As we all know, New year is the start of a year,and Spring Festival is a new start in lunar calendar.Most Chinese like me will celebrate both of them. However, we celebrate the two festivals in many different ways. i like the chinese new year better than any other festival. this is a time especially for rest and joy. i need not study. i wear good clothes and eat good food. i have a good time from morning till night. to be frank with you, i am as happy as a king.

Taking the above-mentioned factors into consideration, I can safely conclude that the Gala just needs a reform in the future but not to be cancelled.

The 23rd day of the 12th lunar month is called Preliminary Eve. At this time, people offer sacrifice to the kitchen god. Now however, most families make delicious food to enjoy themselves.

Store owners are busy then as everybody goes out to purchase necessities for the New Year. 今天，我起得特别早，因为今天我们班举行元旦联欢会。

教室早已经装饰得漂漂亮亮的，黑板上同学们用五彩笔写得“欢庆元旦”四个大字，在字的周围还画了许多美丽的图案。

早上八点联欢会准时开始，第一个为我们表演节目的是李忠鑫，他为我们带来《国旗国旗真美丽》，我们都为他加油打气！接下来由我和几位同学表演了小合唱。节目一个接着一个，大家唱的唱跳的跳，不知不觉两个小时很快就过去了。我们的元旦联欢会圆满结束了。

今天我们可真开心呀！

前几天我们在班级里举办了元旦联欢会。老师要求我们每人准备一首歌，下午要去表演节目。

我们班的小何、小刚、小李都在精心的准备着，只有小王一脸胸有成竹的样子。

联欢会终于要开始了。选手们都带着自己的节目跃跃欲试的上了讲台等待区。台下的同学一个个都兴高采烈的等待着选手入场。随着老师的一声令下，联欢会正式开始。伴随着一阵热烈的掌声，小何上场了。只听他的声音雄浑嘹亮，振奋人心，台下不时传来一阵喝彩声。第二个，小红入场了。听，她的歌声婉转悠扬，令人陶醉，同学们立刻响起热烈的掌声。后面的选手也都依次入场，教室里雷鸣般的掌声连绵不断。

最后一个出场的是小王。只见他昂首挺胸，拿着话筒，踩着舞步，不慌不忙地唱了起来。他的歌声是那么的好听，清脆婉转如行云流水。同学们都惊呆了，个个瞪大了眼睛，张大了嘴巴，露出一副惊讶的表情。还有人满脸疑惑的说：“小王的嗓门怎么一下子变得那么好了?”台下的人全都沸腾了，热烈的喝彩声一浪高过一浪，掌声一潮高过一潮。

I Don’t Like Spring Festival Any More

Spring Festival was my favorite Chinese festival when I was a child. At that time, I had a great time.
