Nowadays, more and more people like to travel in their holidays. The other day I read a report about the ways people spend their holidays. Why did those changes appearI think there are several reasons. First, it s because people can afford traveling. Second, people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life. People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. For me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

人们去旅游有的乘飞机、有的坐火车、坐船、乘公共汽车。对我来说在暑假，最好的方式是徒步旅行。 My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus.

It’s also not bad to travel by train. Enjoy the scenery out of the train on the way, just look around here and there , maybe you can get some new friends in this narrow but long carriage. Certainly you’d better choose the different path when you return back from the place of interest so that you can make your eyes full of the landscape of interest on the way and never need to revisit the once familiar place. How far-flung and galland the rivers and mountains in our homeland are! There are still too many places we can go.

Advantages of Travel By traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. We will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots. I remember I had a very weird dream I was about 8 years old,the dream is still stuck in my mind because of how strange it was to me.The dream was about me getting chased by some giant snake that came to my cousins house.The snake was trying to eat everyone and everyone was running for their lives.I ran out the door and it came after me which scared me and made me run really fast.When i woke up from the dream I found myself crying,I guess it was because I was too scared and cried in my sleep since I was still too young to know there arent really any monsters in this world.
