来到阳明公园的假山上，我把飞雪四处喷，让大地好像下了一场大雪。最后，我只剩一瓶喷雪了，于是，我故意恶作剧：在地上喷了“快乐”二字，忽然，有一个人叫了一声：“小孩别顽皮!”把我吓跑了。

后来，喷漆全没了，我就取出一支随身携带的笔和一把小刀，我先用笔在竹子上写了：“快乐。”然后取出小刀在地上刻：“到此一游。”

晚上，我看了动画片，精彩片段。台历又翻去最后一页，XX年已成为历史，我又长大了，我一定要更加努力学习。

新的一年就要来到了，1月28号是大年三十，过了今天晚上明天就是大年初一了就是XX年了。今年放炮因为“禁改限”的缘故，所以三十晚上的炮声就比往年都要大呢!我把手轻轻放在玻璃上，就可以感觉到玻璃被炮振的在颤动的!

吃完年夜饭，我们全家就坐在一起看春节晚会了，晚会上有一个活动是让我最难忘的，那就是猜“送给台湾的两个大熊猫的名字”!一开始妈妈就说：“送给台湾的大熊猫肯定叫‘团团、圆圆’想都不用想” !于是我和爸爸妈妈都发了短信，写的“团团、圆圆”发送到了电视台的短信平台上。之后呢我们就焦急的等待着晚会公布结果，终于等到主持人公布结果了：“送给台湾的两个大熊猫的名字是……”我和爸爸妈妈都站到电视机前面竖起耳朵仔细的听着，当主持人说出“团团、圆圆”这四个字时，我和爸爸妈妈都高兴的抱在一起激动的大叫起来!虽然一开始妈妈就说过肯定会是团团圆圆的，但是当我们听到结果的时候，也不知道为什么还是那么激动。这是三十晚上最有意思最让我开心的一件事呢。

第二天早晨6点多我就被炮声吵醒了，大年初一到了，可是我心里有点不高兴，因为又要吃三鲜馅儿饺子了!每年初一早晨我都有些不高兴，就是因为我最不爱吃有大虾仁和香菇的饺子，可是没办法不吃就要饿着!我口口难咽的吃完了早饭，穿上新衣服，戴上新围巾和爸爸大爷大妈姑姑等出发去二太太家了。

去二太太家给二太太拜年是我们家每年大年初一的传统，因为二太太是我们家族年龄最大的辈分最大的长辈，二太太已经90多岁了。以前二太太家在白塔寺街边的一个平房里，每年我们家族去拜年的人都要多的站到门外，你们不知道我们家的人真的是特别的多，有大奶奶、三奶奶、四奶奶、五奶奶、六奶奶，光奶奶爷爷就有10几个呢，就更不用说我们爸爸妈妈那辈的人和我们这一辈的小孩们了，真是太多了，连我有时候都弄不清谁是谁，更不用说外人!要用很长的时间都认不全认不清。听妈妈说，妈妈和爸爸刚结婚之后去二太太家拜年，爸爸介绍说这是四叔、妈妈就叫一声，爸爸又介绍这是六叔，妈妈又叫……都介绍完了，结果他们一聊天就来回走动换了位置,才过了一会儿妈妈又搞不清哪个是四叔哪个是大爷了。你们就可想而知我们家人要都在一起有多少，而且初一还不是都能去。今年到是可以都站到屋里，不是去的人少而是二太太搬家了，是楼房。

2014 will be end ,and 2015 will be come. In the new year ,we must be have much wishes, because new year means that things end and another things start. So we need to make a new years resolution in order to the second year will be better. I want to share my new years resolution with you. Firstly, I decide to try my best to learn english. because my english so poor that it affects my other subject. I will face many differences, such as broadening my vocabulary, training my listening, improving my write and so on. I must work hard because I dont want to behind the times. 过度的爱情追求，必然会降低人本身的价值。例如，只有在爱情中，才总是需要那种浮夸陷媚的词令。而在其他场合，同样的词令只能招人耻笑。古人有一句名言：“最大的奉承，人总是留给自己的。”----只有对情人的奉承要算例外。因为甚至最骄傲的人，也甘愿在情人面前自轻自贱。所以古人说得好：“就是神在爱情中也难保持聪明。”情人的这种弱点不仅在外人眼中是明显的，就是在被追求者的眼中也会很明显----除非她也在追求他。所以，爱情的代价就是如此，不能得到回爱，就会得到一种深藏于心的轻蔑，这是一条永真的定律。

Caring for the old is usually 关爱老人在于平时

Each and every year, during Chongyang Festival, citizens of China celebrate the elders in their families and communities. It’s a special tradition which is rooted in the deep value that Chinese culture places on honouring their elders.

每年在重阳节，中国人民会在家里或者社区和他们的老人一起庆祝，这是一种扎根在中国传统敬老文化价值观的特殊传统。

Sadly, many of our aging population are seniors without sons, daughters or grandchildren to visit. While they may have great friends, they no doubt miss the tender and loving relationships unique to families. To fill this void, many volunteers turned up on October 28 at nursing homes around the country in order to spend time with the residents. In some cases, they performed humble gestures of kindness, such as combing their hair or washing their feet.

但是令人沮丧的是，许多上了年纪的人们都是没有儿子、女儿甚至是孙子来探望的。也许他们有很好的朋友们，但是毫无疑问他们都是缺少血缘和爱的特殊家庭。为了填补这一空白，全国各地的志愿者在10月28日出现在敬老院与这些老人相伴。在这些情况下，他们表现地十分谦卑与善良，比如帮他们梳头、洗脚。

While the kind acts were appreciated, one embarrassing story out of Anhui province raised a valuable question. Reportedly, one old gentleman had his feet washed seven times during the day by different volunteers. Is this genuinely caring for the elderly? Many of the residents at the home said that those gestures do not make them feel cared for at all. Their family members or community volunteers may drop by for a few hours of token time, but soon they disappear back into their busy lives.

虽然这种行为值得赞赏，但是发生在安徽的一个令人尴尬的故事提出了一个有价值的问题。据报道，一位老人在一天内七次被不同的志愿者洗脚。这就是所谓的照顾老人吗？许多在家的居民说这些行为并没有让他们感到受到照顾。他们的家人和社区志愿者也许会出现在象征性的几小时中，但是不久之后他们便消失在忙碌的生活中。

There is nothing we can give that is more valuable or appreciated than our time. While you may feel like there is barely enough time to care for your many responsibilities, might it be possible to spare just a moment as you walk home from school to sit with a senior who lives in your community? Just five minutes is not going to prevent you from getting your homework done, but it may totally change a day of loneliness into a day of joy for one old man or woman. Do you live far from your grandparents? Why not pick up the phone and let them know you’re thinking of them? Or maybe you could remind them of the “good old days” and mail them a short letter. Imagine their surprise and joy!

Today, I would like to recommend to you a picture book of traditional

Chinese festivals, Spring Festival.

Spring Festival is the most grand, the most lively and the most important

ancient traditional festival in China. Every Spring Festival, we paste couplets,

red window decorations, and "pour" blessing. But why should the word "Fu" be

pasted upside down? It turns out that the word "Dao" and "Dao" are homophonic,

and vice versa is Fu "Dao". Its like "Fu" is home.

During the Spring Festival, we should not only paste couplets, red window

decorations and "pour" happiness, but also set off firecrackers and fireworks,

and wear red clothes. After reading this book, I realized that there was a

monster called Nian in ancient China. It went to the village to eat cattle,

sheep, chickens, pigs and people every year. Until one year, an old grandfather

who came to the village to beg lived in his wifes house when the villagers went

to avoid animals in the cave. When the "Nian" beast came, he set off

firecrackers in the yard and came out wearing a big red robe. In this way,

"Nian" beast was scared away. Since then, people have pasted couplets, red

window decorations and "Daofu" on their doors. They also set off firecrackers

and fireworks, and put on red clothes. If you are interested, dont read this

book.

Then there is the new years money. Every year on the eve of the Spring

Festival, adults give children lucky money. The original purpose of lucky money

is to suppress evil and expel evil spirits. Because people think that children

are vulnerable to the invasion of ghosts and insects, they use new years money

to drive away evil spirits and help children celebrate the new year safely. I

wish the children good health, good luck and peace in the new year. There is

also an old legend. This legend has something to do with a little demon called

"Sui". You will know after reading this book.

In a word, after reading this book, I gained a lot and also felt the spirit

of Chinese traditional culture. So I want to share with you, hope you will like

it!

chinese new year, pronounced in chinese as "xin nian", always falls on the date of marking the beginning of the spring and thus it is also called the "spring festival". "xin" means "new" and "nian" means "year". there are many stories told about the origin of "nian", which actually is a name of animals.   the old story says that the beast "nian" with a very big mouth was so fierce and could swallow many people in one single bite. people were very scared. an old man offered to subdue "nian" and said to "nian": "i hear that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts instead of people who are by no means of your worthy opponents?" so "nian" swallowed many of the other beasts that hurt people and their domestic animals. the old man turned out to be an immortal god and riding the beast "nian" flied to the heaven. now that "nian" is gone and other beasts were also scared into forests, people began to enjoy their peaceful life. before the old man left, he had told people to put up red paper decorations on their windows and doors at each years end to scare away "nian" in case it sneaked back again, because red is the color the beast feared the most.   from there on, the term "guo nian" has the meaning of "pass-over" or "survive" the "nian". by tradition, chinese businesses had to pay off all debts by the year-end and thus if they could get it over, it is worth for the celebration of the new year.   today people still put up red paper and firing firecrackers as way of celebration. "guo nian" becomes a tradition of celebration for thousand of years.
