Learning English just like learning any other language, is hard work so my first advice is to spend much time practicing using English every day. Besides, we should listen to the teacher and take notes carefully in class. Go over what is learnt regularly and finish doing our homework carefully. Listen to English radio programmes, read English stories and newspapers, watch English films and TV programmes ,keep a diary in English and attend English debbates and speech contests. Nowadays, more and more people realize the harm of smoking and the damage

it bring to the people around us. Considered the health of people themseves and

the one they care, many smokers try their best to give up smoking. When quiting

smoking, I have some suggestions. First of all, people should have strong will

on giving up smoking. Personal determination is the most important factor. When

feeling eager to smoke, people should think about the damage of smoking and the

people they love. And then they can strengthen their will not to smoke.

Secondly, sweep away all the cigarette around. They can’t find any cigarette

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going

In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage

to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much

more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to

Its almost the end of April. Summer has come to us in my city. In south,

summer always comes earlier than north. It has been hot for about half a month.

The highest temperature reached 37 degree. Now, there are much less people in

outside. Swimming is the most favorite activity in my city. The pools are always

Last week, my English teacher gave us a task, she asked us to form a small

English is one of my best subjects and I started learning English when I was ten years old. But at the very beginning，listening seemed a little difficult for me. So I have been doing a lot of listening practice，such as listening to tapes，watching English TV programs. And I found it really helpful. In fact，there are some more helpful ways to learn English well. For example，I enjoy singing English songs and I want to join an English club or find a pen pal from English-speaking countries. I believe that nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.
