睦地相处。

广袤的草原上，稍长的草尖儿在风中轻轻摇曳……

“保护动物”这四个字我们每天都在说，可是又有多少人在用实际行动表示呢？被割掉胸鳍和尾鳍的鲨鱼，被割掉角的犀牛，用洁白的象牙制作的装饰品，活熊取胆……这一件件残忍的事情时常发生，申赋渔的《逝者如渡渡》叙说了数百年间，世界各地灭绝了的或正在走向灭绝的30多种动物的故事，如：日本象。指猴。象龟。渡渡鸟……它们都是人类的伙伴，它们也曾快乐的生活在这个地球上，可是，因为人类掠夺了它们的生存空间，使它们从地球上永远消失了。

全球变暖，使北极熊赖以生存的浮冰断裂。消融。也使他们的食物——海象。海豹逐渐减少，使北极熊频临灭绝；人口迅速膨胀和乱砍乱伐，使熊猫的生存范围被迫向竹子稀少的山顶推进，食不果腹成了家常便饭，当竹子开花时，有些野生熊猫会因找不到食物而饿死。熊猫虽是我国的“国宝”，可在全世界的数量也不过区区20--多只。

人类啊！醒悟吧，让“保护动物”不只是说说而已。动物是人类的朋友，是地球大家庭中的一员，动物同人类生活在同一个地球上，动物作为食物链中的一员，如果动物灭绝了，那么人类也逃脱不了灭绝的厄运。

动物是有灵性的，它们也有思维和感情，人类怎么能忍心去杀害它们呢？每一个物种的消失，都是人类走向孤独的脚步，没有了动物的陪伴，人类还能走多远？保护动物绝不仅仅是一个组织的责任，大自然为大家所共有，保护动物，人人有责。但愿每个人都问一下自己，自己的行为曾经给地球带来过怎样的伤痛？自己有没有为一时的利益而透支我们的未来？

一天，我和妈妈去菜市场买菜。

菜市场里全都是叫卖声，卖白菜喽，卖青菜喽，卖青蛙喽。我一听有青蛙卖，我就拉着妈妈兴奋地去看青蛙。妈妈看见这里的青蛙又肥又大，就说：“你想不想买几只青蛙尝尝?”我点了一点头。妈妈看见我在点头，就对卖青蛙的人说：“老板，给我挑几只大一点的青蛙!”我高高兴兴地买了几只青蛙回家了。

我刚想把青蛙煮了，可是旁边却听见爸爸低沉地说：“孩子，你必需把这些青蛙放掉!”“为什么?”我很不情愿地说。“因为青蛙是益虫，它7月份一共能吃掉害虫20000多只而且还能保护农作物因为不管是飞的爬的，躲在地下的，它们只要一出来活动，就都被青蛙吃掉而且青蛙对人类的益处很大，如果捕杀青蛙就回让害虫大量的繁殖，我们就必需要大量是用农药来杀死害虫，这样不仅破坏了生态平横而且还污让了环境因此严禁捕食青蛙!所以，你必需把这些青蛙放掉!”

我从爸爸斩钉截铁的口气中，我知道我以经再也没有什么可以商量的余地了。我只好跑到河边，把青蛙放掉了。我看这那几只青蛙用四条着强劲又力的大腿往河中央游去。我叹了口气，心想：我这辈子再也买不到这么大的青蛙了。

真的，我从那以后，我再也没有买到过这么大的鱼了。可是那天的情景却一直铭刻在我的记忆里，爸爸坚定的话语也一直回响再我的耳边。
