How I Spent My Summer Vacation

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way.

I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations,this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so.

I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations.

Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this.

With this in mind I then set to work like anything and occasionally went out for a change or did some physical.

at college, i missed my parents a lot. as the term was drawing to an end, i eagerly looked forward to going home. and i planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. above all, i wanted to help my mother with housework. i also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended.

however, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. she completely deprived me of sharing her work. as soon as i opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. to please her,i told her one thing after another,and soon i forgot all about books. even when i was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that i should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea.

when i left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. but i felt very happy. i believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: home, sweet home. theres no place like home!

I plan to go to travel alone this summer vacation. I have traveled several times, but gone with my family or friends, never did it alone. My families plan to visit the interesting place of Shanghai.We are led to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower ,a famous tourist attraction,which is on every Shanghaineses lips.It is a magnificent building located in Pudong New Area,it is the tallest building,so its very easy to see this building,even if you are several miles away it.As we get to the high floor of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower,we see the attractive viwes which includes the Huangpu River through the window.At the moment,l suddenly moved by the builders put their soul and energy to this building and let it be a landmark of this city.

This is the trip l never forget.

.In the National Day ,I have had a good eight-day.I went to Weihai with my family.We got there by air.Weihai is a very beautiful and modern city.

In the morning,we got to the hotel where we lived.After breakfast,we began to our travel.First we took the bus to the Sea Park.There are so many different kinds of fishes that I couldn’t believe my eyes.We also saw the show of dolphins.Then we had lunch in a restaurant.The seafood which was very famous in China was delicious.

After lunch we went swimming.The sea was blue and beach was golden.We all enjoyed ourselves in the sea.Finally we went back the hotel where we lived.We had a happy day.

In this trip,we also went to some places which were interesting and famous in Dalian,went shopping and so on.

Several days later,we left Weihai.On our way home,we were very happy.This was the reason why we didn’t feel tired.In all,we had a good holiday.

My vacation was very interesting. I did my homework on first day. I played table tennis on second day. I watched TV on the third day. I went shopping on the fourth day. I… But I liked my going shopping best.

On Sunday, I went to a shopping center with my mother. The shopping center wasn’t far from my home. It took us about ten minutes to get there on foot. The shopping center was very big. There were all kinds of things. Every day a lot of people go there to buy things. It opens at eight in the morning and closes at nine at night. Now, I was helping my mother buying things.
