I am writing to express my opinion about the current policy on the official holidays, such as Spring Festival and Golden Week Holiday. As you might know, some believe it is a good idea to enjoy a week-long break. For one thing, it provides enough time for people to refresh their minds and thus to have better preparations for their future work. For another, it will lead to increased tourism and in turn stimulate the development of the local economy.

Truly, the past decade has witnessed many advantages of the official holidays, but we should never ignore its disadvantages. On the one hand, it may lead to heavy traffic in that a large number of tourists go on traveling during the same Period, thus, it might cause air pollution. 昨天放学时，天气非常炎热，我下楼没看见爷爷，就借同学手机打了个电话，然后我等了几分钟，爷爷就来了。

我上了车一边与爷爷闲聊，一边看着路边的风景。

突然我看到公路上有一个毛茸茸的小东西，是老鼠吗?怎么可能，怎么可能有这么大的老鼠，我又仔细看了看，这小东西正摇着它那蓬松的大尾巴，呀!是松鼠!太神奇了，居然在大马路上看见了松鼠。它好像要过马路似的左顾右盼的，好像不怕人，我们电瓶车走过，也没有引起它的恐慌。这时一辆路虎朝它飞驰而来，我心里一阵担忧，心跳顿时加快，仿佛有什么大事情要发生似的。一瞬间这辆路虎飞快超过我们，也穿过了这只松鼠，一声清脆的咔嚓声传入我的耳膜，是那样的惊天动地，我看着松鼠在半空中翻了几圈又啪的一声掉在路上，就一动也不动，一点生息也没有了。顿时一种莫名的悲伤涌上了我的心头。为一个鲜活的生命逝去而痛心。

“喂!好的……”一个满面胡渣的男子接过电话，兴高采烈的开着车离去，我不知道他要干什么，但是看样子一定是要干什么坏事。

第二天很快到来了，阳光明媚，鸟语花香。我舒服的躺在树上的鸟窝里，沐浴着从树叶间洒入的光芒，一切都如静止般，连树叶沙沙的声音都听得见。这已经是地球上唯一一片没有人来过的森林了，四处生机勃勃，奇花异草遍地都是，可是就在昨天，一位中年男子来过，我们大家都知道，这样的好日子为时不多了。

“轰轰——”果不其然，那人又开着车过来了，只是旁坐多了些东西，脸上挂着有些可怕的笑容，嘴里还在嘀咕着什么，大家纷纷聚在一起，松鼠说，他是个恶魔;蝴蝶却不以为然，觉得他是好人;许多动物都准备好了行囊，准备离开。

终于，他下了车，一手拿着锯子，一手握着板凳，身上还背着个斧子，和一条又粗又长的黄绳子。呀!大事不妙，是伐木工!同伴们也瞧见了，急得直跺脚，大树爷爷也是，叶子都拉拢下来。我心想：“这可怎么办?我一定要保护我的家园，无论有多危险!”

不一会儿，伐木工便来到了我所居住的树下面，他张大嘴巴，又瞪大了眼睛，叫到：“天呢!这么粗壮的一棵树，我可发财喽!”说完他放下背包，抡起锯子就向树爷爷挥去，树爷爷惊恐万状，大喊：“快跑呀!小啄木鸟。”眼看着锯子要砍倒树爷爷了，我闭上眼睛，向伐木人用力啄去，“唉吆喂，我不砍了，不砍了，求你别啄我了，我漂亮的头发呀!”

但当我走道那里，低头一看的时候，却把我惊呆了。地上有许多垃圾。废纸、烟头、塑料袋等。这些到处都是，一块绿色的草坪，在游人的破坏下成了一片环境污染地，这是多么严重的环境问题。

面对这块草坪，使我们愤怒不已，努力去消除那些垃圾。经过我们100分钟的劳动，草坪终于恢复到了最初的美丽，名花齐葩争芳斗艳。我们不禁感叹：原来地球也是很美的呀!

我们的祖国是美丽的母亲，她土地辽阔、气候温暖、物产丰富，正因为祖国山清水秀，我们的祖先才选择生活在这里。
