My Hometown

No matter where I am, I find it hard to resist the tempting call of my hometown. Situated at the northern tip of Anhui province, my hometown, Dangshan county, is the junction of four provinces. They are respectively in Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong and Henan.

My hometown is the northern gate of Anhui province, located in the southern end of the Huanghuai plain, and also a bridgehead for the Eurasia continental bridge.

During Thanksgiving activities, I did many things, help mom and dad to help

Chritmas is the day that Jesus Christ was born. People in the world

celebrate and worship this day in his honor. The santa claus will come out and

send presents for children. Christmas cards and decorated trees are all over the

place. The carolling of Christmas songs echo through the air. I am not a

Chirstian, but I also enjoy the atmosphere of Chrismas. I wish everybody have a

The animal is the friend of our human beings. We live in the same earth. Animals and human beings can’t be separated from each other. But some animals are getting less and less. So it’s necessary for us to protect animals, especially wild animals. Some people kill wild animal because of money. It’s illegal. Beside, because of the development of society, human needs more space to live in, so we explore the forest. Animals have less space to live in. The number of wild animals decreases year by year. It’s high time to take actions to protect wild animals.

Our classroom is big and bright.

Opposite the door are clean windows. In the front of the classroom is a platform. Teachers&’ desk is just on it. A blackboard is on the front wall. There are 30 desks and 50 chairs in our classroom. On the wall next to the blackboard is a map. It is a map of Germany. Our classroom is very clean.

Everyone in my class loves our classroom. It&’s our common home.

The socialist market-oriented economy in our country is developing rapidly， just like a truck running at a high speed. But the general public is surprised to find that there are more and more fake and inferior products seriously hampering the expansion of our marker economy. Consumers have to be very careful in purchasing goods and services they need; otherwise they will fall into the traps set by the illegal manufacturers who make fake and inferior products.

There is no doubt that fake and inferior products are extremely harmful. In the first place， they endanger people’s health， giving rise to a lot of injury accidents. For instance， inferior-quality medicines not only aggravate a patient’s condition， but also tend to threaten his life and， what’s worse， to result in his death. Secondly， fake and inferior products are usually sold on the cheap. In many cases they interfere with the normal economic order in our country， affecting the market of many high-quality goods. This in a great degree， hinders the development of our socialist market economy and harms the interests of our state. Therefore， we can say that fake and inferior products are a dangerous “tumor” in our healthy economy， which must be cut away as soon possible.

In my opinion， several strong measures should be adopted to fight against fake and inferior products. On the one hand， those who make them must be severely punished by the law. On the other hand， due to the growing complexity of the market， consumers are often faced with deceptive practices. Although there are laws designed to protect consumers， there is not a sufficient number of law enforcers to cover all the abuses of the marketplace. My grandparents are still living, but they don’t live with us. Their health is good and they both do sports very early in the morning. My grandmother does gymnastics with elderly women her age in the park. Both of my grandfathers play basketball in the morning and sometimes they go swimming.

Chinese people eat rice for every meal, but i don’t like rice because i think it is tasteless! we eat meat, fish and vegetables. My family eats noodles and congee. my favorite is noodles.

I often play computer games because i like it so much. I often watch Japanese cartoon movies with my parents on the weekends. On long holidays we take trips, too.

lakes and bridges. It is the paradise of my new life. I think it is a special

place. It makes me relaxed and happy.

So I think Zhejiang University is equal to giving me a new life.

I enjoy the vew life, enjoy the things and people here.

The Spring Festival this year, I have been very happy, thirty years, my father and I together with antithetical couplet, Lunar New Years day, get up early, put on new clothes, my father and I set off firecrackers, the whole family together to eat dumplings, Grandpa and grandma to pay New Years call, they gave me a gift money, the whole family together to play in the park this year, the Spring Festival is happy.

It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today， there are many business in my mother‘s company. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mother’s company. The tomb sweeping day is one of the traditional festivals in China. On April 5th, people start to visit their ancestors’ tombs. Generally speaking, people will bring the home-made food, some fake money and paper-made mansion to their ancestors. When they start to honour their ancestor, they will light up some candles and incense, put some flowers around the tombs.

The most important thing is to put the home-made food in front of the tombs. The food, also known as sacrifices, is usually made up with a chicken, a fish and some pork. It’s a symbol of the offspring’s respect to the ancestors. People believe that the forbears will share the food with them. The children dedicate the food and money to their forbears in order to show their love and caring. The young offspring will go down on their knees and pray for their ancestors. They can say their wishes in front of the tombs and the ancestors will make their dreams come true.

In some provinces of China, people use different activities to commemorate this day, for instance, spring-outing, swinging, tree planting and making special food. One special food is Ay Tsao rice balls. It looks like Tang-yuan, but its colour is green. Mix the ay tsao juice with the rice powder, then make it into small balls. The Ay Tsao rice ball is done. People believe that eating ay tsao rice balls can get rid of the bad luck and everything will go smoothly. Other activities such as spring outing, tree planting are the other ways to commemorate the forbears. For one thing, it is a sign that people should look into the future and embrace the hope; for another thing, we do hope our ancestor rest in peace.

Today and friends of foreign travel，outside air is very good，people feel very comfortable.We all appreciate the fine girls bicycles.We enjoyed the beautiful nature brought.We happily spent a happy day.
