中国的清明节是世界上早的感恩节。

春秋战国时，骊姬想让他的儿子当国王，就将太子申生杀了。申生的一个弟弟重耳知道后，也怕杀自己，就带领一些大臣出逃了。后来，重耳因吃不上饭被饿晕了，一个叫介子推的大臣就把自己腿上的肉割下来，烧熟了喂重耳。重耳终于活了过来。17年后，重耳当上了晋文公，分封有功之臣。他忽然想起了介子推，就“三顾茅庐”去请他，可他却背着老母上绵山了。晋文公听了大臣的话，在绵山的树林外三面点火，一面留给介子推出来，介子推还是不出来，被烧死在山上。死时，手里还攥一首血诗：

割肉奉君尽丹心，但愿主公常清明……

臣在九泉心无愧，勤政清明复清明。

介子推施恩不图报的品德感动了晋文公。于是，晋文公亲自为他送葬，祭祀。并把这一天定为寒食节。把绵山改为介山。

第二年，晋文公又去介山祭祀，发现介子推死时抱的那棵被烧焦的大柳树长出了新枝，又结合介子推诗中的“清明”，把祭祀的日子改为清明节，年年祭奠介子推。另外，晋文公报恩的精神也很教育人。

我们国家是文明古国，礼仪之帮，几千年来都没有忘记个节日，祭祀面扩大了。成为全国性的祭祀活动。

我有今天，要感谢爸爸、妈妈、奶奶、姥姥、姥爷、老师，和一切关心我的人。“乌鸦反哺”，“滴水之恩，当涌泉相报”，我也不会忘记大家，一定报答他们的恩情!

Recently, I was so shocked by the news that a young boy died of violence

after his parents sent him to a private school. The slogan of the private school

was to help parents correct kids bad behaviors. A lot of parents choose to send

their kids here after they giving up educating their kids. The public blamed the

parents for not educating their children in the right way. There is no doubt

that the root of kids problems come from family. Many parents always force the

children to do what they want and ignore the kids feelings, so they will go

against the elders thoughts. Finally, the parents lose temper. The elder should

show respect to the kids. Communication can solve the problem. When the children

receive love and understanding from parents, they will be nice persons.

A teacher gave her students of second grade to write an assignment on What Im thankful for on Thanksgiving? She couldnt agree enough with one of the wisest students in her class who wrote that she was thankful that she was not a turkey.

The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They have been the most traditional and favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout the years.

Everyone agrees the dinner must be built around roast turkey stuffed with a bread dressing[3] to absorb the tasty juices as it roasts. But as cooking varies with families and with the regions where one lives， it is not easy to get a consensus on[4] the precise kind of stuffing for the royal bird.

Thanksgiving today is， in every sense， a national annual holiday on which Americans of all faiths and backgrounds join in to express their thanks for the year s bounty and reverently ask for continued[5] blessings.

My Mother is a kind of gentle woman. She is always very gentle. She takes

good care of her children and keeps them all at school. I have one brother and

two sistets. So she gets four children in all. She gives us every comfort. We

all love her and she loves us also.

My mother has too much to do in bringing us up. As our family is too poor

to keep a servant, my mother has always to do very much work. She gets up very

early and sleeps very late every day. She works hard, yet without

complaining.

She is also a thrifty, and industrious woman. She saves every cent that she

can and keeps everything in order. As she has been busy eversince she was young,

she looks older than she really is. Her face is wrinkled, her hair becomes

silver white, but she works as hard as ever.

Often she says to us, "work while you work, play while you play. If you do

not work, you will become lazy and of no use to society." What piece of good

advice this is! We must worth it well and always keep it in our mind.

感恩圣诞节

圣诞节如彩蝶一般，翩然而至了。这座处在沙漠边缘的小城，竟变得温情起来。天气总是很温和，平时肆虐的风沙似乎已经永久定格在了昨日。走在街上，萦绕眼眸和耳畔的都是轻柔与优雅。迎面而来的陌生人会扬起嘴角和眉心，眼中善意的目光让人安定。汽车停止了歇斯底里的尖叫，司机微笑着减缓车速，让孩子们尽情在马路上追打。小店里不再播放疯狂的摇滚，而是传出翩翩的轻音乐，盈盈的音符跳动在门前的圣诞树上，恍惚间感到似乎是开满树梢的繁花。
