A Polluted Environment

Environmental pollution is a serious social problem. It poses a terrible threat to men’s health.

The atmosphere is filthy. The air is thick with dust and burnt oil. Dark smokes are being emitted from chimneys, and choking fumes are being

released from numerous vehicles. Stay a little while in a big city, then wipe your forehead with your handkerchief, it is black. Hang out your

Spring Festival is my favourite festival. This years Spring Festival is in February 8th.

On New Years Eve, everyone will wear new clothes. My parents and I will go to the Grandpa and grandmas home to eat Nian Yefan. This is the tradition of our family. At the dinner table, my grandmother will prepare a lot of dishes for us to cook hot pot.

Cattle are one cause of the problem. In good years, famers increase the numbers of their cattle. Then one year, the rains fail to come. If this continues for several years, the grass never grows again and the land becomes a desert. One suggested answer is for farmers to limit the numbers of their cattle.

有一次，我和妈妈一起出去买东西。回来的路上，妈妈正专心致志地开车，我则在观赏四周的景色。忽然，我看见在我们前面的“奥迪”车里，有人扔出了一个铁罐，可能是车里的人刚刚喝完饮料吧。“真不文明”我在心里狠狠地骂了一声。我还没来得及提醒妈妈，我们的汽车已经飞驰而过。“哐——”十分响亮的一声，把妈妈吓了一跳。“压着什么东西了?”妈妈自言自语。“没事，一个铁罐。”我答道，并转过头去看那倒在地上的铁罐，看着一辆辆车在它身上飞快地驶过。

人类的过度贪婪，地球上宝贵被毫无节制地开采出来。与此同时，生态平衡遭到破坏，环境严重受到污染.终于在2020年的一天，一场前所未有的环保大战，在美丽繁华的世纪中心打响了。

“铃铃铃……”随着一阵急促了电话响声，一位环保博士被吵醒了，这位环保博士就是12年后的我。我揉了揉惺忪的睡眼，拿起电话，问道：“喂，你好，我是环保博士，有什么事吗？”只听电话传来焦急的声音：“博士，大事不妙了，三只不明怪物正逼近世纪中心，请您马上赶来支援。”“好，我马上到。”挂上电话，我叫上我的机器人助手——卡里克斯，带上我的环保枪，骑上光速摩托，奔赴世纪中心。

到了现场眼前的一切把我惊呆了：“好几栋摩天大楼已断成几截人们惊慌失措，发疯似地乱跑，地上还有几堆冒着泡泡、发着恶臭的毒液。一座美丽繁华的城市，就在这些怪物的脚下，顷刻间变成了破烂不堪的废墟了。

“看，博士！怪物在那边。”顺着卡里克斯所指的方向，我看见了三只面目可怕的巨型怪物。“左边的是沿受污染最严重的金海岸的章鱼，右边是垃圾山上的巨头苍蝇，中间是潮湿阴暗中的蟑螂。”卡里克斯分析着它们的资料，“这些怪物体形之所以巨大，主要是因为地球环境受到严重污染，它们的基因受到改变，因而错误进化成巨型怪物。”

听了卡里克斯的话，我感到事情十分严重。我马上下达命令：“卡里克斯，准备战斗！”我朝着怪物大声喊：“住手，怪物！”正在破坏的怪物看了看我，讲了一大通让人听不懂的话，卡里克斯启动了翻译功能，说：“你是谁，不想死的，马上滚蛋。”听到这些不可一世的家伙的狂妄话语，我火冒三丈，举起环保枪，瞄准巨头苍蝇，猛射一枪，这死苍蝇便化为一股浓烟，消失了。我的环保枪里含有高温杀虫药剂，它还不明白怎么一回事，便惨死在我的枪下了。

3月26日 春游过后，我对“熄灯一小时”的活动产生了兴趣。一回到家，就向亲戚朋友倡议了这项活动，大家听了我的提议后，表示也要帮着我告诉另外的人，让更多的人加入到这个行列中来。果然，一传十、十传百，不出一个小时。就有50多个人知道这项活动了，我高兴极了。

3月27日 正是我的上生日，让我感到十分的荣幸。事实上，我早已想到了一个一举两得的计划：关上电灯、电视，点上蜡烛，和家人一起来一场“烛光晚宴”，这样不但开心的过了生日，还完成了“熄灯一小时”的任务，真是十全十美。

28日晚，送走了参加生日会的同学们。当我正要坐电梯上楼时，看见电梯门口的墙上被轻轻的写上了“熄灯吧！”三个字，走进电梯，又看见电梯门上有一点点胶粘的痕迹，仔细一看，地上有一张纸条，上面写着“地球是我的宝贝，宝贝需要我们爱护它。”虽然我不知道是谁写的，单我却别他的行为深深地感动了。

回到家里，妈妈立即就招呼我到阳台上。我往下一看，呀！我们学校不愧是个环保学校，所有的灯都被关上了，只有校门口有一点点微弱的灯光，我想：那一定是传达室的阿伯在看守着学校。

我摩拳擦掌的进了客厅，想着：超过学校！一声下令，“一盏灯也不留”。爸爸妈妈和外婆立即关上灯，拔掉了所有的插头。妈妈也准备好了蜡烛，点上了火，就这样，一场快乐的“烛光晚宴”就开始了。
