it is true that summer is hot, very hot. but the wicked summer sun is nothing to me, for i don‘t usually go out. what i like to do best during the long summer vacation is to stay in my own little room and read. i love to read, but during the school year i could hardly find a free moment for reading. endless assignments press down upon me like a mountain.

i feel confined and imprisoned. once the summer vacation comes, however, i have all the time in the world to read and read and read.

I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation.

We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and

exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Walls history. They thanked us a lot

I have lost two netputers, but I had another one. I bought it about five years ago. It can be called curio. Though it was old. But it can still work. Although it works slowly, I was pleased. I can go on internet again. Chatting with my friends is a good relaxing. In the internet, one of my old friends invited me to tomorrow’s party. He told me that some friends would go, too. Mom said today is Christmas Eve, no homework, great! I went out to dinner

vegetables, meats and rice. They have a short rest after lunch. Supper is about

at six in the evening. All the family eat together, they eat the same kind of

food as the lunch. Some people like to have some fruits after the meal.

There is no doubt that learning English is vital for us. On the one hand,

English has become an international language that people can communicate with

each other in many countries. On the other hand, if we learn English well, we

could get more chance of success.

However, it is well-known that there are many methods for us to learn

English well. There are some tips. First, we can study in a group to improve

learning efficiency. Second, we could listen to English songs and watch English

movies; this way is very suitable for student to improve their listening and

speaking abilities. Third, I have believed that a great deal of practice can
