What factor decides everyone’s opportunity? Some people believe that opportunity is just a matter of coincidence; other people believe that opportunity is around us, it needs people to perceive. In my opinion, besides what mention above, opportunity also needs us to create.

One factor that plays an important role in determining our opportunities is coincidence. For example, some people born in a rich family, they enjoy great chances to be successful, because the fame and the reputation from the family provide them chances. Comparing to those people who born in a poor family, they don’t have such chances, it is hard for them to seize the chances, they need to work for it.

决定我们机遇的一个重要原因是偶然。比如,一些人出生在一个富裕的家庭,他们享受着成功的巨大机遇,因为家庭的名利给他们带来了机遇。和那些出生在贫困家庭的人相比,他们没有这样的机遇,对于他们来说很难抓住机遇,他们需要创造机遇。

The other factor that plays an important role in determining our opportunities are our positive attitude. Opportunity often exists all around us, it is waiting for those people who are brave to grasp it. A person who is positive will perceive the chance, he will not be defeated by fail, still holding the hope that chances comes any minute, so they will grasp the chance as soon as it comes.

决定我们机遇的另一个重要的因素是我们乐观的态度。机遇总是围绕着我们,它等待着那些勇敢的人去发现。一个乐观的人会察觉到机遇,他不会被失败打败,仍然抱着希望,相信机遇随时来,所以当机遇来的时候,他们会立刻抓住。

In conclusion, everyone has the chance to be successful; it contains many factors, such as coincidence, attitude and others. In order to fulfill our lives, we must seize the chance to realize our dreams.

总的来说,每个人都有机会成功,机遇包含着很多因素,比如偶然因素,态度和其它的因素。为了充实我们的生活,我们一定要抓住机遇来实现我们的梦想。

Now I want to say something about my dream. What is my dream? I often ask

myself. In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a

dream means that we have an idea, and then we will do all the things to achieve

the target. As long as we have a goal to be realized, we won’t be blind at

least.

My dream is to become a successful doctor, helping those sick people and

saving their lives. Of course, to be a good doctor is very difficult, but I will

do whatever I can do to keep everyone healthy. Thats my dream. I want to try my

best to help the poor sick people of our country. I want to let them have an

opportunity to receive excellent treatments for their illnesses without having

to pay much or just enjoy them free. China is a developing country which needs

good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and distant

villages.

Now I’m a junior student on Grade One, all my classmates and I are working

hard. We all know that the entrance exam of high schools coming in the year of

2009 is a big challenge for us, so we must study harder and harder in order to

go to a good high school. Thus after we finish our senior high school, we are

able to go to a good university. Finally, we can find a good job in society.

My dream is also that although at present I’m good at study, I’ll still try

my best to be the study winner. Now everything I do is close to my dream. I feel

life is fill with hope and is colorful, and I have enough confidence to realize

my dream.

I know that fantasy is something hard to realize, but dream can. I’ll work

hard for my dreams, I’ll never give up.

短短几天的军训，让我想到了很多，让我成长了很多。它让我学会了团结，锻炼了我的意志。军姿展现的是军人之风采，坚定之心，硬骨之气。

时间过得很快，不知不觉，为期一周的军训马上要结束了，星期五是我们军训的最后一天，我们要进行军训汇演，还邀请了许多家长来观摩!

午休过后，我们匆匆忙忙地下楼练习汇演的内容：立正、稍息、跨立、停止间转法、敬礼、齐步走和立定。此刻我的心情已经开始激动了。

转眼间就到了汇演的时候。一班、二班、三班接着就该轮到我们班汇演了。此刻我的心跳得更快了。五班汇演完之后，我们班的李教官就大声地喊了声：“立正!齐步走!”我们就整整齐齐地走了起来，教官说了声：“立定。”我们就停了下来，等待着教官的再一次发号施令。

教官停顿了一会，不知为什么我有些提心吊胆。两三秒后，我们又听到教官铿锵有力的口令：“向右看齐!”我们就按照教官的要求去做相应的内容。“立正!稍息!”李教官的这声突如其来的口令让我有点不知所措。但我又立刻回到了状态。

“第一个内容：立正、稍息、跨立，立正!”听到这声口令我们立即摆出立正的姿势。“稍息、立正、跨立”李教官说得内容我们都顺利完成了。正当我们高高兴兴准备走回去的时候，却出了岔子，我们最后一排最右边的四个女生突然停住了。不过很快就恢复了状态。就这样有惊无险地完成了我们的第一次军训汇演。

这五天的军训让我明白了一个道理：做什么事都要团结，坚持不懈;做什么事都要有始有终，不能半途而废。

Water is the most valuable resource on the earth. Water is the necessity of

our life and we must drink it everyday.Now, many people can not drink clear

water, because many of them are badly polluted. So, in order to save water, the

first thing we should do is reduce water pollution. In addition, we should

develop good habits to save water. For example, turn off the tap after we use.

Or we should recycle the water to make it full use. In one word, water is scarce

for all of us and we should try our best to save it.

I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing

basketball is always my favourite,so some of my classmates and I will form a

small team and play basketball together.Sometimes we may have a match against

some other teams and I do enjoy the sense when we win the game.

I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation.

We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and

windy that day. There were thousands of people. When we saw a group of

foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the

Great Wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our English were

exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Walls history. They thanked us a lot

and we really had a good time. We felt proud of ourselves and being Chinese.

我和我的朋友在夏令营期间去了长城，我们是乘汽车去的，经过两个小时才到的那儿。那天天气很热，风也很大，那里有很多很多的人，当我们看到一群外国人的时候，我们上去和他们攀谈。我们告诉他们很多关于长城的故事，他们非常惊讶我们的英语是如此的好，而且我们还懂那么多关于长城的故事。他们非常感谢我们，而我们也度过了愉快的一天。我们为自己是一名中国人而感到很自豪。

随着时间的步伐，我们从一个天真、烂漫的小学生，马上就要成为一名正式的初中生了。在这段蝉变的过程中有一个必不可少的重要过程，那就是军训。

军训，这个词对于我们而言，不仅仅代表着我们即将受到长达五天的严格训练，也意味着我们也将从中学习到生活自理、做事雷厉风行的军人气质。

今天是军训的第二天。早上，我们在杨教官的带领下走向了操场。今天我们要学习的动作是跨立、齐步走和跑步走，这些我们看上去十分容易的动作，做起来却是十分的困难。当看到我们又不会的地方时，杨教官总会一次次的在我们的面前，耐心地一次次向我们示范动作的一些要领。

记得我们一起在反复练习齐步走的时候，大家都已经将这个动作要领记得滚瓜烂熟了，走起来也是十分轻松，步伐也非常到位，可是班上仍然有一位男同学总是因为紧张，步子总是与同学们不一样，当教官喊道“一”的时候，大家都迈出了左脚，可是这同学每次都比大家慢了半拍，这是杨教练会把大家先放在一边站军姿，自己就在队伍的一旁很有耐心的给这位同学做示范，边教他如何放松，按正常的姿势走路。

每当我们在烈日炎炎之下，一次次的重复着同样枯燥无味的动作之时，每当我们汗流浃背口渴至极的时候，我们就都会想到自己的教官，想到教官也是和我们一样累，一样辛苦的时候，想到我们现在所做的一切都是为了自己的时候，只感觉到我们身上的累和辛苦都被一阵凉爽的微风带走了，代之而来的是浑身使不完的力量与活力。

让我们朝气蓬勃去迎接下一天的训练吧!

第一天的军训并不是想象中的骄阳似火，而是伴着凉爽的秋。但是艰苦的训练还是让刚刚看到曙光的我们又陷入了无尽的黑暗。

站军姿、原地踏步走、向右看齐、向前三步……

一个个看似简单的动作但要做好却不容易，我们一遍一遍，直到看到教官上扬的嘴角，我们才能松口气，有时感觉真得到了自己的极限，但仍然咬着牙坚持，我知道这是对我身体的一次考验，也是体会“坚持”的时刻。

军训虽然累，但我相信它会给我即将开始的高中生活抹上一笔灿烂的绿。

Today， I did housework for grandmother。 She is not very healthy and I

decide to do housework for her more frequently。 And she will feel happy and bee

better。 Suddenly， an idea hit me that it’s terrible to grow old becuase you have

to worry about both your health and others’ opinions。 Once again， I make a

decision to be a good girl。

这天，我帮忙了奶奶做家务。奶奶的身体不好。我以后要常帮她做事。这样她就会高兴身体也会好一些。突然觉得，人老了真不好。不但身体不会好，而且一不留意就会惹得大家厌恶。我又做了一个决定，以后必须要做个乖孩子。

My Family

My name is Li Hua. I am from a workers family. There are six people in my

family. They are my grandfather, my grandmother, my father, my mother, my sister

and I.

Every member in my family works for his or her own trade①. My grandfather

and grandmother are peasants. They do farm work every day in my hometown. My

father is a senior engineer. He is now working in Africa, helping to build a

power station. My mother is a teacher. She teaches English in a middle school.

My sister, five years older than I, is a doctor in the Peoples Hospital of our

county. She loves her work and does it well. I am a middle school student. And I

am going to take this years college entrance examination. I wish that I could

be enrolled② by a famous university.

That is my family. All the members in my family live in harmony③. We love

each other devotedly.

带着对新的一天的憧憬，我们开始了第三天的军训。现在。我已经克服了军训的不适，适应了艰苦的军训的生活。

早晨，我们继续学习正步走。要想正步其实并不容易。它要求我们要步伐一致，抬腿的高度要相同，每一排都要整齐，脚落地的声音要响亮并一起发出。这就需要我们相互配合，因为我们每一个人组成了这个班集体，任何一个人做得不好或排得不整齐，都会影响整个班级的练习效果。可是刚开始我们做得并不好，正步走总是越踢越快，脚没有在空中定位，我们大家都很着急，后来总教官来教我们，他喊着“一、二”的口令，我们的步伐才慢下来了，排面也变整齐了，我们都很高兴。

下午，我们举行了激烈的拔河比赛。虽然我们班没取得好名次，但我知道，同学们心往一处想，劲往一处使，我们体会到了团结的重要性，我们还是胜利者!

军训已经过去了一半，我们已经把所有动作都学会了，我相信在明天后天的努力下，我们在会操时能得到满意的结果。

当这么多要求落下来的时候，只有一种感觉：累!这时我才明白，原来当一名小军人是这么不容易，需要有多少克服一切困难的精神!这样下来我们就坚持不住了，更别说那些保家卫国的解放军叔叔们了，他们在背后是需要付出多少努力和艰辛，他们的精神是值得我们学习的。

通过一天的训练，是我真正明白了学军和学农的不同：后者只是潜在的体验，知识细微的接触，前者则是一种训练，锻炼我们的意志，加强我们不怕苦不怕累的团队精神。我们应该珍惜这次机会，摒弃我们以前娇生惯养的脾气，成为一名真正的高段学生，学会克服。

Tomorrow is Christmas day, today is Christmas Eve.

We began to dress up the Christmas tree at night, have a lot of gift

packages, and a snowman, and bells and so on, it’s beautiful. We had a Christmas

party at home. A party with my host, and performances. My sister and me a lot of

从_日开始为期两周的高中新生军训活动在足球场顺利地拉开了帷幕。自此掀开了军训生活的新篇章。

回想那短短两周军训的日子，一种潜藏在心中已久的感受便由然而生。的确，军训是辛苦的，但切辛苦的美丽，辛苦的动人，辛苦的让人难以忘怀。在军训时，我们和训练员在烈日下同甘共苦，他们对每一个动作都要求严格，一发现我们的动作不规范，不到位，便细心的给我们讲解，纠正我们的错误，争取让我们把每一个动作做好。尤其是在站军姿时我们的双肩酸痛，双腿麻木，让我们真正地体会到苦和累。但我们不需抱怨它的苦难，它的辛苦和劳累，是在磨练我们像树一样坚挺向上，不屈不挠的意志，它带给了我们一种尊严，一种力量，一种不向任何权势卑躬的品质。正所谓人生苦短，年轻时吃点苦，受点累算什么。

俗语说：“不经历风雨，何以见彩虹;没有一份寒彻骨，哪来梅花扑鼻香。”它教会了我们怎样去面对今后的挫折。休息时，我们方队的男女生面对面的坐着，在训练员队长的引领下，我们每一个人的脸上都微笑着，这微笑的力量，感动了周围的一切，细细想想，幸福，快乐时常酿造着并荡漾在我们的心中，只要我们用心去体会，用心去发觉，便能找到瞬间的幸福与快乐。

此外，在军训的活动中，还增添可许多丰富多彩的活动，如组织我们看电影，听讲座等等。这些活动，既磨练可我们坚强的意志，吃苦耐劳的精神，培养了我们的团队意识，增进了我们之间的关系，提高了我们学生干部队伍的沟通能力和凝聚力，又改善可我们的精神风貌，提高可我们的综合素质，团队精神，为交院的人才发展奠定可坚定的文化基础和扎实的能力。白驹过隙的，时光像一条潺潺的小河，仿佛一眨眼的工夫，两周的军训生活就到可眼皮底下。回首丰富多彩的军训生活，我更多的是感慨——“几朝夕，数风流人物，还看今朝”。我们的明天会更加辉煌灿烂。

今天是军训的最后一天，因为我们要出演了，但练习的却不怎么样。所以，今天要更加努力了!

一连两天都在外面，我的皮肤都被晒黑了。今天又是，因为我们不仅要学习横排向前走，又学习了一个新的竖排向前走，然后学习转弯，围着操场走一圈，我是第一排的排头，要带领着我们这一排，我们这一排来领全班，所以我不仅要照顾好后面的个子小的同学，慢点走，还要注意好我们这一队齐不齐，我不能做的不好，我要更加努力，更加认真，才能有胜任这个排头的能力。

齐步走不是很难，但是迈腿迈的快了或慢了或步伐错了都可能影响大体。教官喊一，左脚落地，喊二，右脚落地，听起来很简单，但是我们好像就是忘了，不是快了就是慢了，练了几十遍，还可以，要完美，也要在家好好练习。

但是，功夫不负有心人，经过再次的努力，总算好了许多。

真心希望明天的比赛会有好的成绩!加油!

A wonderful day

Today is a wonderful day! In the morning, it is very fine! Then I climb the

mountain with family, the air on the mountain is very fresh, the flowers plants

and trees on the mountain all seem extremely beautiful. Coming back home in the

evening, family and I sat and watched TV together, we are returning and eating

the fruit while chatting, the whole family is happy and harmonious!I hope

everyday will be a good day in the future.

美好的一天

今天是美好的一天!在早上，天气非常好!然后，我爬上山与家人，山上的空气非常清新，山上的花草树木都显得格外美丽。回来晚上回家，我与家人坐在一起看电视，我们还吃着水果，一边聊天，全家其乐融融!我希望以后每天都是美好的一天。

军训，一个能给人无形压力的字眼，一个能影响人一生的字眼，一个很多人都向往的字眼。白日里，列队出操，站军姿、练军拳，一个个昂首挺胸、英姿飒爽;夜晚中，新生教育，听讲课、唱军歌，一次次认真严肃、歌声嘹亮。军训是一个熔炉，是一次机遇：熔掉了我们这些独生子女的娇脾气，给予了我们锻炼出那刚一般的体魄、那铁一般的意志的机遇。

不过军训给我们补了这堂课，它使我们明白了什么叫做铁的纪律。哨音一响，立即集合;军号一吹，马上熄灯。一开始，我们还不太习惯，觉得枯燥乏味。但是后来，我们不但养成了良好的纪律性，而且还懂得了纪律的重要性.通过我们的努力,使我们系在评比中获得了内务模范的称号,这对我们一生都将受益无限!

军训累不累?累!军训苦不苦?苦!军训甜不甜?甜!通过军训，我们学会了如何面对挫折，如何踏平坎坷，做到自制、自爱、自立、自强，也使我们有决心并充满着信心，为自己、为学校、为祖国、为音乐走出一条光明大道!

I went out to have dinner with father today. I should make toast during the

dinner but there was no juice availabe. So I had a bottle of beer. My face

turned red but I was not drunk. I dont think beer tastes bad but I wont like

have it too much because I am only a student.

今天和爸爸一起出去吃饭。吃饭的时候要敬酒。那里没有果汁。我就拿了一瓶啤酒开始到处敬酒。喝了一瓶酒后，我的脸红了，但没有醉。我认为啤酒并不难喝，但我还是要少喝酒。因为我还只是一个学生。

Now I am on the train to Guilin. The views are beautiful and I feel happy.

Mother told me there is only one day to go to arrive in Guilin. We bought a lot

of stuffs and they are heavy. So I took some bags from mother. She said I am

growing up and I smiled happily.

现在我坐在开往桂林的火车上。一路的风景很美。我也很开心。妈妈告诉我，还有一天就可以到桂林了。我们买了很多东西，很重。所以我帮妈妈提了几个袋子。妈妈说我长大了，我很开心的微笑。

Another new term comes again,so I should have a study plan to promot

myself.

Firstly,I descide to finish my homework more carefully than before.And pay

more attention to the knowledge which I didnt know it clearly.

Secondly,I will do a lot of read to widen the range of my knowledge,and try

to combine thoery to practice.

Finally,I will learn to adjust, to be more positive and more helpful.

Thats what I plant to do in a new term.
