空气污染，地球变暖，已成为现实社会不争的事实了。你看路边那些不文明的人乱扔白色垃圾；那来来往往、络绎不绝的汽车已启动，只见浓烟不见阳光；那生物间和平的使者、青蛙成了人们的桌上佳肴；那本来活泼的小鱼儿在污水河里翻上了白肚皮；那大片的林木被砍伐，一阵沙尘暴吹的光想房倒屋塌，

回想老人们说的小桥流水人家、鸟语花香天下，只能在公园里也许会见到人工的匠心独运，现实中我们二十一世纪的新人还无缘见到。

世界很大，也就代表垃圾也很多。扔在地上的香蕉皮会让人摔跤，草地上的大树也成为受害者，吃完就随手一扔，很容易扔到大树。大树会很容易发臭，有蚂蚁爬来爬去，严重的还会枯萎。

爱护环境有个小故事。有天早上，我在校园的操场上看见一个男孩子，吃完了零食就随手把包装袋扔在了地上。我赶紧跑上去，说：“你这样做不对。会破坏校园环境。”我还叫他把垃圾扔在垃圾箱里。小男孩看我一眼，就立刻跑开了。我弯下腰拾起包装袋放进了垃圾箱。老师表扬了我，我很高兴呢！

其实我觉得环保不光是大人的事，也是我们小学生应尽的责任和义务。其实，绿化家园，保护生态，不是一件遥不可及的壮举。环保，从自己做起！行动，从身边的一点一滴的小事做起！

One day,I went to school as Usually. All of a sudden,I heard a voice

crying.I knew there were something wrong . So I walked towards the direction of

the voice .Then I found a child and his mother wandered off.My heart full of

compassion . So I decided to help him find his mother , and I took him to the

police station nearby . Then I went to school in a hurry , but when I arrived,I

found I’m still late . After my teacher’s preaching , I went back to the

classroom .I was so upset.

In the afternoon, my teacher asked me go out,he said he had wronged me. And

then I saw the child’s mother,she thanked me a lot,and I smiled shyly.

After the thing,I feel very happy to do good things,and I believe that

“give cake and ale to perfect soul”.

The environmental issue is getting worse almost every day in cities with very large population. As is often the case, city development outpaces environmental protection. People consume great amount of natural resources and produce wastes. To effectively address such problems, cities need to spend big money. In addition, they need to call to the attention of people to become more environmentally responsible.

Many people are becoming less responsible and easily influenced by bad behaviors. “Why should I care while others shouldn’t?” Such idea makes some people only concern with places where they live and work. Furthermore, people sometimes even purposely litter for revenge to other people.

Although media promotes environmental awareness, good people are often snubbed as posers who try to set up a superior image in real life. Consequently, they are intimated of receiving negative comments for doing the right thing. Wrong as it is, such phenomenon is widespread especially among youngsters and people with low income and little education.

However, our society is waging a campaign against environmental pollution. People learn the harms of un-degradable lunch boxes and other polluting wastes. Laws in many countries prohibit or limit excessive use of polluting bags. Companies are continually replacing the old materials with more environmental friendly and recyclable kinds. Scientists have developed more effective technologies in waste treatment. As time goes by, more and more people put high priority on the protection of environment for a healthier life.

To sum up, people produce huge amount of garbage and the environment is seriously polluted because of lack of financial resources, sense of responsibility, or efforts. But the world will not turn into a “throw away” society if people put in sufficient efforts to protect our environment.

一直以来，生态环境是人们生活的基本条件，如今却已被我们破坏，原来的丛林沙漠化，比如撒哈拉大沙漠。还有水源污染、破坏森林、砍伐树木、空气污染……。我们将自己的家园破坏，不善待我们唯一的地球，等到地球到达它不能承受的时候，它就会反过来惩罚我们。

就拿乱扔垃圾来说吧，人们经常乱扔垃圾，烟头、槟榔渣、零食袋……却没人站出来说这是不对的，环境就会为这一件小小的事情被破坏，如果地球上60亿都乱扔垃圾，后果真是不堪设想。

从前，有一个荒废的小村庄，那里一片荒凉，满目疮痍，完全看不见绿植的存在。

之后，有一批人来到了这个荒芜的地方，看着眼前贫瘠的土地，他们不忍心任其荒废下去，便齐心协力一起种树，立志让它恢复生机。在大家的共同努力下，小村庄逐渐变得生气起来，绿色也渐渐出现在人们的视野当中。

他们选出了村长，制定管理环境，他说每砍一棵树，就要种一棵树，以此来维护平衡。

每年植树节的时候，他们都会在自己家门口的花坛里种些树。过了许多年，有的树成了参天大树，有的结了许多果子，还有一些刚刚种下长成的小树苗。一代又一代，生生不息，朝气盎然！

就是因为他们不断种树，才能绿化环境；就是这样，他们抵挡了好几场洪水和风沙；就是这样，他们生活的幸福安康！

记得最近巾山公园在重建，重新栽上了许多小树，它们仅仅只到我们膝盖这么高，偶然一次去那里时，竟然看到了这样的一幕：两个六七岁大的孩子不知用什么将其中一颗树的分叉全部剪断，拿在他手里当作剑和刀玩耍。他的家长发现后，只是轻声责骂了几句，并没有对其进行实质性的教育。六七岁的两个孩子不懂事，这样就胡做乱做情有可原，但家长若不从小培养他们保护树木，爱护环境的责任，长大后又怎么会有这样的意识？他们不仅残害了一个个小小的生命，更是对大家不负责任。

毁坏树木千夫指，爱护树木万人颂。保护树木是我们每一个人的义务和责任。如今大气污染严重，更是需要这一排排“钢铁战士”挺身而出。为此，我向大家提出保护树木的几点建议：

1、不破坏树木，不攀折枝干，不贪一时小便宜，为走近路，踩坏小树苗。

2、爱护树木，在家尽可能多种植绿色植物，并细心照料，为自己的生活，增添一份绿意，一份美好。

3、看到别人破坏树木，上前劝说并阻止，鼓励他完成以上两点。

4、少用一次性用品，如木筷，饭盒，它们也是有树木所制成的。

5、保护木质家具，减少对树木的间接损失。

一份倡议，一个承诺，一种责任。不要让保护树木空成为一种口号，更要让它成为实际行动。

最近“老龟医院”的病人的越来越多，大部分都是被一些狩猎武器而弄伤的，小兔子腿断了，小猴子的尾巴断了一半，小羊的手受伤了……动物医院到处是病人，病床也睡满了。

森林召开了紧急的会议商议对策。虎王(动物王国的国王)觉得这样下去不行，就召开了一次动物王国会议，每一个动物都要参加。在会议上动物们议论纷纷，“猎人们太过分了!”小兔子气愤的说。“我们家族都失踪了好几个同伴了，这一定也是猎人们干的好事!”小狗家族的族长说。

“大家听好了，森林就是我们的家，我们的家就应该由我们来保护，不需要依靠别人，我们自己就可以!明天早上7点，大家来王宫集合，我们一定要赶走那些伤害我们家园的猎人们，保护我们的家园!”虎王宣布道。“好，我们要保护我们的家园”!动物们群情激奋，振臂高呼。

到了第二天早上7点，王宫里挤满了动物，举着动物王国的旗子，向着猎人的村落行进。到了夜晚，动物们开始行动了“巡逻小队，出发!”一群小猴子，爬过栏杆，轻轻地把猎人的开门钥匙偷到手，把门打开，其他动物们全部跑了进来，“震动小队，向前攻击!”一群大象，在前面不停的踩踏，把猎人们全部震醒，猎人拿着枪，跑了出来，把枪对准动物们，“防守小队，上前!”一群河马拿着一个个盾牌来到动物的前方，把一颗颗子弹挡了下来，“攻击小队，上前，开始攻击!”一只只小刺猬来到前方，用自己身体的刺去猎人。“猛爪小队，冲上去!”一只只老虎奔了上去，用自己锋利爪牙横扫猎人们。“毒牙小队，上前!”一只只毒蛇用自己的毒液射向猎人，猎人们见了，带着伤，落荒而逃……“耶!我们胜利了!”动物们欢呼着，然后救出了自己的同伴，一起开开心心的回家了。

我的家乡荆门有山有水，这里风光秀丽，环境优美。全城到处是高楼大厦，宽阔平坦的道路上，汽车来来往往，川流不息。公路两旁的树林密密层层，郁郁葱葱。公园里百花盛开，争奇斗艳。好一个美丽的荆门。

然而有些人不遵守社会公德，却把这美丽的风景给破坏了。比如乱扔垃圾，乱涂乱画，最为严重的是，每到五月收割菜籽、麦子的时候，附近的村民自以为省事，就把秸秆就地焚烧。因此，荆门的空气遭了殃，天空总是灰蒙蒙的，浓浓的黑烟，像一条黑色巨龙匍匐在天空，弥漫到整个城市，即使用望远镜也看不到雄伟的岚光阁和东宝塔。这种烟雾一直要持续十几天才会慢慢散去。

有一天，我到奶奶家去，见奶奶家门窗紧闭，我不解地问奶奶：“大晴天，您为什么不开窗透气呢？”奶奶把窗子打开一点小缝，这时一股浓浓的烟味扑鼻而来。奶奶说：“现在村民在焚烧秸秆，加上热电厂冒出的浓烟，不仅污染了环境，而且有毒空气吸多了，还会给人体健康带来危害，特别容易得上呼吸道疾病。如支气管炎、过敏性鼻炎……还容易让视觉产生模糊。所以有些人为了预防这病，都不敢开窗户，有些人还带上了口罩。

听了奶奶的话，我大吃一惊，保护环境太重要了。我是一名少先队员，保护家乡的环境，从我做起。我向全社会发出倡议：不能为了图省事而破坏我们的环境。要尽快采取行动，让村民把秸秆翻耕在地里当肥料，还可以晒干后堆在一起冬天当柴烧。一定要坚决制止这种焚烧行为，荆门就会像以前一样，环境优美，处处鸟语花香。

保护动物An Appeal for Animal Protection

I am a student from Xinhua Middle School in Chongqing，China。 Informed that you have a vacancy for a student to serve as the spokesman for animals， I cannot resist my inner excitement，hoping to seize the opportunity to do something for animals 。

我是来自重庆新华中学的一名学生。得知你们有一个空缺给学生充当动物发言人，我抑制不住内心的激动，想要抓住这次机会为动物做些什么。

In my mind，nothing can delight me so much as caring for animals。 Wherever I go and whatever I do， I usually keep in mind that animals are angels from the heaven， which bring us endless fort and pleasure。 I have been a panda lover since my childhood。 Panda is so lovely that brings fun to people and they are regarded as the treasure of our country。 Unfortunately，such a rare species is now faced with the danger of being extinct。What I am eager to do is to raise people’s awareness of animal protection and appeal to more people to care for our earth panies。

我认为，没有什么能够像关心动物一样让我快乐。不管我去到哪里，在做些什么，我会时刻牢记动物是来自天堂的天使，带给我们无尽的舒适和快乐。我从小开始就是一名熊猫爱好者。熊猫是如此可爱，给人们带来乐趣，而且它们是我国的国宝。不幸的是，这种稀有物种此刻正频临灭绝的危险。我想要做的是提高人们保护环境的意识，呼吁更多的人关心我们地球的伴侣。

我相信，所有人团结起来就会有很大的不一样。如果我的申请能够得到大家的赞成，我将不胜感激。

保护环境，这个话题，可以说是家喻户晓，人人皆知，但是还有很多人光说不做，不用自己的实际行动来验证自己所说的话，认为保护环境是微不足道的，在我看来，环保要从件件小事做起。

在生活中，我们都能在随处看见很多人在做着他们所认为的“保护环境”的行为，随手便将垃圾扔在地上，哪怕垃圾桶仅离自己几步之遥，他们却也不愿多走几步。在他们走后，我便走上前去将垃圾捡起，扔进垃圾桶里。因为我知道，他们扔的垃圾会污染我们生活的家园，尽管会有环卫工人清理这些垃圾，但还是会有一些垃圾会被忽视、被遗忘；如果这些垃圾一天一天的堆积起来，便会形成一个巨大的垃圾山，那样我们便每天和苍蝇生活在一起，不会看到蔚蓝的天空、呼吸到新鲜的空气，所以让我们每一个人尽自己的一份力量，来保护我们所生活的家园吧，让保护环境与我们人人有关。

我们人类都生活在一个星球上，那就是地球。地球上，有供我们呼吸的氧气，还有茂密的森林、辽阔的草原、无边无际的海洋、各种各样的动物，构成了美丽的大自然。可是有些人不珍惜地球赐予我们的一切，破坏大自然，漫漫的黄沙代替了绿色的林海，波涛汹涌的江河变成了干涸的河床，美丽的风景区变成了荒野，有大气污染、臭氧层有破洞等现象。

现在几乎每家每户都有一辆属于自己的私家车穿行于大街小巷，可孰不知，这些汽车排放的尾气，会污染空气，破坏环境。虽然国家现在倡导绿色出行，可还是会有许许多多的人用私家车接送自家孩子上下学，即使是很近的路，他们也坐车不步行。然而我却与他们截然相反，我总是步行上下学，有时如果路途较远，我便骑自行车或坐公交车，很少乘坐出租车或私家车，因为我知道保护环境与我有关，与我有着很重要的联系，所以我希望我们每一个人都绿色出行，还给地球母亲一个健康的环境。

在学校里，我会看见这样的现象：有些人从水房出来，关闭水龙头，便径直离去，不关闭水龙头，在看到这样的情形后，我便走上前去，将水龙头关闭。虽然在这些人的眼中，浪费一些水是微不足道的，但是将这些水累积起来，却能做很多事，如：可以帮助缺水地区的人，可以去浇灌一些植物等等许多有益的事情，所以我们不应该浪费水资源，要珍惜水资源。有时还会看到，一些班级的灯在白天的时候仍旧打着，班级里的同学不会去闭灯，往往总是等到老师的提醒，才会去闭灯，虽然浪费这些电不算什么，但却体现了你不保护环境的心理，所以我希望大家能爱护我们的环境，保护我们的环境！

蓝天在向我们哭泣，大地在向我们呻吟，人类们，快用自己的行动保护环境吧，不要再破坏环境了，让我们用自己一份微薄的力量来保护环境吧！

“我们只有一个地球，保护环境要从自己做起。”每当我听到这熟悉的声音，我的心底仿佛就有一个声音在呼唤：“保护环境，人人有责。”

五年前我们穰东镇的环境很差。街道很窄，路面上又有很多垃圾。夏天会发出难闻的臭味，也会引来许多的苍蝇蚊子。河面上总是漂浮着一些塑料袋，瓶子，河水又黑又臭，令人不堪入目。一些工厂的废气黄烟滚滚，飘入空中，天空也经常是灰沉沉的，看不见蓝天白云。街中心的广场上坑坑洼洼，四周也没几棵树，随处都可以看见垃圾的影子。当然，也没人愿意到这儿玩。

去年，我们穰东镇为了创建文明卫生城镇，政府也做出了很大的努力。大街小巷增添了很多垃圾桶，一大早就有很多身穿桔红色工作服的清洁工在扫地。垃圾被装进垃圾车运到了垃圾中转站。每到夏天，街道上有很多禁止焚烧秸秆的标语，还有卫星监控。很多人也把摩托车换成了电动车，许多汽车也是电动的，这样空气的污染就大大地减少了。到了春天，在街道的两边和广场上环卫工人就会种上许多树木花草。这样我们这里的环境越来越好了！

现在，走在街上，看着郁郁葱葱的树木，听着清脆悦耳的鸟鸣，人们的心情无比舒畅。街中心的广场也焕然一新，引来许多人在这里游玩。

保护环境，人人有责。我要从身边的小事做起，做一个环保小卫士。
