学生一旦对网吧痴迷，就是对人生追求的放弃，学生一旦进入网吧，成绩直线下降。有一位学生写道：该死的网吧，你夺走了我的学业、夺走了我的大学，我咬牙切齿，切肤心疼!但我就是不能自控!还有位同学这样说：我一闭眼，就看到键盘，手指碰到任何物体都有鼠标的感觉，鼠标一点，导弹就发出了。我们无法真正进入那些网迷们的内心世界去体味他们的感受，但可以想象到他们通红的眼睛、疲惫的心理到底有多少精力去学习。

5、安全隐患

大多数网吧都未请专业人员安装设备，也未经消防、安全、文化、卫生等部门允许，其营业场所的电脑安放的密度、电脑走线、安全出口等都存在着不同程度的问题，而且大多数网吧出进仅一扇门，无安全通道和疏导标志，存在着巨大的安全隐患。
