In addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a foreign countries, I can simply just drop him an email whenever I can and get a message from him very quick. It is much better than waiting for letters. Also, the email will not lose while the letter might be losing in the process of delivery.

However, there are also disadvantage of using Internet. For example, I might spend too much time on the Internet to concentrate on my study. Also, there is a chance that I am cheated because of the Internet purchasing. Last, Internet has lots of information, both helpful and harmful. There might be too much tempatation that I will access some of the harmful information I can on the Internet.Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I can use the Internet very well as long as I know how to control myself.

因特网的使用成为一个社会中最有争议的话题。作为一名学生，我认为互联网是对于我是利大于弊的。使用互联网有很多优点。

首先，我可以充分利用我的时间去网上查找信息而不是去各个图书馆。同时，网上的信息可以追溯到几十年前。把那些信息作为参考或历史凭证是很有帮助的。在图书馆里，很难找到那么“老”的信息。使用互联网的另一个优势是，我可以呆在家里在网上听讲座。对我来说是很方便的，因为我可以，在冬天的时候保持温暖上课而不是花两个小时坐公共汽车而且心不在焉的上课。此外，互联网为我和我的朋友与教授提供了一个更好的交流方式。我可以在几分钟内得到我的教授的回应，而不是在他的门外等几个小时。我有些朋友是住在国外的，我可以随时给他发邮件，也可以很快的得到回信。这比等待的信件好得多。同时，邮件不会丢失而信件则有可能在运送过程中丢失。

但是，也有使用互联网也是有缺点的。例如，我可能会花过多的时间在互联网上而无法专注于我的学习。同时，因为网购我也可能有被受骗的机会。最后，网上有大量的信息，既有有益的也有有害的。在互联网上可能有太多的诱惑，我会获得一些有害信息。即使使用互联网对我既有积极的也有消极的影响，我仍然认为互联网是技术发展的象征。我相信只要我知道如何控制自己，我能很好地使用互联网。

Iphone is always the best seller in the world market. Especially in China, so many young people are proud to have one at hand, which means they are in the fashion trend. The news even reported a guy sold his kidney just for collecting enough money to buy an iphone. It is true that iphone has the advanced technology and the system always works better than other smart phones’. But recently, the media made a report about the best seller on cellphone, to everyone’s surprise, the winner of all the time has come to second place and the new winner is Oppo. We are happy that foreign product is not the customers’ first choice, and they start to choose domestic products, which shows the improvement of our technology. We are so proud of the improvement, someday, there will be more homemade products.

When Im free or in trouble, I always take out a book and read quietly. In no time, Ive put my heart into it so that Ill forget all the troubles. Its in this way that Ive formed the habit of reading in any time.

当我空闲的时候或在麻烦，我总是拿出一本书静静地看书。在任何时候，我把我的心让我忘记所有的烦恼。就这样我已经形成在任何时间阅读的习惯。

Little boys as I was, I was interest in picture books and storybooks. I was struck by them. No sooner had I entered the middle school than I began to read novel, plays, and essays and so on. I found I could get much from them. Little by little I took great interest in literature and last term I won the first prize in the composition contest among middle-school students in Zhe Jiang.

当我还是小孩子时，我在图画书和故事书感兴趣。我很惊讶他们。我刚进入了中学，我开始读小说，戏剧，散文等。我发现我可以从他们身上得到很多。渐渐的我开始对文学感兴趣的最后一学期我在浙江省中学生作文竞赛中获得一等奖。

Reading “The Emperors New Clothes”, I had to let out a burst of laughter over his fool. “The Little Match Girl” couldnt keep me from crying for her misery. “Robinson Crusoe” took me into a strange world full of danger. And I was also deeply impressed by Helen Kellers patience and perseverance… Besides these, books also tell me other thing -how to be a man and how to tell the difference between right and wrong. In a word, good books can make me know what I didnt before. So I think of a good book as my best friend.

阅读“皇帝的新衣”，我不得不把一阵笑声在他的傻瓜。《卖火柴的小女孩》不能不让我为她哭的痛苦。《鲁滨孙漂流记》把我带进了一个充满危险的陌生的世界。我也深深打动了海伦凯勒的耐心和毅力……除此之外，本书还告诉我其它的东西——如何成为一个男人，如何分辨对与错。总之，好的书籍可以让我知道什么我不在。所以我认为一个好的书是我最好的朋友。

Dear David，

I am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having

answered your letter dated 7, December sooner, but when I have told you the

reason, I trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. When your

letter arrived, I was just in Hong Kong. As my family could not forward it to me

during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment

when I took it up. Now the first thing I have to hasten to do is to write to you

these few lines to express my deep regret.

I enjoyed many pleasant sights during my trip. I shall be pleased to give

you an account to of them when I see you next.
