communicate with other people.

First, smoking is bad for our health. As we start smoking, its so

difficult to give up, because the tobacco contains a drug called nicotine, which

can get us into the habit of smoking. When we go without nicotine, our bodies

will feel sick.

Second, smoking is so dangerous. When we smoke in bed, we may kill

ourselves as well as burn down our houses, for burning cigarette ends may cause

a big fire. And if we threw the cigarette ends anywhere, it would also cause a

fire disaster.

Furthermore, once we smoke in public, we may make other people feel

uncomfortable as well.

Accordingly, for the sake of your and others’ health, please dont

what s your plan for dragon boat festival?

As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and can t see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi . My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldn t buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didn t make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentine s day, April Fool s Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, it s the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witch s Day in Czech. People burned the witch s puppet so as to welcome spring. After new holiday regulation, we have three holidays during the dragon boat festival. So many people will choose this time to travel. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but I d like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, it s really a big project. Then I ll hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I can t finish them before Christmas eve. On the weekend I like to spend time in library. I like reading books. There

are many people in the library, but it is very quiet. Nobody talks in the room,

health. We should remember to turn off the phones before sleep. Second, don’t be

too particular about food. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables and less sugars

meat in one week. Last but not least, we should do exercise everyday. There are

In conclusion, if we pay close attention to our health, we can avoid

As important as Spring Festival .It is usually celebrated in September or

Things in the world are changing. People are changing and every creature is

non-smokers are in favor of banning smoking in public places.

In my opinion, I am inclined to support the latter one—smoking should be

banned in public places. There are reasons accounting for my point. For one

thing, people will be harmed by the second-hand smoking if someone smokes in

public places, especially the infants and children. For another, banning smoking

in public places is also beneficial to the smokers. If they are banned to smoke

in public places, they will restrain themselves from smoking and smoke less. In

the meantime, it is a contribution to reduce the air pollution.

Therefore, I advocate that smoking in public places should be banned so

that we can breathe the fresh air and suffer less from the second-hand smoking.
