Almost every kid will be asked the question of whom do you like better,

your mother or your father. There is no doubt that mother is very great as she

gives you the life, while father is also of importance. Father’s Day is invented

to show gratitude to fathers. Its coming has a story.

The first person to propose the idea of Father’s Day was Mrs. Dodd in 1906.

She wanted a special day to honor her father, whose wife passed away many years

ago. At first, Mrs. Dodd wanted Father’s Day to be celebrated on her father’s

birthday, but later President Johnson signed a paper to declare the third Sunday

of June was Father’s Day. Since then, it became an international day. It is not

only to honor one’s father, but also the fathers of all the people.

Father’s Day reminds people to show gratitude to their fathers, who loves

you all the time and no matter what difficulty you meet, he will stand by your

side. So however busy we are, we should call them now and then.

Last week, our teacher gave us a task. We needed to interview some people

and collect different opinions. At first, I felt it a difficult task, because I

was such a shy person that I dared not to talk to strangers. In order to finish

the task, I cooperated with my classmates. They helped me to ask people for a

second, then I started to talk with them in a comfortable way. I felt much eased

soon and no longer felt shy. Now I get over my fear and become stronger. This is

the good sign of growing up. I am so thankful to my classmates. Without their

help, I wont go that far.

Its Sunday today. I got up early and did my homework on the table. All of a

sudden I remembered the mothers day, a picture of my mind, remembering a past

thing that moved me.

Thats the case. After coming home from school that afternoon, my mother came

back. I found that my mother was very tired, his eyes were squinting, and I

yawned. So she sent me to do my homework at home. But I felt very sad to see my

mother working so hard, so I decided to share the housework for my mother. I

When we are very small, we dream to be the great person in the future, such

as the scientist, the policeman and so on. It is good for the children to own

the big dream, so that they will study hard and fight for their future. But the

fact is that not all the person can become the great person, most people are

People have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be

involved in an acci dent. With the development of industry and population

expansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.

One solution is to lay down more roads. The solution has many advantages.

For ex ample, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many

main streets. But it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more

crowded. Another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. If more bus lines

should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be

greatly decreased. But the disadvantage of this solution is that many people

wouldn’t feel so convenient os they used to.

In my opinion, the right solution to the problem is the combination of the

two, thatis, to lay down more roads in spacious areas and to open up more bus

lines in downtown.

In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a dream

means that we have an idea, and then we will do all the things to achieve the

target. As long as we have a goal to be realized, we won’t be blind at

least.

My dream is to become a successful stateman, helping those people who need

help with their rights. Of course, to be a good stateman is very difficult, but

I will do whatever I can do to keep everyone satisfied. Thats my dream. I want

to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country. China is a

developing country which needs good stateman,especially in the countryside and

distant villages.

Now I’m a junior student on Grade One, My dream is also that although at

present I’m good at study, I’ll still try my best to be the study winner. Now

everything I do is close to my dream. I feel life is fill with hope and is

colorful, and I have enough confidence to realize my dream.
