Traditionally, the Laba rice porridge is the most important element of the festival. + 加入清单从浩瀚太空，遥望地球，地球就像一个白里透蓝的玻璃球。蔚蓝的海洋，褐色的陆地，绿色的森林、草原，银线般闪闪发亮的河流，朵朵的云漂浮在上空，流出一幅幅清丽而柔和的画卷。地球的美丽而柔和的画倦，地球是美丽的星球，地球的美丽并不是仅仅在于它拥有这份罕见的蓝色，更在于它用几十年亿年的时间孕育了绿色的生命，地球迄今为止。地球是我们发现唯一拥有生命的星球，地球因生命而孤独，地球也因生命而美丽。
然而，随着现代人类科学技术和经济的空前发展地球——我们赖以生存的家园，也在人类征服和改造自然环境的过程中，遭受到了空前的戕害，漫漫黄沙代替了莽莽林海，曾经孕育灿烂古文化的江河经常变成干涸的河床，原本瑰丽的风景湮没为荒野，还有地下水位下降，气候变暖，冰川融化，大气污染，臭氧层空洞，破坏性风暴增增多，海平面升高，生物种类锐减……在长期掠夺资源后，地球其及居民好像进入一个高风险的地区，在危险的地方，全球性变暖，气候和土壤、河流及海洋的污染处处威胁着人们，水和森林等自然资源的生存还不以说明问题吗？大量的垃圾在不断产生，环境日益恶化的警钟早已敲响了，但是，对于环境恶化进程的遏止仍显得过于无力，尽管大自然已向人类亮起红灯。
人类赖以生存的地球是一个自然、社会、经济、文化等多因素构成的复合系统，地球不仅属于我们人类，相反，我们人类属于地球，我们人类和其他生物都在一个家园中，但是，近2000年来，地球上有106种哺乳动物和127种鸟类灭绝，濒临灭绝的哺乳动物就有406种，鸟类593种，爬行动物209种，鱼类242种，天呀！这是一个多么令人吃惊的数目。
绿色的地球是我们人类不息载体只有人与自然协调发展，才能共同拥有美好的明天。如果人类真的自觉去植树造林，保护环境，那就不会有植树节，世界环境保护环境日，世界禁烟日等等节日，这些都告诫我们要保护环境，古言说得好：“地力之生物有大数，人力之成物有大限，取之有度，用之有节。则常足，取之无度，用之无节，则常不足。”但是几百年后的现代文明却使我们绿色的星球日渐披黄蒙黑，黯然失色。
来吧，让我们一起来保护我们这个美丽而脆弱的地球吧！因为，只有人类的心灵才能够知足这份美丽，善待地球——人类唯一的星球，我们别无选择。
