extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

First and foremost, “locking kids” may hinder their healthy growth, both

mentally and physically. The kids who are locked may have heavy reliance on

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

cooperative spirit being prevented from developing.

Secondly, what these parents fail to see is the fact that the crime rate

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

只见他的手快速的摘着棉花，手指不停的在棉花上跳舞，看得我眼花缭乱，我赶紧加快自己的速度。我可不想输给一个男生呦!当雪白的棉花装满我们的袋子时，摘棉花的活动结束了。我们抬着“雪白的云彩”，凯旋般的快乐的离开了棉花地。

晚饭过后，我们来到了基地的广场上开起了“篝火”晚会。红红的火光照亮了大地，也映红了我们的脸庞。大家围着篝火，唱呀，跳呀，笑呀。欢乐地声音响彻着传向广场的每一个角落，传到整个农田的每一块土地，也传达到了我们每一人的快乐的心里。

第二天的中午，我们来到了农户耿奶奶家。70多岁的耿奶奶脸上有许多的皱纹，但身体看起来很硬朗，说话声音响亮。我们围在耿奶奶的周围，听她给我们讲了许多过去的故事。我们虽然无法体会耿奶奶那时的生活，但是也让我懂得了应该珍惜我们现在的一切。听完耿奶奶讲完故事后，我们还在耿奶奶家吃了一顿中饭。热情的耿奶奶家人为我们准备了一桌子香味扑鼻的饭菜。一开始我们还有点拘谨，在耿奶奶的“劝”说下，很快，满桌的饭菜被我们风起云涌，一扫而光。知道是什么滋味吗?那是快乐的滋味!

转眼间，我们要离开了。站在田埂上，午后的阳光暖暖的照着。一阵秋风轻轻吹过。其实秋风也并非只是带来寒意，此时的我倒是觉得瑟瑟的秋风中，我们收获了一个季节，收获了一串笑声，收获了一段回忆，更是收获了一份永久的快乐!

My father doesnt talk much. Though he is not funny, he loves me very much.

Last week, he travelled for business and when he came home, he took out a box

and brought me a nice present. I was so happy. He always remembered to bring me

some surprises. It was a special notebook and I could use it to write

diaries.

今天是个很特别的一天，随着立冬，我们迎来了一年里的第一场雪。在冬天连大地妈妈也冷得发抖的时候，孝顺的雪姑娘纷纷扬扬的从天上赶了过来，给大地穿上了一件雪白的棉袄。

轻飘飘的雪落到屋檐上、大地上。小树穿上了白衣;公路盖上了白毯;房屋戴上了白帽子……”整个世界变得银装素裹，到处一片白。亮晶晶的小雪花满天开放，洁白的小雪花飘啊飘啊!这使我不禁想起两句诗：“忽如一夜春风来，千树万树梨花开。”雪犹如天女散花;又如蒲公英的种子自由飞翔;还似千千万万只飞舞的白蝴蝶。好不美丽。

中午我决定出去看看，果不其然，外面银白的一片。我走在雪地上，雪发出“嘎吱、嘎吱”的声音，就像一个小孩欢快的笑着。这时，我脚下一滑，打了个趔趄，差点跌倒在地上，回头一看，原来是那调皮的雪在作怪，为我不再被雪“暗算”，我拿起铲子，和爷爷一起扫起了雪。

说干就干!我肩上扛一个五尺长的铲子，就在门口铲起来了。我握着铲子的杆，对准冰面就是一阵猛敲猛打，把我身边的整冰拍成了七零八落的十几个小碎片，然后爷爷用扫帚把它们扫到一块去，当雪越堆越多时，我又一铲一铲地把它们倒入旁边的水桶里，但雪就像一个调皮的娃娃，跟我的铲子玩起了躲猫猫，我费了好大劲才让它们乖乖得跑进铲子。当雪渐渐堆满水桶时，爷爷就把他们倒入了旁边的沟里。这样的配合天衣无缝，可过了会，我渐渐体力不支了，只好停下铲子休息，但看着经过我劳动后干干净净又闪闪发光的地面，我感到了快乐。

这个元旦，有美丽的雪景供我观赏，又有快乐的劳动让我体会，真特别。

The environment has been polluted badly today and the nature punishes the

human being by all kinds of disasters, such as the heavy haze in Beijing, which

damages people’s health. World Environment Day is on June 5th. It pays attention

to call for the public to make an effort to bring the world a clean

environment.

Look at the pollution around us, which exists everywhere. The cars release

the gas which pollutes the air and the rubbish can be found in every corner of

the street. All of these daily incidents hurts the world we live. Especially the

factories, they release the heavy smoke and make the sky becomes dark. What’s

more, the wasted water flows to the clean river.

Though the government has made some action to punish the businessmen for

releasing the polluted sources, they still dare to take the risk of earning the

biggest profit. If we hurt the environment, it will hurt ourselves, because we

live together. The polluted environment threatens our health. If we want to live

the comfortable life, then the only way is to be nice to the environment.
