My Favourite detective

In the world of detective novels, Sherlock Holmes is undoubtedly the most

famous one. But for me, the greatest detective in novels is Hercule Poirot, a

little Belgian who always uses his little grey cells to find the truth.

I really appreciate him for various reasons, such as his having an insight

into other peoples psychology, his understanding on hunman nature and his being

merciful. But most improtant thing is that he looks more like a real human

being, compared with Holmes or other legend detectives. He has such a funny

appearance, an egg-shaped head and exaggerated moustache . He enjoys delicious

cuisine and focuses on his own dressing. He is always humor and likes to mock

himself. he prefers to stay with young peole for being attracted by their vigor

and energy. And there are still so many lovely features of him I can list.

Anyway, I like him and appreciate him. I always get touched by the

philosophy of life in his storys. Hercule Poirot is indeed my favourite

detective.

We all know that it is not easy to find a suitable work in the present society. But at the same time, more and more companies say the phenomenon of the brain drain is very serious. I think both the employee and employer should take the responsibility. But employer should take the most duty. If the company can offer a considerable welfare, there will be less staff leave their position. In general, most employees change their jobs just because they think their payment doesn’t equal to their benefit. As we all know, fire is one of the most terrible killers in our modern society.We know that fire is mainly caused by smokers, followed by defective insulations and children playing with matches.In 2002 ,thousands of fire happened all over the country, of which 50 percent was caused by smokers who left cigarette-ends everywhere.Those who smoke should make sure that the cigarettes are stubbed out before being thrown away.Also, smoking should not be allowed in public places.30 percent of fire was caused by defective insulation. Workers should know the importance of good insulation for people’s lives.At homes we must pay special attention to electric wires and make sure that they are safe.20 percent of fire are caused by children playing with matches. After class you can borrow the books you want and also you can read them in the reading room at any time. Beside our classroom, there is a big playground. At about 4:30 p.m. every day, many students play football, basketball and some of them play tennis. All the playground is alive.

Study has been an important part of our life. I study hard in school and

even I graduate, I still keep reading books. Reading books not only brings me

the knowledge, but also happiness. The knowledge I learn will be the greatest

I was very small, I fell in love with reading. I read cartoon books, then I
