People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

Until now I’m not sure if I really have interest in teaching, although I, as a free normal student, am supposed to be a teacher in the future. Once I dreamed to be a businesswoman or an official, while it seemed that the choice, which I made out of having no way out one year ago, changed everything. I don’t want to live far away from my parents, so I will choose stay in the city I belong to, so that I can go home and visit my parents all the time. Some people choose to go to the big city and fight for their future, while I’d rather to work in the small city and live a normal life. The future I design is perfect for me.

Today, I was so excited because I finally became a high school student,

which meant my life came to a new chapter. On the first day, my parents went

with me to school. They brought my luggage and helped me to finish the

registration. I was so impressed by the slogan that was tagged on the main gate,

which was Help Your Parents Carry Luggage. When I saw those words, I realized

most of us carried nothing at hand, but our parents did the job. We are almost

16 and not a little kid anymore, so it is natural for us to learn grow up and

become independent. Taking luggage is just a small symbol for us to be

independent. We need to complete all the things by ourselves in the following

three years. When we can handle our stuff by ourselves, we are mature.

Different countries have different customs and different ways to celebrate

festival.

In our China, we have a variety of festivals, of which celebrating way

is different. For example, we will eat mooncake in Mid-autumn Festival and have

dragon boat races in the Dragon Boat Festival and eat zongzi.

But in some

extend, we celebrate all the festivals in the same way. Every family will have a

big meal with their family. It is a time for family gathering. No matter what

kind of celebrating way for a festival, it is the time to enjoy life.

What will the future be? There are likely to be numerous potential breakthroughs and achievements in science and technology.

Solutions to current social and economic problems will be found.

In the field of industry, agriculture and service industry, possible products and manufacturing methods might be realized.

Hi-tech industry could develop faster.The living environment will be cleaner and satisfactory.

People will lead a carefree life.Higher education will be available to every knowledge-thirsty person.

It is hard to detail visions on people’s beautiful life.

Future is indeed like a riddle, some areas of which are beyond the reach of our imagination.

Nevertheless, one thing is certain: the advancement of science and technology will characterize the future.

Only through mastering advanced science and technology can a nation be successful in facing more challenges of technological revolution and social progress.
