我的家乡在勤劳村，现在的家乡和以前的家乡的已无法相比了。

以前，我的家乡有一片一望无际的竹林，竹林中茂盛的竹子像一位位勇敢的士兵，保护着我们的家园。但是现在，这些士兵像是吃了什么，都一个个病倒了，再也保护不了我的家园了。

以前的树林葱茏茂密，到处都是花草树木的清香，可是现在太令人失望了，人们大肆破坏，砍伐树木，小鸟和其他动物失去了它们的家园，都纷纷离开了。

以前，湘潭大街小巷里到处都是垃圾，臭气熏天。也看不到湛蓝的天空，只能看见灰蒙蒙的一片。马路边，只有几棵未老先衰的小树，叶片稀少得可怜。它仿佛在向人们哭诉：“啊，这里环境太恶劣了！救救我吧！人们，快点醒悟吧！”现在山清水秀，这变化堪称最大的工程—翻天覆地啊。我期待湘潭变得越来越好。

我曾经梦见，湘潭的天空变得一尘不染，空气十分清新，透着一股鲜花的芬芳气息。大街小巷干干净净，没有一点垃圾，我希望湘潭能变成我梦中的样子。

看，我们城市里的河流的河水发黑发臭;排成长龙的汽车放出大量的废气；成片的绿地变成“石屎森林”；那清脆的鸟叫声消失得无影无踪。假如再这样下去，中国将继续贫乏水资源，空气将变得愈来愈浑浊，本世纪将有10%的鸟类物种消失。上述的事情，我们人类是罪魁祸首！

人人皆知：树木能吸收二氧化碳，排放氧气，净化空气，是我们人类生存的必要的条件。但是有一些人为了金钱去乱砍滥伐树木，造成了过度的水土流失，使大地的植被受到严重的破坏，绿洲和城市也荒漠化，我们人类的生存受到了威胁。就我们平时用的一次性筷子，每天都要耗费数十亩的森林，在那些人眼中，树木除了可以做家具和建筑材料外，似乎没有任何价值。

难道还有人不懂树木对我们意味着什么吗 我们居住面积已经很小了，假如再这样下去，可能连我们唯一的土地都失去。

还有，我们的母亲河——黄河近年来河床和含沙量不断增高，成为全国污染最严重的几条江河之一。我们不能眼睁睁地看着黄河从我们手中枯竭，因而有许多环境学者纷纷研究治理黄河污染的方案，试图改善黄河的水质。但假如没有我们的共同参与，我们这个生命的摇篮——黄河将会走向衰竭和死亡。

前几天我在公园里看见别人乱扔垃圾，我就想到我家乡的那条小溪，简直跟以前相差十万八千里。

原来这条小溪是非常清澈的，能看水底下游来游去的小鱼、小虾和绿如丝带的小草。岸边的小草穿上嫩绿的衣服，柳树抽出嫩绿的叶子，空气清新。

记得在我五岁那一年，才发生污染的现象。那一次工厂里的水流进了那条小溪里，小溪被污染了，还有农民在那条小溪旁种了庄稼，农民给那些生病虫的庄稼打农药。下雨了，雨和农药一起流到小溪。还有不懂得保护环境的人把垃圾扔到小溪里，这些行为把小溪污染得黑黑的、臭臭的，小溪里再也没有游来游去的的小鱼和小虾了。

他们觉得这样还不够，于是他们又把一棵棵树给砍倒，还把一堆堆垃圾给烧了，弄得乌烟滚滚，天空跟天黑了似的。我真想对破坏环境的人说：“请保护环境，好吗？再不住手，就会害了我们人类自己的。”

一个美好的家园是需要大家一起保护的，所以我们人人有责。

随着工业的发现，我们身边的污染越来越多，身边的环境也变得越来越差了。在这样下去，我真不知道我们的地球会变成什么样子。

就说我家西边的小河吧!以前，这条小河清澈见底，有很多小鱼小虾在里面自由自在地游着，整天过着无忧无虑的生活，小河里充满了生机。那时我很喜欢到那里玩。现在，由于大城市的工地随意的排放污水，还有人们不断的乱扔垃圾。那条生机勃勃的小河不见了，变成了一条臭烘烘的污河，我再也不喜欢那里了!

如今，许多野生动物成为了人们盘中的美食。如果没有这些可爱的动物，我们的生活就会变得特别无趣。早晨起来，不能听到小鸟叽叽喳喳清脆的叫声，那多不好啊!

片片森林变成了座座工厂。草地变成了荒原，美丽的草原变成了沙漠。这究竟是为什么?这是因为人们乱砍乱伐造成的。

人类要靠环境生存，环境要靠人类保护。难道人类还要等到地球毁灭的那一刻才醒悟吗?
